I had curtains made for my living room a couple of weeks ago and the quality and attention to details was fantastic. We had to make a couple of adjustment and they were so easy and eager to fix it for us until it was perfect.

Laura at Pacific Coast Draperies has done all the blinds and drapes for my home, and I have been very pleased. She has a good eye for detail and color and uses quality products. I have received many compliments on my blinds and linen drapes, which were made by hand at her local workshop. You might save a bit of money using a large chain store on line and by doing the installation yourself, but I much prefer to shop locally, deal with a friendly and experienced human being who does her own estimates and installation. Laura came to measure my house for shades on 6⁄27 (a Saturday, which I really appreciated), and said she’d send me an estimate for shades and draperies in a few days. After not hearing from her, I sent her an email on day 5. No response, and that was 4 days ago (acknowledging that the holiday weekend did intervene, but apparently there are other customers she saw and serviced between when she came to see my house and now). Laura seemed very nice and helpful at the time — too bad she couldn’t be bothered to send me an estimate, or even an email acknowledging she had promised one.

After desperate search for perfect curtains and shopping for prices and customer service at other locations, I finally came across to this store. First I called Laura, it seemed like the shop was closed, but she was so kind after hearing my story she actually told me she will go there for me. That already have me a great impression of customer service.
When I arrived she was very warm and welcoming, she listened to my directions, she gave her advise, we came up with the perfect measurements and idea for my curtains. The most amazing part is, unlike other places where they told me it is hard and will take long, Laura actually said she got it and it can be done by the end of the day! How awesome is she.
I will definitely from now on only visit her if anything needs to be made and designed.

California weather is so unpredictable, and as a nocturnal nurse I always need to be sure is that i get a good day’s rest. however I had been recommended to several places, but they never seemed to have what I needed to fit my needs. Many places i had gone into had outrageous prices for fabrics or they were only open on weekdays from 9 – 5.
I came over to Pacific Coast draperies and Laura recommended that I get some blackout shades. At first I didn’t know what that was, but she explained to me in detail what they are and how they help keep the light out and they’re very good at keeping the house cool during the hot weather.
I have two large sliding doors in my bedroom balcony and I wasn’t sure if that was going to cost me a lot of money. She showed me a variety of styles and I decided to get some blackout shades installed to keep the light out and some draperies on top to keep my place looking stylish as well.
Luckily she works weekends so I was able to get my blackout shades and draperies installed on the weekend; my work schedule wouldn’t allow me to get them installed any other day.
You have no idea how glad and relieved I feel after getting these installed in my bedroom, because for once… In a very long time, I can actually get some sleep during the day and not have to worry about how much sunlight is going through the sliding doors in my bedroom preventing me from getting sleep.
I would highly recommend this type of window treatment to anyone who likes to keep their place cool, stylish, and excessive light from coming inside.

When I needed custom-​made draperies for my living room, I asked Laura of Pacific Coast Draperies to come to my house and give me a bid. She had an impressive array of fabrics to choose from, and her pricing was about on par with that of her competitors.
From start to finish, Laura was easy to work with. The project was completed sooner that I’d anticipated, and she was very flexible in terms of accommodating my busy schedule. I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the initial installation, but Laura bent over backwards to return in good time to make everything just right, and make it right she did.
Laura was also very good about communicating before and during the project, which isn’t always the case when one deals with vendors of this sort.
Overall, I had an excellent experience and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again.

We had a vague idea of what we wanted but we needed someone to work within our budget and that’s when we came across Laura from Pacific Coast draperies.
Laura was very communicative and listened to our special needs, she showed us a variety or fabrics and styles. That’s when we felt we could trust her expertise and ordered our matching bedspread and draperies.
After a very few weeks we had our home designed by someone who shows compassion and integrity.

Laura is fantastic. We used her services in the summer of 2014 to make a custom bedspread, matching drapes, pillow cases and curtains. The bedspread is two sided, with different (yet matching) materials on each side. Laura made recommendations and worked with us every step of the way. Her knowledge in the area of design is matched by her excellent work with a sewing machine.
Laura herself is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is polite and friendly, yet gets directly to work, quotes quickly and accurately and gets the information that she needs to produce quality results.

We ordered draperies several years ago through a deal on Mamapedia. I was initially a bit disappointed by the selection of colors for the fabric type I wanted, but it has been several years now, and I am very happy with the quality and wear of my drapes. They do indeed help alleviate the heat coming in through my southerly facing windows, they have not show any type of wear, and they function well. I would order them again.

Oh my gosh – Laura is awesome! We needed window treatments for our living room and Laura helped us find the perfect drapes. She suggested lining them with a black out material which has helped keep the heat out and she installed the drapes with skill and speed. We will recommend Pacific Coast to anyone and everyone who needs window treatments. Laura has a wonderful bedside manner, too. She gave us great advice! We couldn’t be happier!!!

Pacific Coast Draperies did a fine job for us. We had wood blinds installed in our kitchen nook and bamboo pull-​down shades installed in our den. The customer service, product quality and installation left us as very satisfied customers and we would use them again. This is a small shop and we like doing business with local business owners who deal with personal services at a reasonable and fair price. One great service they provide is custom sewing. We had a bolt of fabric we wanted to use for our guest bedroom. Pacific Coast Draperies made a quilted bedspread, bed skirt, 2 shams, 4 custom pillows and 2 sets of valances that turned out spectacular. The attention to detail and centering the fabric pattern demonstrates the high quality of craftsmanship. We also didn’t have to pay an arm & leg for this high quality service. Remember, this is a small shop that provides quality service at a fair price and is not a huge interior design service with inflated prices.

I am really mad at Unilocal.I know this client, and have worked with her. She is great. I saw two great reviews posted by REAL CUSTOMERS of Pacific Coast Drapery that I know (I actually talked to these customers and verified their reviews with them personally) and Unilocal got rid of them after a week or two. The only ones they kept were the negative reviews. How can we get any kind of real response if all you do is keep the negative reviews? Unilocal,are you listening???

I found this company through on of those daily deal places (Mamapedia) and was excited to have them come to my house, as I have two small children, and install the two window coverings which I purchased through the deal.
The woman came over — completely unaware of the terms her company had agreed to for this deal. She showed me five books of the ugliest fabric choices I’ve ever seen. I settled on two for the two windows that were at least presentable, if not ideal. She wrote up her invoice, again, unaware of the deal terms, and tried to charge me $ 1000 to cover two (small) windows with drapes and a rod (no finial even, window space too small).
I told her the terms of the deal I had bought and she promised to look into it and call me. She never called. She never returned my calls.
This business is unprofessional. Their product choices are ugly. And they don’t adhere to the commitments to which they previously agreed. They won’t last, look elsewhere.
