I needed a pair of socks to pull together my Halloween costume. They weren’t a terribly difficult pattern to find, but like most places around Halloween, they were either sold out, overpriced, 100% nylon, the wrong color, or any combination of the above. Sockbroker was the only place I found that had the socks I needed(and with free shipping!). The shipping said it could take a while, but mine we delivered cross-country in 4 days, and they’re exactly what I needed. Tina Belcher costume, here I come.

I placed an order for my daughter’s soccer team to have matching knee-high socks. I needed a total of 18 pairs. When I received the order, there were two pairs of socks that were the same pattern, but a different color. I called them to ask why they sent me two pairs that I did not order and I was told that they ran out of that color, so they made a substitution. I explained why the substitution was not okay and that if they had communicated this with me I would have canceled the order. Since they still did not have the color I wanted in stock, I told them I wanted to return all 18 pairs of socks. They told me if I wanted to return them I’d have to pay for the shipping! How rude to expect a customer to pay for shipping when the business did not communicate and sent the wrong items! I will NEVER purchase anything from this business again. Looking at the other reviews, it seems as though this is their standard method of operating. Keep leaving customers unsatisfied and we all know where your business will end up. There are plenty of other places to buy socks from. GOANYPLACEBUTHERE! On top of all that, the customer service person was very rude. When I spoke to her manager, he was very defensive of her and said that I was being rude. Incompetence, no concern for customer satisfaction, unprofessional, and a complete rip off.

Avoid this place. Order went OK, but when it came time to make a return they did not respond or stand behind their product. I received a wool sock that had an obvious pink stain on it through the clear packaging I wanted to email them before I returned it having been my first time. I sent 3 emails including pictures of the stain. They were sent across a week and I got no response at all, checked spam folder too. I warned them I’d write a negative review if they didn’t at least respond. At this point I figure I won’t return anything if they won’t respond and don’t trust them at all. Plus by the time I pay for shipping and restock i won’t get me much back. I will not order from them again!

I was looking for a certain type of sock that was not available anywhere else that I could find. Sock Broker had them. Since then I have made several purchases from this company and have always received my orders promptly. When something was not clear to the seller, he called me personally to get it squared away. Great company. good product, great customer service!
