I absolutely love this nail salon. The staff is very friendly and honest! They are also perfectionists and do a perfect job every time !
The salon is very clean and up to date. They have several colors to chose from, great selections and great quality nail polish.
I usually get a mani pedi and also acrylic. Their work lasts a long time. I love going here I always feel so welcome and pampered.
I recently tried SNS nails that is new not gel or acrylic and it is amazing !! Your nail stays salon perfect for a long time.

I would highly recommend this salon for any service with the major exception of eyelash extensions. My friend and I decided to go there one afternoon and she was very happy with her mani-pedi…I decided to have my legs waxed as well as get eyelash extensions. The wax was very thorough and well-​priced, BUT the eyelash extensions took forever and were extremely painful during the application and afterwards. I had to patch my eye with a bandage before going into work the next day and it was the most painful workday ever. Lesson learned! I had to go to the ophthalmologist the same day to have some of the lashes removed and get antibiotic drops because some of the extensions were rubbing on my eyes… SO PAINFUL! The salon staff is friendly and professional EXCEPT when it comes to fake eyelashes!

awful job, no hygiene, so messy, they cut my finger and it really hurts, I got manicure and pedicure and i am not happy with them !! Will never go back and Im not recomending it to anyone!

The best place for a mani pedi in Glendale. Very nice and not your typical nail salon where they are mean. Love coming here

After paying $ 32 for a spa gel pedicure, not only is the work messy, she scratched my toe. It hurts to walk. I don’t understand how hard it is to do a decent job.
The nail lady began her pedicure and it was decent since I enjoyed the massage. However, my skin is sensitive. Although I loved a rough massage, I can NOT endure a rough scrub. I get pedicures frequently and take care of my feet. Therefore, I don’t need to be scrubbed that rough, let alone left with an infected scratch that hurts.
True, service was great, but you can’t build a good business by just providing decent customer service. If you dare return, please make sure to tell them to do a good job. If you rely on them, they’ll do a mediocre job because they really don’t care about the well being of your body.

This is a good Nail Salon, they have a wide variety of polishes and colors. They do amazing Pedicures especially Ben, just make sure to get the spa pedicure. I’m not sure what the other pedicure is but they do it in a bucket or some sort and, I’ve never seen it done that way. Being from NYC it’s a decent salon.

Love them, this is my spot to go. Kaylee is the best, she takes good care and time to do whatever she’s doing be perfect. Waxing, mani, pedi’s you name it she’ll take the best care of you, and she’s super sweet. They’ve got great prices on mani/​pedi deals and waxings are cheap too.

I have tried 3 different places for my nails and I think im going to stick to this place, kevin the manager is very nice polite and does amazing job, i had jenny this time she is new to the place but she was nice and she did her job well, kevin did a 3D flower on my nail which i love and looks really cute, the place is comfortable not too busy and not too fancy you feel like home and I don’t mind if they talk in their language, its not a big deal, anyway I like this place.

The man who did my nails did an awesome job. I asked for an almond/​coffin shape and he perfected it. At other nail salons they either make it to wide at the end or too pointy. I don’t know why I ever go to different nail salons. Nails by Us knows how you want your nails to look and they make sure you are completely satisfied with your nails. They are all also very polite and they don’t rush.

Over the phone I had been told 30 mins kevin will be available and I walked in 30 mins later and noticed he was still working on the client. So I said how much longer? He told me I have 4 more clients when I was told 30 min. I asked that over the phone he said I have 30 mins to be done I said why didn’t you tell me you had 4 waiting and he looked at me dumbfounded. He didn’t want to tell me he was busy just incase he can get one more client in. Do not give me an estimated time when your estimation is completely off. I have been mistreated more than once here. Last time he gave me away to another co worker to fix a broken nail when he knows I only go to him. If your workers are not busy it’s not my problem I specifically ask for Kevin and if you give someone a time when you will be free you can’t have 4 more clients waiting out of nowhere.
If you rely on an appointment do not come here you will be ignored

Today, I was in Glendale and I had a mani-​pedi emergency. My favorite mani — pedi Spa on Broadway and Jackson was booked at noon, so I figure I would give Nails by US the benefit of the doubt… Bad idea!
The business place is conveniently located near The Americana; however, it’s not a welcoming place where a lady would like to relax while getting pampered.
The place is very dusty, magazines are unorganized, the chairs are uncomfortable and a little beat up.
I paid $ 23 (regular mani-​pedi) + $ 13 (gel) + 7 (callus remover) + $ 1 to use my debit card. The tech didn’t even tell me she was charging an extra dollar, ok $ 44. The quality of the work is average. Over priced for barely average work, obsolete furniture and ambience. The radio station was loud and listening to radio commercials was not helping me to relax.
I am very well aware a regular mani & pedi cost about $ 25-​$ 30 but it includes the Spa pedicure and the place is clean and welcoming. Many places offer a little discount on Mondays. I didn’t choose the Spa pedi because the Spa chairs are obsolete, dirty and unappealing (not worth the extra $ 5)
The pedi tech did what most techs would do, offer to help put your sandals on so the pedi doesn’t get ruin or get the nail polish all over my pretty sandals… well, she did just the opposite and smeared two toe nails all over my Italian suede sandals!
Although the pedi tech apologized for her mistake; she also blamed me for it!!! The manager only apologized but did not offer to remove the pedi bill.
I didn’t ask to remove the pedi cost. I didn’t ask for a discount. I didn’t complain. I paid and tipped 15% but I will never, ever come back!

This was a spur of the moment pedi. The shop was conveniently located near a Starbucks, my first stop. I was greeted immediately and asked what I needed. I was given the choice of regular pedi or spa for $ 18. I jumped at the spa pedi considering it’s $ 10 more where I go in the Bay Area. My gal was great spending time on my «captain hooks» as my Mom calls them. I felt bad because I didn’t shave, oh well. All in all this is a good place, well worth the price!

Walked in got asked what I wanted they told me to choose a color fast & SIMPLE !

Walked in, immediately seated and was serviced with a gorgeous blue gel manicure. So happy! And only $ 25.00!

Got took care of by Kevin. Very polite. Offered great service. Made sure I liked it as he was doing my full set. First time here, not from the area, they take walk ins. Place can be a little nicer but overall, really liked it.

I just walked out so angry. I had a 6:30 appointment with Kevin and Hon; however hon took a customer at 6:30 and when I complained Kevin said he couldn’t not accommodate. Plus the gel they put on my nails seem to be coming off only after a week?

Horrible horrible horrible service. I wish I could give this place no stars. I went in with my friend we were seated the guy starts working on my nails and gets up and starts working on the other girls. Like seriously?! If this guy knew he had an appointment coming then why the hell did he start working on me? He could of told me he had an appointment coming and I could of waited it was THAT simple. I walked out because I was furious. And now I have to go to work tomorrow with my nails looking like shit. Thank you nails by us!!! You guys fucking suck.

Spoiler alert: The moral of this story is that you should always carry cash with you.
So I parked in the parking structure behind Nails By Us, only I didn’t notice the CASH ONLY sign when I came in. When I tried to exit the structure, they directed me across the street to an ATM, so I could pay the 1.50 I owed. It had been a great morning so far, had met up with friends, light brunch at Sabz & Olive; so okay, I wasn’t going to make a fuss. As I walked down Brand, I noticed Nails By Us had an ATM inside and I also saw they advertised eyebrow threading. I had also been looking for a new threading place, so I figured, let’s give this a try.
It had been a few weeks since my last threading, but not so long that my eyebrows had completely outgrown their carefully manicured shape. They brought me in right away, which I thought was a good sign.
However, they did not have a specific threading chair. Instead, the threader had me lie down in the waxing room– a room lit by a fluorescent light on the ceiling. (Note: NO close-​up lighting, no pillow to move my head up, there was no way for the threader to see my eyebrows up close).
The threader asked me, «just clean up?» I confirmed: «Yes please, just clean up.» Somehow, she took that to mean something else. After a few minutes, she called in another threader. They worked on my eyebrows simultaneously. I started to feel a little uncomfortable, because they might not end up with the same results; but I rationalized to myself, ‘they’re just cleaning up the outgrown hairs’.
After 15 minutes, the original threader left, and the second threader put a mirror in front of me, only for me to find two UNEVEN PENCIL THIN EYEBROWS that I refused to recognize as my own. I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say. There was no way to fix them except to comb my bangs over so that no one would see them until they grew back.
I paid my $ 10 and ran. Yes, I paid dearly for not having cash on me that morning.
Maybe I should have taken a hint from the business name, but I won’t be returning to try their nail services; and my baby brows are currently hiding behind my fringe, betrayed and suspicious of all things string.

Not a terrible spot if you’re in a fix for a quick and cheap manicure. I was heading through town en route to a wedding in a different state so I used my Unilocal app to find an affordable manicure place close to me. $ 10 isn’t bad in my book!
I was a walk-​in and they took me right away (there was only 1 other customer in the store who was getting a pedicure). There were about 5 – 6 staff hanging out in the back, socializing, and one gentleman who appeared to be balancing the books.
It is a long, narrow space with manicure stations on the left, pedicure stations on the right, and small massage rooms in the back. The equipment wasn’t the best I’ve ever seen in my life, but it was clean.
The color selection was very decent but disorganized — the same colors were not grouped together. I didn’t have any language barriers like people in other reviews but the woman who took care of me was just quiet in general, and very polite.
I was happy with the outcome and tipped well. If I happen to live in the state, I’d consider going back — but nothing in particular really wowed me.

I am usually walking out the door satisfied from this place.
My manicure and pedicure would have been 20 dallors however, I had to get a color change. Even though the girls (who did my pedicure and manicure) knew the color wasn’t appealing and working properly they decided to talk amongst each other in their language. I asked to get a color change at the end I was charged 8 dallors more for that. I was annoyed because, the girls even called it an «ugly style». It was embarrassing and unprofessional. If they knew the Polish wasn’t working properly or looked appealing then they should have communicated with me instead of being «immature high school girls». I was ready to walk out with no nail polish. But, the lady who did my manicure insisted I choose a color.
When I tipped them 5 dallors each they were mad!
C’mon!
