History

Established in 2009.

While building personal web pages for ourselves in the late 90’s we realized we had a knack for web design. After building a website for the church we attended in church in Normal, Illinois in 2000 we began to learn the basics of HTML and SEO and how good design could help get a website found in the rapidly growing and very competitive internet marketplace. By 2005 we built our first E-​Commerce site and launched an online Christian Apparel business, further honing our skills in web design, integration, HTML, SEO and CSS.

In 2009 we were approached by the Central Illinois Chapter of the International Facilities Management Association to re-​design their website which had become outdated. That first professional contract was the job that launched Studio902 Web Solutions. CIC-​FIMA remains our best client. Since then our client base has kept growing. While HTML «hard coding» was the first language we learned, we now use several other popular platforms to bring our web designs to life.

I was born & raised in Michigan & learned a good work ethic from my dad & the entrepreneurial spirit from my mom. Over the years I’ve been involved in many businesses, either as an employee or running small businesses myself. My 1^st business was as a lawn care specialist, while I was still in high school. I had about 5 real regular clients. Since then my wife & I have owned a mobile radio installation company, a small manufacturing firm, a cleaning company, a pie-​making business, an Online Christian Apparel & Gift store and a Christian Business directory. Throughout these experiences we realized the struggles of small business. One of the biggest is having a compelling web site. Starting Studio902 Web Solutions was a result of our desire to help small businesses develop a great, affordable web presence.

Our company name is based on Psalm 90:2 «Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.»
