History

Established in 1983.

Back in 1983 Snookies Cookies was founded when husband and wife, Don and Dianne (a.k.a. Snookie), decided it was time for them to have their own business. With the recipe for irresistible cookies in hand they opened a store in Hollywood, CA.

Acting on a suggestion from a customer, Snookie sent a box of her incredible cookies to Rick Dees on KIIS FM. Rick received the cookies on air and tried them for the first time. He was impressed and graciously mentioned them to his listening audience, tempting them with the idea of fresh, warm, delicious cookies delivered right to their door. Well the phones back at cookie central went crazy and Snookies Cookies delivery was born.

Armed with their number one fan occasionally promising cookies delivered to one of his listeners, the business quickly outgrew the Hollywood location prompting the move to the current location in Glendale, CA.

I’m a cookie monster and I’m a fan of Snookies Cookies & More. I love the place, its simple and clean. The counter staff were ok to me… and with good customer service. They had a wide selection of displayed cookies. You can choose whatever you want, love the Gift basket goodness!!! Ice Cream Sandwich is one of the best cookie goodness I ever had. I love this place and the cookie icecream. yum yum yum!!!

I was so excited to try these cookies today. I asked for a half dozen: 2 chocolate chip, 1 peanut butter, 1 white chocolate and 2 snickerdoodle. I didn’t receive any peanut butter. I was disappointed about this. The cookies were good but I really wanted to try peanut butter. I also felt like they were a little on the pricey side since Diddy Riese is so much cheaper. If the cookies were $ 1 each I probably would have bought a dozen. It felt pretty expensive to only get 6 cookies for $ 8. Overall, I enjoyed the cookies but I would still like to try the peanut butter and hope they can fix there error at some point…

The most amazing cookies I ever had. I’m not a cookie person but I got addicted to snookies cookies. I had so much fun at their mardigra party they do every year. Can’t wait until next year. Kings cake was delicious. Frosting was lemony and very light and not to sweet. Can’t wait to pick up my two dozen mini cookies for Valentine’s Day party.

Great: Packaging is great in using less. It was a box, completely filled up with lots of cookies, wrapped in foil — no wasted space or big basket to dispose of. Maybe the cookies would have been better if put into a plastic bag rather than foil.
bad: Cookies were dried out and old tasting even though we got it from next day mail.

It’s been awhile since I had Snookies, so I ordered a basket for delivery. I can truly say they are not the same as they use to be. The muffins were pretty good, nice and moist. Did not really get to enjoy cookies that much because they were too soft, if there is such a thing, they completely fell apart when I picked one up. At least delivery was on time, and they still package it up well in their cute baskets. This use to be the go to place for cookies and muffins, but now they are pretty mediocre, do not think I will order from here again, not worth the money.

OMG when I tell you these cookies are to die for, I’m not joking they are what I consider one of the best bakery made cookies I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying.
For years the companies that do business with the hospital I work for would send our office a large tin of these bad boys at Christmas time.
Picture it, 36 women in a small office all anticipating the arrival of Snookies Chocolate chip goodness, coffee cup in hand, and elbows ready to jab each other out of the way… the cookies are so good you can swear that your grandma just made a batch of cookies for you.
We would get a Holiday Tin, they come in flavor varieties but I always went straight for the CC as those are my absolute favorites, the tin also comes with a glass jug of milk which I’ve never seen in all the years I’ve worked there, so I assume someone must have designs on that.
The prices aren’t cheap, yet the quality of the product proves why, plus the fact you can have it delivered and you don’t have to mess up your kitchen.
I haven’t been to the shop itself, but if I’m in the vicinity I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in… but be warned Snookies I’ll be hunting Chocolate Chips when I get there. :)

We LOVE Snookies Cookies. They always come through when I order a basket for my hubby. He loves the cookies and gets a special surprise when I have them sent over. They have the cutest holiday baskets too! Esp the MARDI GRAS and Halloween! The cookies are so yummy too! Prices are def decent and they deliver to cities that are a bit further (this is a BIG plus). I’ve only actually been able to try this place once because every other time I’ve tried to go it’s been closed. Why do they close so early on the weekends? I’m pretty sure people want ice cream after 3.

I’m not sure what all the hoopla is about. I bit into the cookie thinking I was about to find gold at the end of a rainbow. What I got was a regular @$$ basic cookie. Nice staff though. I’ll stick with Mrs Fields. A dollar and change per cookie? Lawd ham mercy!

Snookies cookies… is the best! Called in and ordered a HUMONGOUS basket of 300 assorted cookies, cupcake/​muffins and brownies at 9:30am and received this delicious delivery at 1:45pm… talk about AMAZING customer service. Desirie, you are the sweetest and most efficient woman! I’m so happy to do business with you all. What a fantastic experience, delicious treat and wonderful way to spoil our employees. Looking forward to trying all of the glorious treats at Snookies Cookies! Only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because there weren’t any cupcake/​muffins or brownies left for me haha! I’ll have to send over another review after I visit Snookies Cookies on my own.

I kept passing this place so I finally stopped by. I walked in and said «where’s the cookies??» You’d think you’d see some displayed but there weren’t any in the case! And no sweet yummy cookie smell either.
The lady was very nice and said they were in the back. I peeked while she went to get my cookies and it looked huge back there. For the record my snookiedoodle and semi sweet w pecans were deeeelicious! ESP for the price– can’t beat it. But…
I kinda wish I could take ½ star away for the décor. This place has soooo much potential and could be so cute. From all the branded trucks in the lot it looks like they do more catering than anything. But it could really win as a bring the family out for desserts spot esp with the free wifi and ice cream… ice cream sandwiches! Yes please!

Ordered my friend some Hope-​You-​Feel-​Better milk and cookies with a balloon through their website. Ordering was really easy and my friend got her cookie-​care-​package the same day. She absolutely loved it and still talks about it today.
I forgot to sign the note I wrote her and her sister-​in-​law called Snookies Cookies to find out who sent them to her. Thankfully they gave her my name so she wouldn’t think she had an anonymous admirer lol — although that would have made the cookies even better in my opinion =P
I personally like to send my loved ones Snookies Cookies rather than flowers. It’s something different and more enjoyable.

This review is for how easy the ordering process was over the phone and what a great selection of gift items they provide. I placed an order for a client who lives in Southern CA — we are in Northern CA.
Javier took my order and was very patient, he went through options that fit my budget and had such a pleasant demeanor. The one star removal is because what I ended up choosing was a gift basket that included a movie. They go through a list of movies you can pick, and twice a movie he mentioned was ultimately not available. Not Javier’s fault at all, and he was very apologetic, but their system is a bit disorganized.
I am crossing my fingers that the cookies and brownies are delish — if their service is any indication, then I’ll be a happy girl!

My company ordered a bunch of cookies from here to celebrate Farmers Cares Week through Thank America’s Teachers. Lots of flavors available – oatmeal raisin, peanut butter chocolate, Snickerdoodle, butter pecan, chocolate chip, peanut butter. I grabbed an oatmeal raisin one. It was large, soft, chewy, and very sweet. Yum.

Okay so I actually have to say something about their oatmeal raisin cookie that I found under the pile of the nasty other assorted cookies. OMG, I must admit that the oatmeal raisin cookies are the bomb. I loved it. I wanted another one, but wouldn’t you know it, it was the only one. Ugh!
Well if the opportunity ever arises, I would buy their Oatmeal Raisin Cookies for sure.

I was extremely surprised after trying their shaved ice. The favors that they use taste authentic and their variety is really large from flavors ranging from margarita to horchata to honeydew melon. We tried all those flavors and they were delicious. The only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is because their operating hours are so limited. Closing at 4 is way too early, but besides that their snow cones are so worth it. I also tried their cookies and they were pretty good. I would stick with the white macadamia nuts cookie. That was the best.

The shop is not very inviting appears as if displays have been sitting there for years very lifeless and drab. Menu is confusing and the odd background and font does not help. Cookie cases are a continuation of boring display skills and lack of creativity. Some paint and creative ideas would do the shop wonders and would match the very tasty cookies.
Also My order of two dozen cookie was wrapped in tin foil, I found that very strange.

I LOVE THEIR COOKIES! My work place received a basket of cookies last year and I remember loving these cookies and unfortunately didn’t remember the name of the place. Well, fortunately we received another basket this year! YAY! I’m definitely gonna gain the standard 10 lbs. around the holidays now!
These cookies are so buttery with a crisp outer edge and chewy consistency in the center. It truly melts in your mouth. For me, it’s truly addicting! You can’t eat just one! My favorites are the classic chocolate chip cookie and the white chocolate macadamia. I’m going to try the peanut butter one tomorrow :).
