Oh my god ! I felt like someone teleported me back 20years and I was eating my long deceased sister’s food in her living room, in Yerevan. (Just like the food critic in Ratatouille if you’ve watched it .-)

Very friendly staff, the lamb chops were delicious! The place is very clean and the prices are reasonable for the portions.

Great Armenian/​Russian food joint. Their Chicken Lulya kebab is out of this world. Was just there this past weekend and ordered a tray of it to go.

The food was so good the other day. My husband and I ate everything. The Salad we got was really tasty as well. Staff was helpful over the phone.

Tried to make a dinner reservation with the woman on the phone for 3 people. When I told her our reservation would be for 5 o clock, she rudely told me they close at 8pm. When I told her, ok that’s fine, she said «ok just don’t plan on staying her longer than that» … maybe your usual clientele like to booze it up past your closing time, don’t assume everyone else does too.

Everything is delicious. The meat is tender and fresh, cooked perfectly. The restaurant is superclean and Brand new.

When in for lunch delicious food reasonable prices great customer service people very friendly!
Recommend for everyone!

Excellent food at reasonable prices.
We got the chicken beast plate which is #10 on the menu. It was delicious. I even ordered it to-​go for the family to try. The service is excellent, everyone is so nice here.

I got the filet mignon kebab plate and my husband got the beef/​chicken lula. I thought his dish was really good — my meat was on the salty side. They give quite a bit of food in their to-​go boxes. My dish lasted me a few meals (careful about leaving the food in your car — the onion scent might fill your car for a day or so, speaking from experience).
Although their food was decent, I’m marking off a couple stars because 1) there were people smoking on the patio out front in front of no smoking signs and the employees didn’t do anything about it (I have my suspicions that the smokers may have been friends). Also, we got there at 8:30 (they close at 9), so they said that we had to order to-​go, we couldn’t eat there. Yea, it’s a small business, but it’s not like we showed up right before closing time asking them to cook something up for us — generally, I take restaurant close times to be the time that the kitchen closes, but that is apparently not the case here. And it would only be a small annoyance for me if we didn’t see a huge group of people sitting at a table in the back of the patio hanging out while we carried our food to our car to eat there.
Also — parking lot sucks — it has one spot that is a handicapped spot, though whoever was parked there was definitely not handicapped. It also looks like a pain to get into. Just park on the street. There’s also pretty much no seating inside (which meant we had to wait for our food by the smelly smokers).

Came in for dinner last night. My wife tried the filet mignon kebabs and I had the beef and chicken «lula.» Everything was pretty solid. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, the rice and onions were good, the bread was fine, and there was a nice red sauce that came on the side that was a cool touch (it was interesting, kinda like a salsa). It also came with a grilled pepper and half of a grilled tomato. The tender meat was really the highlight, although my wifes was a bit salty. They cooked it fresh for us and it still took less than 15 minutes to come out piping hot. Thanks! Portions were enormous and easily big enough for 2 meals for me — and I am a big eater.
The only thing that kinda sucked is there were 2 people sitting right outside the door (maybe 8 feet outside) at a table, smoking like chimneys the whole time I was there. They were smoking right by a «no smoking» sign, and the entire outside area smelled horrible, and the smoke even drifted in through the open door and made the inside ordering area stink as well. The employees here need to deal with that. It is 100% illegal and frankly, very off-​putting.
Other hilarious info:
–The parking lot has ONE spot (and its a handicapped spot). Park on the side street nearby.
–They had an ENORMOUS fish of some sort in their glass display case. This thing was at least 3 feet long, just kinda chilling near the kabobs. Pretty funny.

Great please with great prices. You will love this place as soon as you try. I always order my main dishes from this place whenever I have big party at my house. I highly recommend this place for takeout tasty food. !!!

My five stars for food!!! Really good lamb chops! Very tender and very juicy. I also ordered lyulya kebab. This place is not expensive. I would recommend this place to all my friends who loves Kebab.

I found this place going through Unilocal trying to find a good middle eastern restaurant in glendale, Me and my family of four went for dinner and we were greeted with great customer service, we ordered 4 different plates and a greek salad and each one was more delicious than the other, great outdoor seating with a beautiful patio and overall just a very intresting restaurant, makes you want to try something new everytime, one thing i just dont seem to understand about this place is how buisness can be slow for such great prices, large portions and beautiful outdoor dining, but one thing i do know for sure is they just found a new customer and i just found my new favorite restaurant.

This place has been around for a while now, so after seeing the Unilocal reviews I decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Sturgeon fish in fillet and BBQ chicken breast.
The fish was cooked to perfection! The chicken was good especially the tomato sauce you get on the side.
Only one parking spot, you have to park on the street but its worth it!

Very few places can master lamb chops on a charcoal grill, these guys have it down to a science.
Excellent quality and freshness you can taste in every bite. Very glad this place came to Glendale. They beat the competition hands down with their amazing food and hospitality.

This food at this place is pretty darn good! My group of five each ordered a separate dish and we shared them together, which was good because I don’t think I would be able to eat one whole plate by myself. We ordered the beef lula, pork chops, a greek salad, and two other things. This place is definitely worth a try!
Down side was that there was only outdoor seating and the other group was smoking quite a bit so :/​Also they spontaneously turned on the leaf blower in the middle of our dinner, which was really weird and made our conversation a tad more difficult.
Otherwise, great food and good service.
Oh and I don’t think they accept credit cards, only debit and cash. They also charge you extra if you use your debit too…

My friend and I spontaneously decided to try this place out after running errands in Glendale, and it was absolutely amazing! It was our first time eating Russian food, and our server patiently helped us choose what to eat. We ended up getting the chicken combo, which we split because we were trying to save money, but there was so much food we were both more than satisfied. He was even thoughtful enough to serve the food on two separate plates!
We were the only customers the entire time we were there, which I really wish wasn’t the case. This place definitely deserves more business, and I will most definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Glendale.
⁴⁄₅ stars, but only because I’m waiting to try more menu items!

This restaurant is located across the street from Antique Car Wash. I understand that there’s one in North Hollywood as well. It has a quaint outdoor seating. It specializes in catering.
Most of the dishes ranged from $ 8.99+. The portions were gigantic. It uses natural charcoals to cook its meats.
