Payam Sooferi is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered.
I visited my previous dentist for a routine check up as well as for a pain I was having. Xrays were taken and I was told I was in need of 2 root canals, and 4 filings. My previous dentist also recommended a night guard, and a deep clean. In the same sentence, they went into how they offer financing also. Due to the cost of the needed, and a suspension I had, I went for a second opinion. I provided the 2^nd dentist the estimate I was given. The second dentist looked at my teeth and recommended the exact same, just at a lower cost. I then scheduled my appointment with Dr. Payam Sooferi for a final opinion, and was prepared to have him do the work as his rates were the most competitive.
The office is emasculate. Spotless. The women at the front desk Angie was extremely friendly and helpful, as was the office manager Angeneh.
While the dental assistant was preparing my xrays, I overheard another patient explaining to the dentist how she was told she needed 8 cavities, and was in for a second opinion also. The dentist being as straight forward as he is laughed, and said. «8 cavities? My dear, you have 1.» I knew at that point this was an honest, and very straight forward dentist.
Dr. Sooferi then examined me. None of the work the other dentists told me I needed was necessary! Dr. Sooferi explained how he encounters this constantly in his trade. I did not need 2 root canals and 4 fillings. I merely have the beginning of a cavity that he want’s to monitor. Dr. Sooferi feels I may need a filing in about 3 years on that particular tooth. My pain was being caused by my bite, and the effect it’s having on my gum. He also explained I was in no need of a «deep clean», but merely a normal cleaning.
I had my cleaning done, and am scheduling a return visit to address the issue with my bite.
In the last 2 days I have referred several people to Dr. Sooferi, and he will now be my permanent dentist.

I needed dental implants and root canal and more. After learning online, I went to 3 different dentists. Dr Joeseph Payam and ihs staff were great. They educated me so that I could make a decision, have fair pricing for the services, and were friendly and professional. I’m super happy with the results since the implant placement/​color matching was impeccable.
Also glad i took their recommendation on the teeth whitening and glad it didn’t make my teeth sensitive either :)

Dr. Payam n his staff are truly d best, this is the one and only dentist u and ur family will ever need. Very knowledgeable, proffesional, he explains everything in detail will put u at ease, his staff will go out of their way to accomodate busy schedules, but dont take my word for it or all the great reviews, if ur reading these reviews ur probably looking for a dentist, so book an appointment urself, and see for urself, and ull be leaving a great review urself. Dr. Sooferi is a great doctor, so as his assistants!
He pulled my wisdom tooth and did a filling with no pain! It was my first visit and now on I will always be his patient!

I am beyond amazed and grateful for the service I received at this dental office. First off, they saw me the same day as my wisdom teeth had been hurting very much. I was very scared but the doctor put me at ease and pulled 2 of my 4 teeth right away! I was really very nervous but to say it was painless and easy was an understatement. It was incredible how quickly it was done. I literally was crying happy tears at the end of it. Thank you so much to this wonderful team for such a smooth experience. I will be back to pull the other two and won’t be scared the next time. Cannot recommend it enough!

These people are true professional and understand what customer service is. Angie went out of her way to schedule the appointment on my day off from work. Arpi did the deep cleaning for my teeth. She walked me through all the steps of the process so that everything was clear to me. My teeth look great she really did an awesome job.

From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by a serene and welcoming clinic with friendly staff trained to make you feel at ease. The doctor is thorough and reassuring. He explained everything that was happening in a way I could understand and gave me the advise I needed to make the right decisions about my dental health. Came here based on all the good reviews from other Unilocalers and I must say they were spot on. Got a routine cleaning and some fillings redone and the doctor took good care of me. Highly recommended!

This was a first time visit. I needed to get a check-​up and get what I knew was going to be unpleasant news about teeth that had developed cavities 2yrs ago and have gotten worse obviously.
When I walked into the office I was warmly greeted at the front desk and then given welcome to the office letter. Since it was my first visit I was given a tour of the office. When I was taken back for my cleaning the dental hygienist was extremely polite and made every effort to make feel comfortable. So many hygienists take that metal pick and jab it at your gums, She took the x-​rays and thoroughly explained what was going on and what should be taken care of first, second, etc.
When Dr. Sooferi came in I immediately felt at ease and knew i was going to be in good hands (pun intended). He came across as someone who really cares about his patients and not just «Hi, here’s what’s wrong, see ya».
As for expensive? Aren’t all dental procedures expensive? Dr. Sooferi was very fair priced. But that’s always been my experience, even with insurance. For me, I’d rather use one of the best dentist Glendale has, rather than hop from one to another looking for the best price. I would highly recommend The Dental Circle!

I think everyone can agree that when it comes to going to the dentist it is very unnerving and difficult to actually go through with it. A friend of mine recommended me to this place so i decided to give it a try. I am really glad i did because since the time that i called to the actual visit and treatment, the have been the best dentist i have been to. Customer service is outstanding. Ana was the person i spoke to and she is absolutely wonderful, great attitute, very nice and helpful. She made me feel like we were friends and that made me feel very comfortable. The treatment was very affordable and actually the best price i got from contacting other dentist offices. I recommend this place to anyone that needs work done for a very affordable price. They work with you and even offer payments. Overall extremely satisfied with my visit.

First off, I along with a million of other people hate the dentist! Anyway, I was working in Torrance but a great friend of mine recommended I go see Dr. Sooferi in Glendale. I was having a really bad toothache and was already seen by multiple dentists and specialists with no relief. So I decided to call Dr. Sooferi’s office and spoke to Krista, she was really great at making me feel calm and welcome. She asked if I would like to come later that day so that Dr. Sooferi would try and help ease the pain. I arrived, (Dun dun dun), well the place was very easy to find and they have a small parking structure which is very convenient! I walked in and sat down to fill out the paperwork. The waiting room is small but very clean and modern. I loved the fact that there was absolutely no wait time in the waiting room. I am called in by Noelly, and she is great, definitely comforting the patient through the long walk of doom lol. She directs me to one of the chairs and asked if I had any questions or concerns. She explained to me step by step how they diagnose and treat patients. Soon after my xrays are taken, Dr. Sooferi is called to the room and introduces himself. He wastes no time and begins his exam. He definitely found the problem, asked if I would like to initiate the treatment today and explains the details to me. Right after he finishes his talk, in walks their financial coordinator, (sorry the only name that didn’t stick in my head), and she definitely made my day. She explained every procedure in detail and their cost, then she offered me a Carecredit card and within no time, I was done with all the paperwork. They are generous enough to pay all of the interest for 18 months. Dr. Sooferi then begins to work on my tooth and everything is going great! There is absolutely no pain and I’m very grateful for that! After some time of attending me, the procedure is finished and I’m escorted to the front by Noelly. Once again, I speak with Krista and she schedules me for a follow up.
Dr. Sooferi and his team take the time to address your needs and help their patients understand the importance of dental health. I have already started recommending him to my friends and family. Thank you so much for making this experience as pleasant as it was. I look forward to continue seeing Dr. Sooferi as my regular dentist!!!

I decided to look for a dentist in Glendale thats close to my job, that does implants. I came across Dr. Sooferi’s office. I decided to go in for a consultation, the receptionist Krista was very friendly and gave me a same day appointment. Dr sooferi saw my xrays and said I had excellent bone to place the implant. Ana was able to help me with financing and I was able to get my implant done that same day. Noelly the assistant made sure I was good through out the whole procedure. Overall awesome experience at the dentist and will definitely recommend this office to my friends and family.

I was hesitant to stray from my dentist, but, needed to find an office wherein I could have several procedures performed within one location, if necessary. Given the great reviews on Unilocal,I decided to give Dental Circle a try. I am glad I did!
I phoned late on a Friday afternoon. Krista was very pleasant. She took the time to investigate my insurance, gave me a ball park of the fees I might incur, was extremely considerate of the pain I was experiencing and booked me for an appointment the next morning.
Upon arrival to the office, parking was convenient (directly behind the office) and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Krista checked me in very quickly and within minutes I was in the dental chair. Ana was very accommodating, ensuring that I was comfortable while she performed x-​rays and prepped me for Dr. Pedram. Dr Pedram was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, offered to show me the x-​rays and explained exactly what my options were. It turned out, I needed a root canal, which he performed with ease.
I definitely do not agree that the office is «money hungry», so to speak. I say this because I had a cracked tooth. It was previously suggested that I would need to extract the tooth and proceed with an implant (which is extremely expensive). Dr. Pedram suggested a root canal in attempt to avoid extraction. If they only cared about money, he could have very easily advised me to extract and proceed with the implant (a much more expensive option when compared to a root canal). Dr. Pedram also showed great concern when I expressed to him how much pain medication I was consuming. He offered alternatives to «protect my internal organs». That’s definitely not something that someone who only cared about money would do.
The office is an open floor plan, so, you do hear and see the work being performed on other patients; however, I did not find this disturbing or invasive to the work I was receiving. I would definitely recommend this office to family and/​or friends.

I just moved to Glassell Park from Pasadena and was looking for a new dentist closer to home. Searched on Unilocal and read good reviews about Dr. Sooferi and The Dental Circle so I’ve decided to call to make appointment. I called a month in advance to make an appointment for a general cleaning. The girl who helped me on the phone took down my insurance information and told me she would contact me if there was any problem. I did not get a phone call back expect an appointment reminder call so I assumed everything was fine.
I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early. The state of the office was in total chaos that day (it was a Tuesday morning). I usually choose early weekday mornings to avoid long wait time thinking people are usually at work. The office manager told me they had overbooked for the day. She asked for my insurance again and said she did not have time to call them yet. She only had like a month to do it. I ended up waiting 45 minutes to finally get to see Dr Sooferi and it was only for a consultation. I specially asked for a generally cleaning to be included in with the consultation since I was aware that is the procedure of every new patients. The receptionist should have inform me that the two can not be done on the same day. Dr Sooferi is a nice guy but I do not think he is very knowledge in his profession. He was the only dentist who told me I did not need gum graft when the past three dentists and 2 periodontists had recommended that I would have the procedure done. Instead he recommended bonding to slow down the receding gums. Which is beneficial for him since he would charged me for a hefty procedure on 12 teeth. I was skeptical and told him I would think about it. Instead of further explaining his recommendation he told me to go home and google it. By this I was wanted to schedule my appointment to get my teeth clean and find another dentist. I scheduled to come back in 2 weeks to get the cleaning.
The office opened at 9 am and they scheduled me at that exact time. Being a good patient I arrived at 8:50a. Door was closed and lights were off. The office manager did not get there until 10:15a. I was livid and she even have the audacity to ask how my morning is going without an apology. Finally got my cleaning done by 10:30 and literally the dental hygienist was done by 10:45. The whole cleaning took only 15 minutes and I’ve waited around longer than the whole procedure. I don’t know how long other places take to do a general cleaning but with my old hygienist she usually spend 45 to 60 minutes with me.
The office manager dresses like she is about to go to a night club. She was wearing 4 inch heels and a tight mini dress. They had loud hip hop music playing. I’m a big fan of hip hop music and clubbing but not for my dental office. It was so unprofessional. On top of that they were speaking in their language and chit chatting with each other while I was sitting in the chair with my mouth wide opened. It reminded me of the nail salon.
I don’t know how this place got good reviews before. Maybe it’s from the employees’ families and friends who gave these reviews. I was fooled and I feel that I should share this so others won’t be in the same predicament. The one star is for me not being able to give me a negative rating.

Well I will start off by saying I hate going to the dentist. The thought of getting drilled, the sounds and the feeling is horrible. But as I walked in I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist for my bi-​annual cleaning and checkup. Dr. Sooferi, was very professional in assessing my x-​rays which came out super fast, and I had a wonderful cleaning. My coffee stained yellow teeth were once white again. The one thing I have learned all these years is to follow your dentists suggestions and floss after every meal or once at night. When I didn’t floss I got all these cavities, on today’s visit I didn’t have any. The office is very clean and full of light and happy smiles. If you need a good dentist that can work around your busy schedule, this is the place, and they have free parking in the back or downstairs!

Amazing dentists who are knowledgable and honest are hard to find. The dentists here are both! I would highly recommend them.

I work near eagle rock. I went dr Sooferi’ s Glendale office for this one hour in office teeth whitening. I heard from people that they do zoom whitening for only $ 99. It took about two hours but they gave a really good service. I was amazed with the results. I would recommend all my friends from Glendale, Burbank area to go

This office is truly wonderful and comforting! They are the best dentists in town! The office staff are friendly and Dr. Sooferi is the most charming dentist I know! The office is modern and very technologically advanced! They are very up-​to-​date and constantly trying to improve the dental experience for their patients! I have had the pleasure of coming to this practice for over 4 years and I have never missed an appointment!

I have finally found a dentist who I can trust, with a front desk staff that are friendly and don’t have an attitude– unlike some other places that I’ve been to! The office is also super sleek which is always a perk :) I also love how Dr. Sooferi didn’t rush through my procedure, but rather took the time to explain everything to me!
