MenEssentials is an awesome place! The concept is genius! Great job Greg!
I go there for my haircuts and shaves and they do an incredible job. I never thought I could look better, but Greg and his team have proved me wrong. It’s definitely worth checking out. They have a wide array of products and there’s no doubt in my mind any man would love going there. To be fair, it’s also a great place for ladies to buy gifts for their men. I don’t want chocolate or flowers, get me some beard oil!
If you don’t live in Glendale, don’t fret, check out their online store where they have even more products and accessories.
Anyways, I’m gonna go back and look at myself and my awesome beard (Thanks Kelly! You’re the man!)

I have been to this store several time because it a great place to pick up many of the brands and products I know and love. Plus there are so few places I guy can feel comfortable.
This store is my kind of place, it’s a real man cave, a guy zone if you will. I have always enjoyed shaving with my classic shaving tools, the old school way is definitely the better way. Here I can come get my time and test brands that I have used for years like a double edge safety razor hand made in Germany or my favorite Japanese straight razor. Plus they carry a wide selection of shaving soaps, creams, and lotions from around the world. Not to mentioned the beautiful leather goods and men’s accessories.
I cannot say enough good things about the staff, I have meet them all on my several visits and they are product knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and they seem to always laugh at my jokes but more importantly they get my sense of humour! I will definitely be back soon to see what new and existing item I can add to my grooming routine. I highly recommend this store so come see it for yourself.

Love this shop! I passed by one day and knew I had to come in since I’m keeping and maintaining a beard for some time. Came in on a Sunday and was immediately warmly greeted by Sasoon, and helped with my situation. He was super knowledgeable about what my wants and needs were, and what products are essential! He also managed to teach me a lot about the different products they offer, their uses, and how I can better groom my beard, and take care of it. He also helped me with tips on my hair as well, and found some Layrite to be the right solution. To be honest, the best part was being able to talk to someone so helpful and encouraging, rather than simply trying to push products on me. Sasoon was such a great help and I will most definitely be back for all my grooming needs, because it’s nice to feel welcome at a shop that appreciates your business, as well as really finding you what you’re looking for. You guys rock! Thanks for being in my area and being awesome!

Mens essentials is an amazing shop to buy all of your men’s grooming items. I went in looking for a beard brush and I did not want to leave. Greg, the owner is super friendly and awesome and he gives you lots of information about what you’re looking for. He does not try to get one up on you or do you wrong. He only wants to sell you what you need and what’s best for your needs. I was looking to buy a packet of blades for my shavette and when o decided to buy one, instead he gifted me a set of samples for me to try and decide which I liked best. I left the store wanting to come back the next day, feeling like a kid at toys r us.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. From a friendly and knowledgeable staff to a wide variety of quality products, Men’s Essentials has everything essential to feeling like a man (hence the name). Stop by and check out the beard oils if anything!

Top notch service from Greg and his team who don’t just greet you at the door and leave you hanging, instead, they will walk you around and explain not only the details of the products they sell but also guide you about the proper process of giving yourself the ultimate, traditional shave.
Bottom Line: No one else carries the amount of product as they do where you’ll be able walk in, touch and see without having to take a guess and ordering online especially if you’re just starting out in traditional double/​straight-​edge shaving. They also carry a huge assortment of other men’s grooming supplies that are non-​shave related for hair, body, skin, etc.
If you are new to this level of men’s grooming, do not feel intimidated, go in and ask questions. If you are seasoned, you should definitely check out their amazing product selection.
As a guy, man, gentleman, scholar, etc., we owe ourselves, at the very minimum, the best shave possible because once you step up to this level, it becomes a hobby vs. a chore.

Who said male grooming isn’t important? I did, that’s who. I’d let my hair get shaggy, get the face stubble going, would not clip my nails regularly, etc… Cologne? No way, I don’t have BO. Then my wife brought me here and explained a few things. You know what — she’s is right (painful to admit) — male grooming is important. So I have news for you guys, women like a well groomed man. But it goes well beyond that. What we are really talking about is personal hygiene — so important to our own well being is looking and feeling good. You can exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, (I do both) etc… but if you don’t have good hygiene you just are not going to feel as good as you can, nor get the attention you deserve. People spend so much time and money on healthier foods, gyms, and leave out personal hygiene products and services that are just as important to ones well being. This place has everything you need to keep you at your best. Products and services are top notch. Pay them a visit and you too will become a regular.

I hit the barber shop for a shave cause i enjoy the sedate, quiet frankly i thought my purchase will compromise my time out, It turned out the opposite it brought that personal time home.
I called Greg and he recommended the set i bought among the overwhelming amount of creams, soaps, fragrances, razors and other supplies he was able the put the right package together and have it delivered within 2 business days.
