Lau Gordon DDS

I have been a regular patient for nearly30 years. Dr. Lau is the best. Honest, personable, reliable and pain free. I have had my share of dental work over the years and nothing that was not essential. He’s affordable. His staff is fantastic and has been with him for years. I would not change dentists.

Outstanding. Friendly, efficient staff. Dr Lau is like a ninja; he gets in and out super fast and your teeth are left sparkling clean! His office is actually open Saturdays (a rarity) but is closed Sundays and Mondays, which is just fine for most people with a Monday to Friday job. It’s harder to get a Saturday appt but, if you can make it in on a weekday, you can usually be seen within the week.

When I had lost all faith in dentists, I found Dr. Lau and in him a friendly, honest doctor and a great practice. I like that he does the cleaning himself and I trust his recommendations. He does what needs to be done, and not more or less. The staff is very friendly and I also like the ease of making appointments. None of this «we’re booked for the next 6 months» that other offices love to use. It’s really a great practice.

I have been a patient of Dr Lau’s for 10 years. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I have referred several friends to him and they all come back with glowing reviews. I have gotten 3 root canals done by him and did not feel anything! I, personally, love him for that. He is very kind and gentle. If you want a wonderful dentist, no need to look any further!

I’ve been going to Dr. Lau since the mid-90’s. He is an excellent dentist — very personable and gentle. His entire staff is a pleasure to deal with, and his office is easy to get into and out of.
Only one time, in the mid-2000’s and during a fit of young inexperience, I went and saw a different dentist because they were lightly referred and very close to my office. That was a mistake of epic proportion. So now I make the drive, come hell or highwater, to Glendale to see Dr. Lau. My friend that referred me to Dr. Lau in the mid 90’s still goes to him, and one of my best friends just had ¹⁄₃ of his mouth redone by Dr. Lau with splendid results.
Furthermore, his prices are completely reasonable and they will happily manage your insurance company billing on your behalf (yay!).
I strongly recommend Dr. Lau to anyone that is looking for a solid general dentist. And be sure to not hold the fact that he went to ucla against him (however he does, rightfully so, give me a bit of ribbing whenever I show up in my USC garb). :-)
FWIW, I’m pretty sure Dr. Lau is just a general dentist, and not an oral surgeon.
