I was fortunate to be referred to Opulent Remodeling & Construction to do a major remodeling project on my home. This consisted of completely re-​doing the existing house as well as adding an addition over the garage.
All work done by Opulent was top quality and they were a pleasure to deal with.
As other reviewers have mentioned — this is a family run business and Robert & Taline are wonderful people to deal with.
Robert is extremely knowledgable and a real problem solver. Taline is a joy to be around and just radiates positive energy.
All their workers were professional and respectful and made the whole process as smooth as possible.
The results are outstanding and I am more than pleased!

This is a family owned business that takes pride in their work. They are very responsive, professional and, unlike other contractors we’ve worked with, they show up on time and promptly return calls. They finished our large kitchen and laundry room remodel in only 5 weeks and I cannot fault them on a single item — and they are very nice people. Opulent Construction is a first class, Grade A, Elite Construction and Renovation business. They are professional and helped me realize the house of my dreams. Opulent remodels homes in Beverly Hills and many other Los Angeles locations and the results are absolutely stunning. My kitchen is breathtaking and everyone who sees it agrees. Here is my story:
My family and I moved to the Los Angeles area from Dallas, Texas. After a nine month house search, we finally found a great house in a great location that needed a lot of renovation. Our house is about 2800 square feet and we needed to renovate the entire first floor, about one half the size of the house.
We hired Robert and Taline after we had a great meeting about my vision. The carpets were removed from the living room. Hardwood, and a surprise layer of linoleum were removed from the kitchen. Old kitchen cabinets and countertops were demolished and removed. After many meetings, we agreed on a style and layout of custom cabinets for the kitchen and the dining room. We also agreed to white quartz countertops and white cabinets. We bought Thermadore professional appliances and Robert made sure the cabinets and countertops were the perfect counterpart to the appliances.
The entire first floor was covered with beautiful distressed dark wood which is a beautiful contrast to the white cabinets in the kitchen.
Taline was always available to answer questions and assure quality control. Robert has a great crew (the same crew each day) that are very professional and courteous to the homeowners. Whenever it is time for me to renovate the other half of my house, I will only call Opulent Construction.
No one else is allowed to touch my house. They are simply the best there is.

A super company. Run by husband and wife team, Robert and Taline, Opulent is outstanding when it comes to construction and remodeling. Robert is one of the most knowledgable contractors I know and completely hands on in ensuring each inch of our project was completed to our liking and specification. My husband and I both work long hours and after the planning stages, were able to trust Opulent with executing the entire project smoothly and on time. They were always around, responsive and more importantly, willing and able to correct things, deciding excellent solutions when unanticipated issues arose. Moreover their pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny for the expertise. They cared — while they had several other larger projects to attend to but gave our small bathroom remodel just as much TLC and finished on time as promised. Their workers were friendly, very courteous, clean and efficient. Robert personally came to supervise and check on work nearly every day. We are super happy with our new bathroom and will definitely be using them again on our next project.

I would recommend them without a second thought. They are reliable, professional and very nice people to work with and above all, they do top notch work.

Short Ver: Robert and Taline are super friendly! (feel like your family & friend). Even thou they are on HGTV, they still help small house to make the dreams come true. They help me remodel my whole house within budget range. And the whole process is very efficient — I never have to wait on them. When they find out stuff was broken under the foundation they fix for me without any extra charge. Also they still come back after a month for any extra work need to be adjusted. You can feel they give 100% from their heart to help you reach the goal you want. I would say it’s lucky to have them as my contractor & highly recommend everyone to contact them for any construction/​remodel.
Long Ver: So we have a house in Pasadena, built in 1924, with a very bad condition. Floor made a lot of cracking sound and the roof collapsed 2 times in the past. ‘Cuz we had a very limited amount of budges, we contacted several (more than 5) contractors to see what they can help. We worked with Opulent Remodeling & Construction, Inc in the end, not because they offered the lowest price (they are the 2ND LOWEST of all,) but we felt they are very friendly and easy to communicate. Taline was very friendly and always thinking on our side. Robert was very easy to communicate. And their crew was very friendly, efficient & professional.
We basically remodeled the whole house (whole new kitchen & bathroom), rebuilt the roof & garage roof, changed the floor, installed new Central Air Conditioning & custom cabinets, and patched several broken parts. The best part is when they found out broken stuff underneath, they won’t charge for the fix! — depend on how serious damaged. For example, during the construction, they found out the central beam under my foundation was broken. Robert was very kind to fix it without us paying any $ !!! (How awesome is that!!) And they even worked on the price to reach all the goals with high quality — the whole project ended up very close to our budge. The project finished within only 4 months — cuz they always on time and on schedule for the most of part. Even more, I personally felt Robert work from his heart trying to help me with anything he could! (You can tell he really loves to help people reach their dream house!) Even after a month of finishing construction, I can still call back to ask any question. And any construction that need to be adjusted, they will come back to fix it for free.
Yes! Again, I would proudly say they are hands down the best contractor ever! I was lucky to have them remodeling my house. Thank you Opulent for making my dream house come true!

I used Opulent Remodeling and Construction for two large jobs. They put a new roof on our 4000sq foot home, as well as the pool house and triple garage. All done to perfection. The owner was extremely professional, knowledgeable, detail oriented, thorough and the crew was equally impressive.
