I am compelled to write my first Unilocal review because I feel indebted and very thankful for the work Sokrat did to help us close the deal on our fixer upper in our ideal location (in Burbank). Immediately upon first talking to Sokrat, I knew he was the broker for us. He was very straight forward about what he could do for us from the get-​go and transparent throughout the entire process. At our first meeting, he spent over an hour giving my husband and I the run-​down on the criteria for buying a house thus we were able to narrow down exactly what we needed to look for and did not waste any time in finding our home. We actually only had to go to five houses with Sokrat before finding our home. In comparison, I had spent months going around in circles with another agent who simply did not know how to guide us and let us put a bid on a house that would not have appraised because the price per square foot was over $ 650 (in Burbank!). Sokrat explained this to us and our mind sets shifted from helpless buyers to informed investors who could make a wise purchase. That in itself is worth a five star review.
Sokrat also facilitated the entire process by provding an honest and thorough inspector, appraiser, and loan broker. His connections are priceless and stream-​lined the entire buying process thus saving us time and headaches (much appreciated for a mother of a newborn and two other kids under six). I know we would not be home owners today without his connetions and we wouldn’t have made a wise decision without his guidance. We now look forward to phase two of our dream home project– the remodel. Sokrat assures us that he will guide us thru the entire process and I believe him because he has fulfilled every word he’s told us thus far. He is a «yes» man. He never said «no» to anything during the entire buying process and he always called me back with answers if he didn’t have the answer on the spot. Sokrat was recommended to us by the friend, and I’m really glad that my husband and I met him. We were looking to buy our first house, and Sokat guided us through the process at each and every step! He is very knowledgable, professional, definitely knows what he is doing, and, what I liked the most, pays attention to every single detail, which is very important with purchasing a house. Buying a home is typically one of the largest transactions you will ever be apart of and having someone on your side, fighting for you, is a necessity.

This Christmas was our best since moving to California 11 years ago because we celebrated in our new home. We have been looking for many years for the perfect house and one day while driving down a side street in Burbank I found it. I immediately went and got my husband from work and brought him right over to see it. Sokrat was there showing to another couple that had an appointment but was nice enough to let us in even without an appointment.
The home was all remodeled so beautifully and tasteful, it was just what we were looking for. I had to have this house. Sokrat took the time to help us with everything to make it possible to get this house. We knew nothing about purchasing a home here and he did everything for us. He took care of all inspections and went to the bank with us and helped us fill out paperwork. He knew we had to have this house and did everything in his power to make it happen. I really believe that if not for him we would not be in this beautiful home. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for that perfect Realtor.
