The place is adorably small and calm, I just didn’t understand why the librarian was the loudest person in the library. As opposed to whispering or speaking quietly, she was speaking as if she was outside on the street. Besides that, I highly recommend this library. 5 stars for everything else.

I really love this branch of the Glendale Public Library. It is very small, but has a wonderful selection of children’s books. It is very easy to use the GPL website to have books delivered to this branch from any Glendale or Pasadena libraries.
I have found all of the librarians here very sweet and helpful. They also host a free family movie night.
One of the best things about this branch is the architecture. It is located in quaint Adams Square (right across the street from a Beeline stop) and the building is pretty great. It’s about two blocks away from the fabulous Adams Square mini park (gas station park), so you can pick up a book and take it to the park to read.
