Where do I begin. Alex’s process is simple, straight forward and easy. It is always nerve wrecking to send your tapes to someone you don’t know, and hope that it will be transferred as described. Alex is personable and professional with the best prices anyone can find. I have dropped off over 5 boxes of old tapes that needed to be converted and he charged me $ 10 per video (which is nothing!) as well as uploaded the footage to a Flash Drive for no additional cost. He got them to me within the week and contacted me personally when they were ready to be picked up. I forgot to bring a flash drive one time, so he simply gave me one. He is quick and thorough.

As a Christmas present for my parents, I recently wanted to convert 4 VHS tapes of family vacations and weddings to DVD. The tapes are from 1985/​86, so at 30 years old I was concerned that they would have deteriorated beyond retrieval. However, Alex was able to do the conversion and I’m very pleased with the final product. It gives me peace of mind to know that the memories are finally preserved, and I will definitely be reusing his service if we can find any additional tapes. Alex is easy to work with, quick to respond to calls and messages, and very accommodating. His main concern is making sure the job is done right.

Took my wedding vhs to be transferred to a digital file and Alex did a great job. Super fast, extremely reasonable, and very efficient! …and to top it off Alex is sweet and easy to work with.
A note about the location: my gps got a bit confused as to where the specific location is, so if this happens to you as well here’s a bit of clarification: if you’re coming up Allen (driving away from Glen Oaks) it’s the alley on the left, not right. I went with these guys after Costco told me they charge $ 20 per tape per 2 hours. So my 3 hour vhs tape was gonna be $ 40?! Alex did the same tape for $ 10 tax included and got it done the same day. I took several of my camcorder tapes too and got it on my usb drive. All went well. Thank you! Oh call before you go!!!

I wasn’t in a rush, but wanted to get my childhood VHS recordings digitized since my father passed away. I kept looking at places and they either shipped the tapes out, or I had to pay extra for the format I wanted. I just wanted the video files on an external hard drive and Alex delivered just that.
I dropped off 14 video tapes on Tuesday and said I didn’t need them until May 23^rd. He called me Wednesday and said that some of my tapes were just TV recordings and that I didn’t have to pay for them and for me to look through them to double check if there was anything on there that we wanted later. He labeled all the tapes with the file numbers, and which ones were TV recordings.
I picked up my tapes today along with MP4s on my external HD and I couldn’t be happier to hear my dad’s voice again! Thanks Alex, for the easy transaction! At $ 10/​tape with barely a wait, this service is a steal.

Absolutely want to sing Alex’s praises — had a family member that passed away and a few VHS recordings I wanted digitized for the memorial service and Alex provided perfect service. Incredibly easy to work with (great communicator), same-​day service (factoring in my timing), great price-​points, and ultimately received exactly what I wanted and hoped for… Big thanks to Alex and his Company.

Alex is great. He converted 7 of my Hi8 tapes in to digital in about 3 days. I dropped off the tapes at his house and picked them up. Each tape is about 1.5 — 2 hrs and the quality on them is great. They are each about 2GB in size so a total of about 15gb for 7 tapes 2 hours each.
I wasn’t in a rush to get them done, i gave him a week however he just did them in 3 days. So he can handle bigger capacity jobs pretty fast.
I will be bringing another round of 9 more tapes to him for the conversion.
Also, when i came back to pick them up, i had him copy everything to a USB 3.0 (PC Compatible) hard drive and he did it in about 10 minutes while i just waited in my car and played candy crush.
My tapes were really old and i was initially afraid that they would get messed up during copying. They haven’t been touched for 15 years. He was able to give them back to me, no problem at all.
Worth the money.

Seems too good to be true. Dropped off three MiniDV tapes on a Friday morning, had all three on my laptop via Dropbox the next day. Great work, super convenient.
