I came in for a simple oil change, but Mike really took car of me.
He had so much attention to detail. Mike rethreaded a leaky bolt, he added a bolt to a loose place on the radiator frame, he tightened up where my filter was loosely installed, and gave me reasonable estimates of some other work I asked about.
I felt very well taken care of. He also rotated my tires for free and topped off all the liquids in my car.
I will definitely be back!

What’s up am tony … sadly this place close down the rent went up it was 6000 and it went up to 7000 plus the employees parts and so fort it was more then $ 15.000 a month .! !!! The owners could not pay all that money they lost there house just to pay all of us!!! I was just helping them out because Ruben left … the place close down because Ruben call all his customers and told them all he quit and told him where he was Sally because of him this place close down! !!! A lot and I mean a lot of people were mad as fuck at me because he quit … o well I was just helping them out … Two good man lost her job because of him! !!!

This is not so much a review. It’s more of a comment. I called the shop this morning to ask Ruben to recommend a smog check shop to take my car because my check engine light is on. Tony answered and informed me that Ruben is no longer there!!! My wife and I have been going there for more then 15 years now and all we have are praises for the work and for Ruben specifically. Where ever you may be Ruben we wish you the best. Take care my friend. I only hope that the quality of service and honesty doesn’t change now that he’s gone. If so I will be the first to let you know about it.

Reuben was recommended to me when I first moved to LA. I was shopping for a used car and took every single one I test drove to him. I probably bought him half a dozen cars and he never charged me a cent. He saved me from paying way too much on one car I thought was the one for me. Now that I have a car, I only bring it to him. He’s quick, affordable, and honest – he always explains exactly what’s going on and even brings me under the hood to show me what’s up.
There was one time where I got my oil changed at a Jiffy Lube and the very next day, my oil was leaking. I brought it to Reuben and he brought me under the car and showed me the shoddy workmanship they did. Ever since then, I go to Reuben and everything works like a dream.
Always call ahead to make an appointment – they fill up pretty quick, especially on the weekends (I think they close at 2 p.m. on Saturday and aren’t open Sunday).
Every time a friend moves to LA, I set them up with Reuben. He’s the one we trust. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Los Feliz Tune and Lube for around 12 years now. My husband and all three sons go there and I always recommend them to friends. Ruben is simply THE BEST. We’ve had some rough financial times where Ruben has kept my car «taped» together until we could afford the service the car needed and when it has needed major service, it is always very reasonable. And the job is always DONE RIGHT. He only recommends the service that you actually need. There’s no B.S. This is why so many people trust him and why the place is so damned busy all the time. Around 8 years ago, we moved from Los Feliz, yet we still drive a 40-​mile round trip to Ruben’s — even for a simple oil change. I just don’t trust anyone else with my car. It’s funny that the only stable person in our lives has been Ruben. We’ve changed doctors, dentists, plumbers, accountants — you name it — but, man, as long as Ruben continues to work there, we are NEVER changing mechanics. Knowing Ruben is there is just one less stress in my life. I just can’t recommend this place more highly.

i like these guys they do honest work. i would go to them for all regular service (oil change, brakes, etc.). they are very small though so you should go early to get fast service as they get busy in the afternoon.

Prompt, professional service. I was very satisfied with the work performed on my 2004 Acura.

This is the only mechanic I trust. I’ve been going to Ruben for 8 years now and he has taken care of everything from oil changes to major repairs. My husband has been going to him for more years than that. He does great work, is honest, reasonably priced, convenient, etc. I can not say enough good things about this business. They even have a comfortable and cool place to wait for your car.
