History

Established in 2011.

This is a family owned business which started with the need to find something active for our two little boys to do in the backyard. Kids+water=hours spent pumping water into a tub. As their friends came over and found the same fascination with our pumps, we began to think this would be a good idea to rent for birthday parties. We launched in April of 2011 with 5 different designs and had a phenomenal summer. We’re looking forward to many years of making kid parties’ cool!

Pump and Splash began in 2011 when Dave discovered that a hand pump mounted on a steel tub equaled lots of hours of fun play for our boys, aged 3 and 4 at the time. Since then, we’ve developed 6 different models and rent our pumps to preschools, churches, temples, and families for preschool fun. Our pumps use between 1 – 2 bath tubs full for a party and recirculate the water, making them drought friendly water play!
