Metropol Banquet

I recently had my wedding at the Metropol in the Millenium ballroom for 150 people and I could not have imagined it being any better than it was! Edgar did a fantastic job from start to finish, everything was extremely organized and worked out perfectly. All my guests said how they loved the food and the venue itself was beautiful. I highly recommend here for any special events and weddings; the food, venue, size, and price was great!

I was a guest at Metropol last week for a wedding and all I have to say is that I had the best time. And the food… It was AMAZING! The waiters were very attentive and the manager (the older man) was SUPER NICE to all the guests and to the waiters. Everything went well and smooth thanks to the amazing management!
The lighting of the venue and design was very modern and beautiful. You can tell that the management of Metropol are perfectionists as the design (inside and out) is made with the utmost detail and attention and the food is made with the highest quality.
Metropol is, without a doubt, the greatest banquet hall in LA. Highly recommended for any event!

There’s a reason why this banquet hall has 5 star reviews, it’s just the best! My daughter fell in love with this place when she checked it out and chose to have her Wedding here in the Millenium Ballroom. Very modern ballroom with great lighting and white dance floor and all the amenities you need. We got great compliments from our guests about the delicious and plentiful food. Edgar was a fantastic Manager and helped to make the day just perfect!

I am a wedding coordinator for Pursue Love Design Company and I was able to work with Edgar and his team for a wedding in August 2015. Edgar and his team did an amazing job! From the first venue walkthrough to the wedding day, Edgar and his team were professional, excellent in customer service and communication and every detail was executed perfectly. Edgar was very attentive to all the details, very accommodating and assisted us with all our questions, making sure the wedding day ran smoothly with everything to décor, food, wedding day details and service. The venue is beautifully decorated with beautiful lighting and every detail for the wedding day is taken care of from a gorgeous setup for the cocktail hour to reception. This venue and Edgar and his staff are highly recommended and I would highly recommend their services to any of my wedding clients in the future!

My husband and I are beyond happy to have chosen the Metropol for our big day. This hall stole our hearts the minute we walked in to check it out, it’s majestic and beautiful. All our guests were speechless at how beautiful the hall is. On the other side Edgar is THE BEST! He helped us so much from day one until the wedding day, he’s very understanding and very reliable, which is something that is priceless to any bride. We couldn’t be happier!

About 3 weeks ago we attended a wedding of our friend at Metropol. The venue was amazing, food was delicious except a salad which was not fresh and it smelled bad. Anyways, we told the server, that we had an issue. The server seemed very nice guy as he took care of our table very good. He said he would talk to his manager. The manager was an old man in his 70s. With his broken English (I don’t know how he can manage a enormous restaurant with his English,), he told us that the salad is fine, nothing is wrong with it. And he told us, how is that possible when nobody is not complaining but us only. However, we were very upset with this man’s attitude towards us, on top of that we noticed that he was giving hard time to our server who was watching our table. I just want to say, that we are very pleased with the servers as we noticed their hard work with those heavy trays and plates, and they were very nice to us. But as far as goes with the «manager», I feel very sorry for the servers. And I would like to thank that server who did an amazing job while being under the pressure of that old man.

This banquet hall surpassed all of my expectations for the perfect place to host a celebration! I cannot say enough good things about everything at Metropol. I loveee how attentive and professional my experience was with this hall. Hrach was a exceptionally professional and helpful, and we couldn’t be happier. The décor is elegant, chic, amazing, classic, modern, beautiful. The service is absolutely amazing, and the food, oh my gosh, the FOOD! I am still dreaming over all the amazing tasting food they served during our celebration. That chi kufta, WOW! Everything tasted great. One of the best banquet halls for a big celebration. I can’t wait to be invited back here as a guest so I can eat more of that delicious, fresh food. Thank you Hrach for helping us and for being on top of everything on that day to make sure everything went well. Loveeee Metropol. :)

Had my wedding here 2 years ago. It was beautiful, they made us feel like royalty. It was a dream. Everyone loved food and it was new at the time and jo one had been, so made it that much better. Thanks again. Memories of this place will always live on. I always stare as I pass by. Lol

My husband and I had our wedding in July in the Modern Ballroom. We saw over 10 venues before we decided on Metropol. The venue is very beautiful while being affordable. Edgar was very easy to work with, and always available. The food was flawless, specially the beef stroganoff, which months later my guests still comment on. Edgar was very helpful with all steps of the wedding, and did his best to accommodate our restricted budget. The venue itself is very pretty and the fact that they allow you to bring your own alcohol definitely helps save some money. I DEFINITELY suggest this place to anyone planning a wedding, and make sure you ask for Edgar to get the best service. I would give this place and Edgar more stars if it was possible!

My wife and I are thrilled to have chosen Metropol banquet for our special day! (We had the Millennium Ballroom.) This place is fancy and really nice. We couldn’t be more thankful with Edgar and his team! From the day we booked till the day of our Wedding Edgar was on top of everything. The food was amazing and there was enough for everyone to have seconds or even thirds. Through out our whole wedding he (Edgar) was there checking that everything was coming out great. Everything came perfect, we couldn’t have ask for something better. I’m coming back here for our 25^th anniversary!

Very beautiful hall for any events. The sound system and lightening was very modern. The overall design is very modern and expensive place. The security service was good too. The food selection was very nice, only bbq was not enough small portions.

I had my wedding at Metropol Millenium room on 2÷15÷15. Edgar and his team worked with me from start to finish. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. We got so many compliments about the food and how intimate and beautiful the wedding was. The price was very reasonable, seriously can’t be beaten for what we had! Edgar always tried to accommodate us and you really feel like he’s there to help. The only complaints we had from that night was the valet parking. Some guest had paid for their car and was told that their car is managed by the valet people in the front. But when they went to get their car in the front they were trying to charge them again insisting that they never paid. Another mentioned that they drove the cars pretty fast like they didn’t seem to take care of their car. Just small issues tho. Overall, I WOULD HAVE MY WEDDING HERE IN A HEART BEAT AGAIN!

We just had our Wedding Reception here on June 28^th. It was amazing, and we got a ton of compliments on the service, the food, and the décor! We were in the Millennium Ballroom which is fantastic. Throughout the process, Hrach and Edgar were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much for Everything! We highly recommend this venue! You must come take a look at it, and meet the team.

Our wedding was a couple of weeks ago and Metropol was the perfect venue for our reception. The elegant hanging chandeliers, awesome lighting, dance floor and stages create a beautiful ambiance in the Millenium ballroom!
The food was delicious and all of our guests really enjoyed the abundance of all of the tasty food. The entire staff was very nice, accommodating, and attentive to all of our guests’ needs. Hrach was a pleasure to work with. He made sure everything went smoothly and that everything was taken care of during the reception.
Edgar was an integral component in making our special day exactly what we had envisioned! He went above and beyond by helping us with all of the little details! He was always there to answer my many questions and made himself available to us whenever a need arose. Edgar was an absolute pleasure to work with!!!

I worked with Edgar throughout the year and he was so awesome!!! He ALWAYS responded to the millions of emails I would send super quickly. He is extremely knowledgeable about the rooms and knew the answers to all my questions right on the spot! He was always flexible with meeting with me and allowing us to see the room multiple times in the year. The venue is just so beautiful and elegant. The food was delicious and all of our guests were astounded by it. =) The service was great and all the staff were friendly.

I have attended many weddings and business meetings in banquets across Los Angeles. I had amazing time at the wedding and the service provided. The service was amazing as the weather was little rainy and certainly less than perfect conditions for parking on the afternoon of the party. The valet attendants did a AMAZING wonderful job. The Valet Parking Attendants were very attentive To the guest and our cars due to the weather conditions. The manager was at the scene and noticed one the guest was not safe to drive, so he refused the keys and took care the situation very professionally. I was very happy with the overall experience, From the Staff at the MetroPol to unseen Parking Valet Service !!!

My event planning team and I have coordinated two events at this Venue, Edgar has always been accommodating to my staff and clients. Thank you Metropol, looking forward to our next event!
