This was not just a sandwich stop. It was the Haida experience. The décor is… interesting. It does not make sense. The ceiling looks like a dance floor and the LED lights, seating and red yellow walls make it seem like an acid trip. I keep looking around and laughing as I try to understand what the guy/gal decorating was thinking. Then the $ 7 mortadella sandwich came out and it was about 15+ inches long and it was pretty decent. Mortadella about an inch high with pickles, lettuce, mayo and skinny fries sprinkled on top all inside white submarine sandwich bread. For that price(and to figure out how the vintage car collection fits in) I’ll come back.

The mortadella sandwich and watermelon juice was yummy but the Nutella crêpe was horrible. It’s literally a flour tortilla with Nutella smeared in it. Not good.

Good sandwiches. lots of color inside, maybe almost too much, but we got our meal to go, so no problem there. Friendly service, too. We had the mortadella sandwich with crispy chips inside, and I thought it was pretty good. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and try more things.

When at prime lunch time I was the only customer, not a good sign. The Interior was a bit odd. But being close to work, so I thought I’d try it. Had the Kotlet Sandwich for takeout, which took 10 minutes to come out. The sandwich had no flavor what so ever, just so very bland. Bread was okay, but besides the mayo, I couldn’t distinguish what else was in the sandwich. No where near the 5 Start level reviews posted by Others. Would no visit his place agian

If someone told me that Haida’s sandwhiches were made from Grade A, 100% Baby Meat, I would hesitate before eating one. If that same person sent me an audio recording of Haida’s owner laughing at the sounds of the babies being fed into a meat grinder, I would be put off. If this certain someone also took me on a tour how the babies are selected, purchased and processed to become sandwhich meat, I admit, I might not like Haida’s very much. Then I would punch this person in the stomach and eat a Haida’s sandwich.

Their Armenian Coffee is excellent. Sandwiches are huge(foot long) and deadly good. Beef Kotlet Sandwich on the French Banquet is my favorite.

The katlet sandwich is still absolutely amazing. I love that they improved on the chips and cheese by adding mushrooms, green onions and corn. Very delicious. Keep it coming Haida!

Had to come back here again, love their sandwiches. Yummy Persian sandwiches, reminds you of home. They have all snacks that we were used to eat back home. Their juice is delicious and fresh. Definitely a must if you crave good food!

Hidden gem in Glendale! I used to favor inn n out as my favorite burger place until I accidently found Haida. Good things happen when you get lost and end up hungry. The owner said this hamburger is his mom’s recipe which she makes in the kitchen. Maybe it tastes that much better because a mom actually made it! You can seriously taste every deep flavor and love after taking just one bite. My husband and I have never experienced such light and tasty burger. There’s more than just ground beef mashed up together with seasonings in this beef patty. We tried to figure out what makes this burger so special and why our taste palate was running wild. Being his mom’s recipe, I’m sure we will never find out. However, when we’re in this city or craving a good burger, we know that this place isn’t too far from home.

This place has the best Soosis(hot dog) sandwiches. Delicious bread, great quality meat, and yummy sauces ! The customer service is great, just wish the parking was a bit better. But I’m always happy leaving here. If you’re looking to come here, GETTHEHOTSOOSISSANDWICH.

1. Interior: The interior houses a generous application of the hunger colors — yellow and red coat all tables, chairs, walls, counters and condiment squeezers in this Persian-style sandwich shop. 2. Ceiling tiles: Do not neglect to enjoy the always-on, epileptic, multicolored flashing lights, while you wait. 3. Service: Relaxed & polite. 4, Food: Delicious, and I guess, authentic. I had the mortadella sandwich a couple of times which is served on fresh-tasting bread, filled with mortadella, tomato slices, a little parsley and delirious amounts of mayonnaise. For a unique crunch, shoestring potato chips are thrown inside. The pickles it had are Persian-style: saltwater brine, not a vinegar brine. Unusual. Hunger: cured. 5. Price: Fair to fair-enough.

Not going to lie, I came in here because I watch the reality show«Glendale Life». One of the cast members owns this place, and after a little search I really wanted to try it. The restaurant is a super small place located on busy Glenoaks Blvd. Their menu is very limited; maybe about 10 things(including desserts). I got their mortadella sandwich, which was VERY good. It was 12 inches long and filled with onions, cheese, mayo, pickles, tomatoes and chips. I absolutely loved it! The staff was very attentive and made sure that we got good service. My only issue is how the place is decorated. Red walls and yellow accents… looked like a mustard and ketchup bottle exploded in there. They really should redecorate, but other than that it’s a fun and casual place to stop off for a quick bite to eat.

Worse place ever to dine in. the sandwiches were so smelly and saggy that we end up throwing it away And once we ordered for delivery lady brought our food to end of our street and she’s called me saying no parking is available come and get your food This whole business and staffs are BIG joke.
