Mark J Pak, DDS

Dr. Pak is hands down the best doctor my wife & I ever met. We only wish that we had met much earlier. We are truly grateful of Dr. Pak & his super nice staffs for caring of our complicated implant procedures. Pricey, heck no! At 50+ years old, we know what true cost of implants can run into. He only uses the finest Swiss products at fraction of what others charge. His office is truly customer oriented rather than for his personal gain.

I was referred to Dr. Pak by another doctor and went in for a consultation (which is not free by the way) for an implant now I had already had a failed implant so I made sure to explain that to the front office and the doctor and I made my concerns very well known that I was nervous about getting another implant put in but the doctor did spend his time going over everything with me and he said even though there are no guaranties my implant would be successful, there is a very high chance it won’t fail if we did bone grafting. My biggest disappointment was the front office because they told me they would contact my insurance and give me a break down of my costs however after not hearing from them I called and it seemed as if it was impossible to get a hold of the girl who was working on my paperwork and the frustrating part was that I kept calling and following up when I told them how quickly I wanted to get this done was but they didn’t seem to care. The doctor seemed great but extremely pricey. The last time I talked to the front desk they were suppose to call me for a final price so that I can go in but I never heard back. The staff was extremely unprofessional and careless when it comes to meeting the needs of the patients.

Dr Pak and his staff were truly remarkable on so many levels. He is informative, calm, and extremely friendly. i went in totally petrified of implants with zero expectations. dr pak educated me from start to finish and throughout the entire process, i felt confident in his abilities to follow through on all that he set to accomplish. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in and or outside of his neck of the woods as the drive is well worth what you get stepping out of his facility.

Dr. Mark J. Pak and his staff are AWESOME!!! My dentist, Dr. Brian Cho, referred me to him. I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist, but now I actually look forward to my appointments with him. He did my deep cleaning, tooth extraction, bone graft, and implant placement.
For many years, my gums were in the worst condition– they were swollen, inflamed, sensitive, and bled nonstop when I brushed and flossed. I couldn’t even chew, brush, or floss without crying in pain. I finally reached a point where I just couldn’t put it off any longer. Thankfully, Dr. Pak put an end to my misery. After the deep cleaning, all those problems disappeared and now my gums are the healthiest it’s ever been. I still can’t believe in the dramatic improvements! Because of these incredible results, I knew I was in great hands and knew I could trust him to do an amazing job with all my other procedures. And he did!
Initially, I was worried about the pain due to traumatic experiences I’ve had in the past with other dentists, but Dr. Pak always reassured me that he will never start a procedure until I was completely numb. He never hesitated to add more anesthesia if needed. He is extremely patient and understanding.
I honestly have never felt so relaxed and comfortable at a dentist office. Sometimes I really feel like I’m at a spa. I think it’s a combination of his soft tone of voice, classical music playing in the background, super comfortable reclining chairs, and window views of the Foothill mountains and trees. The bathroom is beautifully decorated with luxurious finishes and accents. Everything in his office is immaculate.
Hopefully my gums and teeth will stay healthy for a long time. But if I ever need another major procedure done in the future, Dr. Pak will be my #1 choice. In the meantime, I will continue to refer him to my friends if they need a periodontist. I already referred one of my coworkers to him.

Dr Pak and his staff are the real deal! I came to them by a referral from another dentist and I was very happy with every step of the procedure. They are thorough, professional, attentive and want you to be as informed on the process as possible, which i found refreshing. Answered every question /​concern I had and made me feel very relaxed knowing I was in competent hands. On the esthetics side of things I also found the view of the green mountain ridge from every window calming leading up to, during and after the work. I would recommend to family friends and Unilocalers too.

This guy is great. If you need a specialist, he is your man. He takes the time to make sure everything is done right. He is also very helpful and answers all your questions.

Dr, Pak and I spent a lot of time together — I did an implant on my front tooth.
This required extraction of the old tooth, a denture (flipper), a bone/​graft, the actual implant, and some sculpting of the gumline. The implant crown was done by Dr. Ho (my dentist, who referred me to Dr. Pak).
This was done over the course of a few months (to allow healing) and every interaction with him and his office was a pleasant as possible (given it is dental work, right?).
He is knowledgeable and skilled, but what I did like is is attention to detail and his commitment to doing it right. I never felt like he was rushing to get it done so he could move on to the next person.
An implant is not cheap — but doing it wrong will cost you a lot more than just money. He was not the most expensive, nor the least, but I did not want to trust my mouth and health to a discount dentist with an cheapo ad in the paper. I am glad I went to Dr Pak, and I would go again.
It has been just about a year since the final part (implant crown) and all has been perfect.

I went to Dr. Pak to get my wisdom teeth removed. I was pleasently surprised by my experience. Dr. Pak and his staff were extremely welcoming and the office was beautiful and warm unlike most dental offices that look too much like operating rooms. Dr. Pak’s needle work is very gental and I hardly felt the injections which honestly the worst part. All in all my experience at this office was great and I trust Dr. Pak.

Best dentist ever! He is amazing, and so is his entire team. The whole office falls under the category of nicest people I have ever met. He says I have a «high pain threshhold» but I think he is just really skilled. Of a whole bottle of pain killers I took two, and I was fine. I’ve been to alot of dentists/​peridodontists/​etc and I really think his office is the only one I look forward to going to. P. s. you would think because of the neighborhood the treatments would be spendy, but they are more than reasonable.

About a month ago I was referred to Dr. Pak for a small growth above my gumline that needed to be addressed. I didn’t have insurance but I can still say I definitely recommend his services. I was given the option to split up my payment and the office approved.
From the first moment in the door his staff was has been informative, professional, friendly, and accommodating. Dr. Pak went to work on me the same day as I visited him, making time for my minor operation since it was considered potentially an immediate concern. He explained the possible reasons for the growth, and I was informed of the likely and unlikely outcomes from the lab sample that would be sent off later that day. The numbing was very precise and virtually painless in the front of my mouth –something I hadn’t experienced before. A small portion of my gum above my eye tooth was removed and I was instructed on how to care for the area while it was sutured up for about a week.
Fortunately the lab results came back with no other concerns. But since then Dr. Pak has taken great care to make sure the initial procedure will heal properly and no problems will recur. To that end, he has given clear dental care of the area and made sure that my pathway forward will be healthy. Again I would not hesitate to recommend his overall care.

Dr. Pak is very professional and friendly. I’m not comfortable sitting in a dentist’s chair but Dr. Pak was patient and eased my fears by explaining what he was going to do. I was in extreme pain and am very grateful that Dr. Pak was available and able to help me. Would highly recommend this dentist’s office. No one really wants to go to the dentists, but if you have to go Dr. Pak will take good care of you.

I had two of my wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr. Pak. Job well done. Dr. Pak is friendly and takes his time to answer all the questions. A week later after my wisdom tooth removal, I received follow up call from his office to check if I was feeling better. Which I thought it was very nice. So far I made three referrals to his office and all my friends gave two thumbs up!

Fantastic!!! I get all my teeth cleaning done there, Dr Pak does it himself (not an assistant like at other places) …also He truly cleans your teeth, other places I felt like they just barely did anything and then threw the sealer thing on…
The staff is super friendly– I would not go anywhere else!
