PKRA is a member owned and operated karting club. As a club, we provide a friendly atmosphere for people to practice and race their own kid karts, TAG Karts, and Shifter Karts. In addition to the use of their own karts, drivers can rent karts from either the Bondurant School, or the other kart shops in town. PKRA also holds Regional and National events for various different organizations.

History

Established in 1982.

PKRA celebrates 30+ years of karting in the Phoenix Valley. Originally a half mile paved road course, PKRA (Formula K Raceway) is now 0.7 miles and 12 turns of smooth, professionally built paved surface. PKRA has held countless National events, and fostered many professional drivers such as Buddy Rice (Indy 500 Winner, Daytona 24hr Winner), Michael McDowell (NASCAR), Danica Patrick (NASCAR), and many more.
