History

Established in 2005.

‘twentythreeSHOP was born in the summer of 2006 following Miss Manderley’s first try at making handmade accessories. Seeing a possible market for her little hobby, she geared the shop towards teenagers and young college students who are in search of unique and novel products. Initial sales were done at Soompi Forums’ selling/​trading threads with further expansion to a Livejournal powered selling journal in the next autumn season. We also specialize in cute accessories & merchandise, all imported from Asia. This marks the opening of another leap for this small entrepreneural gig by a fresh college graduate.

Viel Catig or miss manderley as she likes to be called is a twenty something college graduate, her real life career involves the exciting life of a registered nurse. Her love affair with earrings began in 2004 when by chance her sister bought her a pair of chandelier earrings at Robinson’s May. The rest they say is history, as her love for earrings grew more and more each year.

She began creating her own pieces in the summer of 2006 following a vacation to Manila. Using beads and pearls imported from the Philippines and other asian countries, one of a kind designs were created that were cute, colorful, bubbly yet classy for the DIY generation.
