Hyatt Place Denver Cherry Creek

It’s pretty good. Front desk staff was really nice, manager came over to see if I was waiting too long, gym is GREAT compared to other biz type hotels. Room was nice but carpet was stained. Biz center was very nice as well: fast computers and unlimited printing. Also appreciated that the front desk asked my preference to room location. Overall good!
The only bad part: I was just getting settled when two maintenance men knocked on my door and asked about a panel in the shower. They waited around in the hall forever saying they’d «come back later» It gave me the creeps and I dead bolted the door. Still… I’ll stay here again for sure on my next quarter visit to Denver. I thought this hotel was way better than others I’ve stayed in– even for more $. I booked thru
, by the way and I think I paid about $ 170 with taxes and fees included.

The actual stay was decent other than the broken toilet that never got fixed. The staff was friendly. The main reason for the 1 star review is based on the very unpleasant experience after our stay. I noticed a $ 200 charge from the hotel that was unauthorized. After getting the run around for almost a week the accounting manager notified me it was a smoking fee. Considering the fact that I don’t smoke I asked to speak to a manager to resolve the issue. I was transferred to the assistant manager who said she would research the situation and call me back. The following day she called back accusing me if smoking marijuana and cigarettes in the room. I asked several times how this was determined, she gave no response and was incredibly rude. She would not Allow me to speak and continued to make false accusations with no actual reason as to why they determined smoking was detected In the room. I have been in the customer service industry almost 2 decades and cannot fathom the idea of ever treating a guest the way I was treated. As you can see I don’t have many previous reviews but felt very strongly about expressing how poor the customer service was as well as the fact that I now have to take time to dispute an authorized charge on my account. Needless to say I will never stay at this establishment again

Super friendly and helpful staff! Gave me a late check out, arranged car service to the airport, made restaurant suggestions, and in general we just really nice.
The hotel room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The décor was comfortable and modern. Comfy bed with lots of pillows. Bathroom had a big well lit mirror and the shower had good water pressure.
Plenty of common area seating at the bar and decent eats if you’re in a hurry for a quick bite.

I often stay at this hotel. Each time I’m extremely impressed with the customer service skills of Jordan and George. These two young men work the front desk and always have a smile, always are in a great mood and posses great energy.
It’s the perfect experience after a long flight or day of endless meetings.

Decently clean rooms and bathrooms, beds are comfortable. However if breakfast is a main factor in choosing your hotel, (the continental breakfast was 7 – 10) make sure to wake up early for it. I would not recommend going down any time during the last hour, the employees clean up early and will make you feel awkward for grabbing a plate with some questionable stares.

The hotel was very clean and neat. The rooms were relatively large. The staff was warm and welcoming. It is a long 2 mile walk to downtown Cherry Creek. They have a decent complimentary breakfast. Overall a decent experience at a no frills hotel.

Pretty decent stay, nice staff, good solid room, modern interior, everything worked, including gym facilities.

Terrible services, check-​in staff has no experience to properly handle any situation, this is totally unacceptable.

I used points to stay here so it’s hard to judge value but I’m guessing one night here is close to a couple hundred bones.
The room was clean (with the exception of some kind of palm print on the bathroom door glass panel). Comfortable bed.
Noise from the hallway was a small negative.
Complimentary breakfast was disappointing. French toast was cold and leathery. Eggs looked like they took the powdered stuff, add water in a pan and stuck it in the steamer. The girls running things in the back were too busy on their phones to replenish things that were consumed like cream for the coffee.
Service was friendly.
Wifi was incredibly slow and I lost connectivity frequently.
No pool.
Pet friendly but pricey deposit of $ 75.
Would go elsewhere if had other options that would take pets.

Let me preface this review by saying the Denver airport is an absolute nightmare. Beyond that, I missed my connecting flight due to severe weather. Plenty of others did as well, as I determined by the crazy amount of people in line for the United Customer Service booth. I didn’t want to wait any longer (I had already been trying to book a new flight and find my luggage for the night). I didn’t go through the airline for the room. I had a difficult time finding a hotel, because of the many that were forced to stay in Denver for the night, just like myself.
I booked this room out of desperation. It isn’t close to the airport at all, but it was the best I could do. I have stated at a Hyatt Place before (Dallas), and was not impressed. I was going to pay $ 130 to stay at the airport EconoLodge, but they overbooked me. Hyatt Place Denver Cherry Creek was 12 miles away from the airport, so I didn’t like the thought of doing it for what I payed ($ 160). When I got here, I was so surprised, I almost fell over. The staff was very friendly, checked me in right away, and the bar/​grill was still open in the hotel lobby, until midnight. I was still skeptical about the room itself. Once I got to my room, I felt like I was in a Grand Hyatt. The room was out of this world. The bathroom was amazing, and I was lucky and had a great view of downtown (10^th floor).
A/​C is central, not those dreaded hotel window units. The bed is extremely comfortable, with pillows to match. TV is a good size. They gave me the WiFi access code without me having to ask, and the speed is decent.
The only complaints I have, though they were not awful enough to give it 4 stars, were the towels and ice container. The towels provided were probably ¼ the size of normal towels (I managed very well, and probably could have gotten the right kind had I checked before I was already in the shower), and the ice container was nowhere to be found.
I was so frustrated already because of the fiasco I experienced at the airport, and a day of planning I put into my first day in Anchorage (my final destination) went out of the window. but I am actually content with what happened because this place is so great. Also, it is right across the street from Smashburger. There are only a few of these in Texas, but I fell in love with it. To find there is one right across the street was a dream come true.

I have visited the clinic on many occasions. The service is always good and the the staff have gone above and beyond. In the evening there is a young man there named Umut is always hospitable and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. They provide a breakfast in the morning, the breakfast is not the best breakfast in the world, but you can always find something to eat.

Room was very nice and well appointed. Parking is easy and staff is friendly. The price is definitely right. Minus one star for the breakfast and wifi… The breakfast just isn’t good. The food is all there but the quality isn’t. But I mean it’s free, so, yeah. Also the wifi in the rooms is basically non existent. Fast in common areas though. Minus another star because I don’t know if it was just my weekend, but there were a noticeable amount of stoners infiltrating the hotel, eating the mediocre breakfast and laughing in hallways. They aren’t hurting anybody but man it’s just a sleazy look. The hotel did send notes under doors that any type of smoking is explicitly not allowed. But vaporizers exist!
Anyways I would stay here again for the price and location… But eat your breakfast elsewhere :)

I will never stay here again. Beds suck, pillows suck, ac broken, bathroom lock broken and bad costumer service. Had several items charged to my room that didn’t belong to me. Front deck no help with anything.

Hotel is clean and new. Rooms are well equipped and breakfast spead was great with plenty of options.
My problem with this place is the staff. Upon walking in to checkin I went to the front desk and was not immediately acknowledged. Then some woman came over and said «yes». No «welcome», or even a «can I help you». It seemed like I was just interrupting her playing with her cell phone. That was not my biggest gripe though, it was the housekeeping staff. I was staying on a Saturday night and early Sunday morning about 730−8am the housekeeping crew starting cleaning in my hallway. They had multiple doors open and they were blaring loud Mexican music and shouting across the hallways to one another like no one was even around. I am a deep sleeper and it easily woke me up. I went and asked them if they could turn down the music and they didn’t understand and just looked at me. Needless to say I couldn’t go back to sleep and what was to be a restful morning with my family. Recommendation for the hotel would be to better train staff if they want to retain customers. My colleagues and I frequent the Denver area on business and if the want to retain customers like us they need to take note and make some changes.

Since comfortable rooms and great staff. The breakfast was a little lack luster as it was mostly cold, even though breakfast was packed and they had to bring food out constantly. They have food available 24 – 7, not room service you have to go downstairs and get it yourself. But it was pretty good. Loved the chips, salsa and & queso, which that option is coming from a Texan.
I would definitely stay here again. The only thing was we didn’t rent a car, so we used Über or Lyft to get anywhere. They could never find the place, ever. It’s very unassuming from the outside, as it looks like an office building.

I was scheduled to attend a conference in Dever 2014-​11-​03 — 2014-​11-​05, so I booked a reservation on 2014-​10-​30, but then I found out I wasn’t going to be able to stay at that hotel so I canceled my reservation on 2014-​10-​31. However, they still charged my card for the full amount.
I’ve tried to get the charge reversed but I have not been able to.
If you ever need to change a reservation, Hyatt is not the place to book originally.

im definitely a fan of this spot. ive stayed here around 4 times now and its always been pretty good.
its convenient to other businesses, there is a big parking lot and the rooms are always clean.
they also offer free breakfast… a real breakfast.

As a business traveler to Denver, I really like this hotel!!!
Modern, clean — fresh food available 24 hours and I have to say, really satisfying food. I had cheese quesadilla that was so crispy and melty and also the tomato bisque with garlic croutons? that could become a habit!
Also…Starbucks coffee, espresso and flavorings available 24 hours too! The front desk person is no longer just a front desk person — they take care of everything and they do it in a professional and cheerful manner.
I discovered this hotel on accident when everything in Denver was booking up due to an international lacrosse tournament. I have already booked my next stay here.
I didn’t use it but they have the nicest work out room I have ever seen in this class of hotel. They do not have a pool — doesn’t bother me but may be important to others. Great location — close to downtown and I-​25 but away from both.
I loved it!

I liked this place. It was nice, modern and clean. The room and the bed was comfortable. It was close driving distance to popular restaurants although the area wasn’t all that impressive.
Only thing I didn’t like was the internet. It was super super slow and/​or locked up several of the days, I had to call the internet service provider and have them help me get some higher speed. The rep did that by kicking everyone off the internet (he said someone was taking up the bandwidth).
The free continental breakfast in the morning was pretty good! They made cool sandwiches and had fresh fruit.
The service honestly wasn’t the greatest but that’s okay, I found what I needed.
When I return to the area for business, this will be the place I stay.
