A friend referred me to Dr. Chang after she was cured of pain in her calf muscles. My first visit with Dr. Chang was a very positive experience for me. I left their office with increased mobility in my shoulders; a warm feeling from the smiles of Dr. Chang and the other female Accupuncturist; and the confidence that Dr. Chang will be able to restore my shoulders back to normal.
The only reason I didn’t give a 5-​star rating is because there were more add-​on charges that I felt should’ve been included in the accupuncture service, i.e., heat lamp fee (applied for 2 minures — $ 5), massage therapy fee (pressure points applied for about 3 minutes — $ 30), and $ 10 for 2′ of tape. I left the office with $ 65 out of pocket PLUS what my insurance pays them.
I guess one gets what you pay for. In this case, positive relief of symptoms. Thanks, Dr. Chang!

AMAZING! Dr. Chang really loves what she does. She’s very knowledgeable and caring (all the staff is). I had been in pain for a long time. My body has healed dramatically and I am very grateful. I highly recommend this practice.

I had never had acupuncture before I came to this office. I suffer from severe seasonal allergies and am trying to get off of medication. A few sessions with Dr. Kay and I was SO much better! We then started working on other things, such as raising my blood counts since I had recently finished chemotherapy.
The staff is wonderful and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them!

I’m fairly sure Dr. Chang is a wizard! On my first day, she was looking at the way I carried myself and determined I had a collapsed arch in my left foot. I’ve spent at least 10 years working on fixing my back and never even realized it! Very nice lady, definitely cares about each patient individually — much more than just a number to her.

A friend of mine recommended that I go to Shin Acupuncture after his wife had excellent results. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and started to experience a flare up after having been in remission for a couple of years. I started working with Kyo Kay Chang to not only get myself back into remission but also to counteract the negative side affects of my Rheumatoid Arthritis medication. I had excellent results. Not only did the symptoms and flare up completely disappear, I also started to feel healthier than I have in a long time. She used a combination of acupuncture and nutritional eating to help me combat my disease.
I highly recommend Shin Acupuncture. The staff is friendly and laid back. They are serious about helping people, and they are very skilled.

I found Shin Acupuncture and Herbs Healing Center through a family recommendation. I had not thought much about how acupuncture could improve my life, but this turned out to be the catalyst of change I needed to jump start my life and release bad habits. I am very thankful I found the knowledgeable and caring Dr. Chang as well as June and the rest of the staff.

kay chang is an outstanding chiropractor and accupunturist and also an herbalist, which i’ve gotten consistant results with and deserves to be praised for her work in the community. I recommend her very highly.

Dr. Chang is extremely talented and has provided me with a great amount of care and attention during my visits. In fact, everyone who works at Shin really seems to care about my wellbeing and you too will know with the time & professional manner in which they take care of you.
The atmosphere at Shin’s is friendly and if you’re lucky to spend a few minutes in their comfy waiting room, take advantage of the fascinating books on health that adorn their shelves. But be quick, I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen.
I truly recommend Shin Acupuncture & Herbs to anybody who is in need of a higher level of care than the regular medical establishment can provide.
Try it. Really. You won’t be sorry.
