Glendale Optometry

The best experience I’ve had at an Optometry! Dr. Park was so thorough with my eye examination and took the time to explain every test and my results. My face is a bit small so it has always been difficult to find the right glasses but Dr. Park and Mr. Park helped me find the perfect pair that’s comfortable, modern, and fits perfectly! I’m so happy I found an Optometry that cares– making sure their customer picks out the best frame for their face and a style that won’t get old over time.

When spending $ 500 on a pair of frames, you’d expect some service even as a walk in. Very disappointing the lack of service on such high end items. Ended up going to Burbank where I found the same glasses $ 90 cheaper.
Update: small business owner: you can be busy, which is great. But no acknowledgement to a customer after 30 mins in your store. You were only helping one customer so it wasn’t that you were busy. And you did not order me frames, nor did I come in and call multiple times. You have me confused with someone else.
Know where you went wrong, say sorry, and learn from your mistakes. I suggest using the ‘customer is always right’ service philosophy, especially when selling high-​end products. You’re right, I don’t write many reviews. I wrote this because I couldn’t believe how you treated me as a customer.
I worked in customer service for 15 years and as a small business owner for 12 years. The last thing I want to do is hurt an owner’s reputation. I called you yesterday to complain. You were blank. No sorry or any acknowledgement for the lack of service. Just silence. Did you not think I had a Unilocal account? Funny how quick you reply to my post. It takes a negative review on Unilocal to get some acknowledgement.

Dr. Park is very awesome were so happy to found our new eye doctor. She examined us very thoroughly and with sense of humor. And brian oh my he’s even funnier and very helpful. Please see this doctor or change your doctor you will be very happy and pleased. Thank you for the both of them :)

I absolutely loved my experience at Glendale Optometry. The couple who owns the establishment is so friendly, professionally casual (does that make sense) and so helpful. Dr. Park is so thorough with the examination, she is just wonderful, she gave great suggestions about my prescription and she explained what she was doing and why she was doing it.
Her husband is awesome too, I think my boyfriend and I spent probably an hour and a half looking at glasses and sunglasses and he was so attentive. He gave great suggestions as to which framed would fit my tiny face and my boyfriend huge head. All in all, I highly suggest Glendale optometry. Just a great experience all around.

Dr. Park is an angel. She fixed in one quick visit what my previous optometrist couldn’t figure out in several exams/​follow up visits. Brian is so efficient and the two of them make the visit very pleasant. This office is a model for how all healthcare experiences should be.

I loved all of the ladies here and the doctor is soooo nice, but unfortunately had to wait an hour past my appointment time and sadly there is just no excuse for that.

It’s been awhile since I had an eye exam so I was a bit nervous, but Dr. Park and her husband Brian put me at ease, with their friendly energy, as soon as i walked in the door. Dr. Park answered all of my questions and the actual eye exam was a breeze! Brian was super helpful when it came to selecting my new eyeglasses by not only providing a selection of frames (and they have awesome stylish frames!), but also explaining what my vision insurance covered.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, up-​to-​date, helpful, I could go on and on. Dr. Park and Brian are amazing. They are true professionals who take your eye health and eye fashion seriously. I’ve already recommended another new patient who is just as happy as I am with Glendale Optometry. I’ll be a patient for life!

Dr. Park was very thorough, and did beyond what my insurance covered. I highly recommend this place for check up.

Have been meaning to write this review for a while! One of the best eye exams I’ve ever had, and then great care was taken in helping me pick my frames. A great experience; have recommended to friends and now I’m finally writing this review here! Highly recommended.

Great customer service! Came in with my mindset to get my typical style of glasses. They help locate what I was looking for the. At he end suggested some new styles to look at… Which was great bc then I opened up to a new style to add to my collection. They did not pressure me at all, instead just asked why ice never explored other styles and said if I had time I should check them out one hour later I was out the door in love with my new Tom Fords and Masunaga glasses! Can’t wait to get them in weeks!

I had such a pleasant experience at Glendale optometry! Dr. Park was very thorough with her exam and helped me to understand what was happening with my eyes. She spent a lot of time with me and made me feel valued as a patient. They have an incredible selection of frames and gave me a cleaning cloth and solution when I went to pick up my glasses — a far cry from my previous doctor. I will definitely be coming back for my next check up.

Both Alison and her husband are extremely nice and know the true meaning of customer service. I used to be insured with kaiser and I can say I’ve had a huge bump up in terms of service and quality. Alison made my eye exam so thorough, it showed how much she really cared about her patients and how much she enjoys what she does. She asks such specific questions so she can give you the best solution to your eye needs. On top of that, she’s very personal and didn’t treat me as JUST a patient — does a great job of creating a good rapport and loyal customer.
Her husband is just as professional, friendly, patient and knowledgable. He was very helpful in finding the right frames even when I was extremely picky.
Such great quality and care from these guys! Keep it up!

My gf booked my appointment here and I was very impressed. Dr. Park is very knowledgable and professional. She even took the extra time to do the diabetic testing for me without the dialation. Brian was also very patient and knowedgable in regards to lenses and frames. He spent an hour with me to make sure I had the right pairs of glasses. I have found my new optometrist and will refer people to their business! =)

Ok, so I hadn’t been to an optometrist since some time around middle school and my vision coverage with my insurance had kicked in and I thought to myself, «alright lets put this puppy to use and hopefully I’m not going blind or anything». So I did what most of us do nowadays without any sort of referral or recommendation, I did a little research and eventually went through several local Unilocal reviews. After surveying around I found Dr. Park to be a viable candidate as my new optometrist. So I called in and spoke to Brian, he got all my info and went over my insurance coverage and made my appointment for literally the following day.
I went in and met with Brian and Dr. Park, who are a nice pair of individuals to say the least, filled out my paperwork and we proceeded to the examination room. I might mention I have a weird phobia with getting poked in the eye (yeah I know I got issues) which I explained beforehand to Dr. Park but she put me at ease, she was awesome. We went through several tests which I had several questions about and she answered them all without any hesitation. Dr. Park was very professional without being overwhelming and she was just a genuinely nice person who knew what she was doing.
So do yourself a favor and avoid wasting your time if you need an eye examination and go «see» Dr. Park…

Dr. Allison Park and Brian are truly the best. I feel like part of a team with them. I found them through Unilocal a couple years back. They were able to see me and take care of my needs faster than I even expected. I’ve been meaning to write a review for some time. I’ve gone to them for all of my needs. Allison is a true professional she knows what she is doing and educates you on what’s best and can be most comfortable for your specific needs. I feel so comfortable there. They’re a beautiful family operated business. Brian can help you pick up the perfect frame for your face. My last visit was kind of unique I wanted colored contacts for Halloween and very last minute. I knew I couldn’t get crazy colors right away, I had already purchased a pair and they were really irritating (bought them online huge mistake) I called and told her my dilemma we looked at pictures together and she helped me find a perfect option! I love this place these two are the best.

The prescription was perfect. The lens they recommended was absolutely awesome.
I was struggling to find the right place and I think I found the place I can trust now.
The exam took longer than usual and they check more things than the place I went to last time. Well, for the better result I guess.

Experience:
I called on a Wednesday during lunch and spoke to the owner, he booked me for the following Saturday and held a rsvp for my son as I was debating rather to get his eyes checked as well. We were greeted with genuine smiles from the moment we walked into the establishment. The place was small but very clean and very efficient. I admired their selection of frames as much as I admire the art gallery that covered the walls behind their register, their toddler sons are quite the dinosaur artist. I was greeted by the owner Brian but was seen by his wife Allison. They make an awesome team and love the fact that the entire family was involved as the kids joyfully occupied the playroom they had built in the back.
Allison was very thorough and made sure to offer explanations for all procedures she was conducting, she answered every question we asked (and my 11 year old son can really come up with some extraterrestrial questions) with a confidence that allowed me to assume she knew exactly what she was doing.
What I loved most about the visit was she really knew her stuff and was very patient throughout the entire matter. My past eye exams always felt rushed or I always felt like my prescription could be a little clearer. She truly took her time to make sure my son and I felt perfect about our new eyes. I also loved that the focus on service, no upselling involved here. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ experience, I think I’ve found our new family optometrist.
