Now this is a story all about how, my life got flipped turned upside-​down, and i’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, I’ll tell you how I became the price of heating and air.

Outside of Los Angeles born and raised, in Glendale is where I spent most of my days. Chillin’ out houses, make people feel cool and when winter rolls in, heat your house up real good. When a couple of guys, they were up to no good, started messing up systems in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, she said «your going to start your own company doing Heating and Air.»

We, got, called for a repair and when we got near, they’re A/​C was damaged and they had mice everywhere. If anything I could say this situation was rare, but I thought «Nah, forget it, your home can be repaired!»

I, left, out of that house at about 7 or 8, and I yelled to the client «Yo, Home is much better!» Looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit on my throne as the Prince of Heating and Air.

We contacted Armen based on the Unilocal reviews and he did not disappoint! He and his crew, Mario and John were so great to work with! Our second floor AC unit broke in September and our daughter’s room was too hot to sleep in so he brought us a portable until the next day when they could replace the unit. We were so thankful for him — turns out our less than a year old unit was installed incorrectly so it wasn’t getting enough ventilation, which caused it to burn out. We had had another reputable company give us a bid and he did not mention anything about where the unit was installed. If it wasn’t for him, we would’ve made the same mistake twice /​paying for a whole new unit, only to have it burn out again.
I just wish we had found Armen last year when our first unit broke so we would’ve had it done correctly the first time around! He doesn’t recommend any service or product that he wouldn’t have installed in his own home.

My heater went out a couple of days ago and I couldn’t find anyone to come out day of and take a look at it, but Arman was nice enough to come out and take a look. The motor was busted and someone put in parts that didn’t belong. So he came back the next day with all the right parts and now it’s running perfectly. He gave me a great price and was friendly. I recommended him to anyone who is looking for repair and a person who won’t up charge you.

Green technology systems saved my butt! I was dying from this cold weather when my furnace died. I was freezing and I called about 6 companies with no one available to fix my heater. Everyone wanted around $ 125 dollars to come and check the system and i couldnt afford it at all. I found Green technology systems here and called them, they came out the next morning by squeezing me in between appointments, they only charged me $ 65 to come out and fixed my problem within 20 minutes. Its been a week and im still all warm and toasty :) these guys are awesome! Very professional, they came in with uniforms, made sure to keep my place clean, the technician explained every single issue and why the issue happened and Mario was very good with my nosey doggy. These guys are a must go any issues your ac or heater has. Highly recommended!!!

I had Green Technology come by today to service my 5 year old rooftop AC unit. Armen and Mario were very professional after a quick 10 min inspection they fully explained why my unit had taken to vibrating (two years of sap, leaves and nuts from a nuisance of a pecan tree mucking up the works). Armen gave me a reasonable price to recharge the unit and clean it up. When he and Mario left it was running like new. Will definitely be using them for future maintenance.

This is one of the most irresponsible business I have come across. I am shocked how they were able to get so many positive reviews. I hope they are not fake. I bought a groupon which I am going to cancel now (thanks to Groupon for standing behind their offerings). I called this business many times to get an appointment. I left messages number of time and even talked to someone and were told that they will call me back to set up the appointment which they never did. Anyway finally I was able to get an appointment for Thursday Oct 1st for 3 to 5 PM window. being a weekday, I rushed to home and kept waiting for someone to ring the bell or my phone. But when I did not hear anything by 4:50 PM, I called their number. It went on VM and left message explaining about my appointment. When I did not hear by 5, I again called and left voice message. I never receive a call since that day. It looks like they decided to send their technician for more profitable job without even caring about calling me to inform. What a waste of my time, I spent to work with this business.

Our older AC unit — and I mean older (1980 Magic Chef) — was working decent in the day time, but sluggish in the evenings, so we decided to give Green Tech Systems a try. John and Mario came to our home to perform a tune up inspection and we found both gentlemen to be very personable, knowledgeable & efficient. They determined the issue (needed freon) and they provided us with our options. Before we knew it, they had our old AC unit running like new! I would definitely use them again!

Very honest and professional. My air conditioner was working great until it started getting a little humid at which point it still worked but never seemed to get quite as cool to the point where it would turn off. I purchased an air conditioning tune up to have it checked out. After some examining and testing I was told that my air conditioner was actually functioning correctly and that when the humidity went away the unit would start to work as it did before. The problem was the vents in the house were not large enough to pull enough humid air into the unit to keep up. I appreciated that they took the time to explain to me what was going on and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. At the end of the visit I asked if they knew anything about dryer vents because my dryer kept turning itself off and I had already tried cleaning the duct and had someone else look at it already as well. They took a look and noticed that the flap on the outside of the house was getting stuck and spent some time fixing it. The humidity is gone and the air conditioner started working again as they said it would. The dryer vent fix also worked and saved me a lot of frustration and another expensive visit from someone else. The visit was very reasonably priced and they didn’t even charge me for the time looking at the dryer vent. Will be using them again in the future.

Thanks Armen for doing your job right. This company was a pleasure to work with. They are professional, honest and reliable. He fixed a very bad situation for me with a air conditioner that was supposed to be new from another company. His company also fixed my plumbing issues. They are fair in their prices and are very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them in the future.

It was the middle of summer 2014 and my AC wouldn’t turn on. I’d never had an issue with it before and didn’t know where to turn, since it’s so hard to find someone trustworthy. I was referred to these guys by a good friend. I called and they were able to set up an appointment that worked around my busy schedule. They walked in and introduced themselves, handed me a business card and got straight to work. Within a short amount of time they were able to diagnose the problem. They gave a me a reasonable quote and I told them to go ahead and fix the unit and they suggested cleaning it, which was long overdue since I’d never had the unit serviced in the 15 years we’ve had it. They also gave me advice on how to help keep the unit clean on my own, which was a friendly gesture.
Since they didn’t have the specific part on hand they ran out to a nearby supplier and returned within a half hour. They were able to fix my problem quickly and when I told my friends what I paid they were surprised that their rates were so reasonable.
A year later and I am glad to say my AC is still running strong and I haven’t had a problem since. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

When my AC started blowing hot air my landlord called 2 companies to fix it. No one was able to fix it. Every time someone came out they charged like 500 dollars and 1 week later the ac was blowing hot air again. One of my friends who works for a plumbing company told me to call green technology.
I called them on sunday and armen answered the phone and set up an appointment for me. They came out Tuesday and it took these guys like 10 minutes to find all the problems this 27 year old ac system had. The system was low on freon and had a major leak, they fixed the leak, pressure tested the system and refilled my freon all in a few hours. On top of all that the thermostat was old and hanging off the wall so they replaced the thermostat for me also for half the price the other company priced out. These guys made it simple for me. they called my landlord, explained everything in detail and made sure that the ac worked like before, they even gave us a 1 year warranty. They took credit card over the phone with my land lord so i didnt have to put cash out of my pocket and set up a free appointment to come and recheck their work in 1 month. Im guessing their prices are very good because my landlord is now letting Green Technology fix all other air conditioning systems in the buildings he owns.
I recommend these guys for sure and they have a crazy referral program too lol

I was very hopeful for these guys after reading so many positive reviews. I took advantage of a GroupOn special deal which made the service visit very affordable. When they came, they made several recommendations to me that I knew to be false. They made at least three attempts to up-​sell me on upgrades that I knew from prior experience were not accurate. To take just one example, they claimed my insulation was «very inadequate» (despite multiple handymen and a home inspector telling me it was abundant and maybe even overkill). They recommended a replacement part for a part I had just replaced myself (brand new and working fine). They tried to get me to opt for a few more expensive services which, they said, would increase the efficiency of my system. But I don’t know what to believe when they told me blatant falsehoods to my face, and then offered me an instant discount if I would agree on the spot to that service.
These are the kinds of experiences that make me not want to call a company like this ever again. Sorry. Usually I go with the tide of Unilocal reviews and have found many quality providers, but in this case, I have to disagree with the ratings here. Buyer beware.

These guys are life savers. Our air conditioner went out Saturday and getting a company out in this heat is tough. Armen came out Saturday and found the problem and started working on putting in a new system Monday, even though it was like 95 degrees! Armen and his crew came in, to work and brought us a loaner ac unit and started fixing the issue. My condenser unit was broken and he gave us an awesome price to change it. They got me financing and now I’m going to save like 100s of dollars on my electric bill this summer!

A couple months ago when my mom’s very old floor heater needed a new cap and no replacement part could be found, Armen went out of his way to find a better solution. He found a sight glass that could take the place of the metal cap and made sure it was a perfect fit. My mom likes it even better since she can easily see the flames through the glass. I would definitely use them again!

I have a very old air conditioning machine that we haven’t had serviced since we probably bought the house. I saw the groupon deal to service our AC unit. I thought I would give it a try. It was easy to make an appointment. Armen & John were very nice and knowledgeable. They saved my AC unit from dying. If I haven’t called them, my AC unit would be dead by summer. I haven’t even hired these guys — and I may not have to — but I wanted to provide as positive a review as possible because after speaking with Arman about inspecting our old home’s wall heater, he suggested the gas company would be the way to go first, then to contact him if there were issues. Run on sentence aside, I am very grateful for this information, as they could have easily charged us for something the gas company can do or free.
