You have a piano that needs tuning?

I have a master’s degree in music and have started tuning pianos about 20 years ago.

I will not only perform a professional tuning on your instrument, I will perform the OPTIMAL tuning for your specific piano.

What do I mean by that?

Unlike most other instruments, you cannot simply tune a piano to an even tempered scale using a standard tuning device. Since piano strings vibrate in a somewhat unique way, pianos require what is known as a «stretch» tuning, i.e. the bottom strings will have to be lower and the higher strings a bit sharp.

How much lower? And how much sharp? That depends on YOUR instrument. Until recently, the optimal «stretch» for every piano was either not determined or took a professional very long to establish (making it a very expensive service).

Thanks to the latest software developments, I can determine the perfect «stretch» for your piano on my first tuning session and give it a perfect tuning.
