Senior Helpers is an In-​Home Healthcare Company that specializes in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Senior Helpers provides a full complement of home care services ranging from companionship and housekeeping services to personal care services including Live-​In and 24 hour care services on a short or long term basis.

We support general care needs or complex care needs such as spinal cord injury care or post-​surgery care with its staff of Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Home Health Aides and Companion Caregivers. All caregivers are full employees and undergo a rigorous 50 state background check and training validation. All care is under the direct supervision of our Registered Nurse.

Senior Helpers was started in 2005 by Jamie and Felicia Miller.

Business Owner

Jamie and Felicia Miller opened Senior Helper in 2006, as a result of their own need for in– home supportive care when Jamie’s Ohio based parents were ill. «My father passed away in 1997 after a long battle with kidney disease. My mother died 9 years earlier of lung cancer and there was no one to help my dad during his illness,» said Jamie. «We were out of town kids. It was hard. My brother and sister and I rotated in and out of Ohio every third weekend in an effort to help. We really needed some help that was reliable and trustworthy, and that was not easy to find,» he said. That experience informs the way the Millers run their business. «It is amazing what you learn when you are a consumer of a service. We have never forgotten what it is like to be consumers and we ever mindful of what seniors and their families expect of us,» Jamie said.
