H&R Block

Do not schedule an appointment here. If anything you will arrive there to have someone in your spot and then be pushed off to another tax person. This happened to me twice and very unprofessional to do this a second time. I have been coming to this location for a long time only for a certain tax preparer but will not be back due to the other staff and supposedly the office manager. They should learn how to schedule and keep appointments with returning clients not just want to make money off people that walk in to be seen. I had to put one star only to have this posted

This business is a rip off. I did my taxes using their online service and had originally used the free edition which would efile my federal for free and state for $ 9.99. Well, I qualify for EIC so I was forced to upgrade to the basic for $ 14.99 which raised the price of my state to $ 36.99! So after taxes I paid roughly $ 57.00. Well, my federal got rejected cuz my idiot ex claimed my son. So I go in to this location to get the «free in person support.» Yeah, the would fix it for free by removing my son as a depeendant — no way! So then they tell me I have to mail in my return, but the only way to get the original to file (without the «copy only do not file» all over it) is to have them prepare the return. So I asked if it would be free since I already paid and they said no! They said it is separate which is ridiculous since the people that took the money out of my account was H&R Block! They refused to help me unless I paid them to prepare my taxes which were already prepared! To top it off, I cannot e-​file my state return either nwo, so I paid the money to e-​file and I now can’t and cannot get anyone to refund my money. This is such a rip off. This location is horrible and does not do anything to help the customer and no H & R Block will ever get my business again! I wanted to give negative stars but Unilocal wouldn’t let me.
