This place is a gem! If you like big busy offices with no authentic or personalized attention, don’t go here. If you want results and care you’ve found your new spot! I originaly started with a photofacial for sun damage last fall and my results were amazing! I got more results from a series here than I have anywhere else and I’ve been getting photofacials for a long time. We also did a silkpeel in between and I loved it. I go back for these now that I’m done with my package. Note, theres no massage with this, it’s not a facial but for me it’s quick and effective and I don’t care about the fluff.
I recently did a fractional treatment to address some texture and scarring issues and the price for this is very affordable. They told me it would take up to 6 months to see the real results of this since you’re basically forming new skin but I am so pleased to see changes in my skin much earlier. My pores look smaller and my skin is less bumpy.
The staff is extremely friendly and super accommodating. I’ve never had issues with my appointments. They always let you know if any good deals are coming up so you can save more. No one likes being upselled on stuff so I’m glad I never had to deal with that here. I hardly ever have to wait for my appointment and they’ve actually been kind enough to accommodate me multiple times when I’ve been late. Not that you should take advantage of that but for me that was so important and makes me trust them more.
Only con is the parking which can get full on the weekdays but is okay on the weekend. Otherwise, I’m so happy with everything here and have referred so many friends already. I’m budgeting now so I can do laser hair removal next. thank you Glendale laser group!!!

I have been coming in for Fractional Laser skin resurfacing to remove the acne scarring on my cheeks. I purchased the package of three treatments and have had two so far. Even after the first treatment I noticed a significant (75%) reduction in the redness surrounding my acne scars. There is a little bit of redness right after the treatment but that fades away in 48 hours. Initially, I was nervous to have laser skin resurfacing done but when after I met Bella, the receptionist, I was immediately put at ease. She’s had the laser skin resurfacing done herself so she was able to explain what kind of results I could expect. After two treatments the results are far better than I expected and I’m so glad I went with Glendale Laser Group for my acne scars. Sally, the RN, makes sure the laser setting is adjusted for my skin tone and after my first treatment we were able to increase the setting so I’m seeing even better results after my second treatment. The results are obviously cumulative and they are targeting a 20−25% improvement each treatment but I think realistically I have experienced a 60% improvement with my icepick scarring in two treatments. After two treatments, the redness is 100% gone and k can get away with wearing much less foundation. Thank you Sally and Bella! You gals really know what you are doing!

I haven’t been here in a long while but I am still happy with the results of my treatment *cough-​pits-​cough* over a year later. True I still have to shave or wax the area every now and then but the hairs that do grow are much thinner and lighter than the ones from pre-​treatment.
This place is pretty busy so make sure you call in to make an appointment. They’re located on the 2^nd floor of the building. There’s a nice fountain in the middle of the 2^nd floor and it gives you a feeling of intimacy and peace. It’s like a hidden oasis in the middle of a concrete desert. Does that make sense?
Parking is towards the west side of the building. Not enough spots by the way that’s why I go on the weekends when the other businesses in the same building are closed.
They have trained nurses doing the sessions in place of the doctor. Both their nurses are very nice and patient when explaining the whole process to you. No need to feel embarassed. The clinic is pretty good at determining what frequency to use depending on your skin type/​color.
Hint: it does sting. Think of a rubber band snapping on your skin except it’s not just one but a whole bunch of bands at one time.
Ladies: Laser hair removal is prohibited when pregnant. Shave a day prior or on the morning of the appointment. No sunbathing or exercising at least a day from getting the treatment. The skin will be read and will look red but you can buy OTC hydrocortisone for it.
Price: keep in mind its been over a year since I was last there. If memory serves me right, its $ 70+ for both armpits. Give them a call or go to their website for more accurate pricing.

I stopped going after 6 appointments over 8 months. They called me to «move» my appointment 4 out of 6 times. :l and when they asked me to move and I could not they cancelled my appointment. I would usually book a ten o’clock spot and be asked to move 5 hours or so later. They were more concerned with the convenience of the laser technicians schedule and less concerned with customer service. Well they lost me. Ibwork as a hair stylist and feel like cancelling an appointment should be reserved for emergency situations. And should not happen more than once, and definitely not 60% of the time. I also felt like the price was not right. $ 40 for chin. The place I go to know charges for time allotted and whatever you want done has to be done in your time slot. $ 40 for 20 minutes can be chinand neck, or arm pits etc. $ 40 for a 5minute appointment seems off. I was a steady client, a tipping client and full of referrals. I sent 6 of my clients to them. They do have a good referral reward system but that is it. I will not be going back. And 5 of my 6 referrals feel the same way.

I decided to come here after my treatments with TOC Medspa (across the street) didn’t give me results. By the way, don’t let their almost perfect Unilocal rating fool you. TOC Medspa gives laser credit to every person who gives them a 5-​star review. What a scam! I originally went there because I purchased a Groupon deal, but I would never rate them high just to score a free treatment, that defeats the whole purpose of reviewing fairly on Unilocal!Can’t believe they are getting away with this.
Anyway, Glendale Laser Group was referred to me by a friend and yes, even though they’re a bit pricy, in the end you get what you pay for. Their lasers are top notch which allows you to get effective treatment with fewer sessions (and not 10 treatments like TOC told me I needed to see results– I don’t even have that much hair!). Bella at the front desk is very knowledgable, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. She spent a lot of time telling me all about the types of treatments they offer, and personal advice on how to prevent skin damage, maintain healthy skin, etc. The nurse, Arus, who performed the procedures was so nice! I always get a little scared, but she was comforting and quick to get the job done. The setting is also very clean and professional, and relaxing too!
I saw results after only ONE treatment. I will be going back for a couple more sessions since hair grows in cycles… If you want quality laser hair removal, I highly recommend this place!

The docking of two stars is purely for the not-​so-​great customer service. Namely, the receptionist answering phone calls and receiving clients at the front desk. She seemed to have just enough of an attitude for you to notice that she was being rude. She does not belong in customer service and is a real negative in my book for receiving clients at any service-​based business. The lasering seems to have worked well so far though.
Parking is easy on the street.
UPDATE: I decided to add a star because the manager reached out to ask about the particular incidents that caused me to conclude that the customer service is bad. The bottom line is that the service they provide (lasering) is effective. But yes, customer service is a huge part of this type of business, and I think it’s important to raise it to the manager/​owner when one of their employees is jeopardizing customer satisfaction ratings.

Been coming here for lasering/​facial needs for a couple of years now and I am very happy with the quality and service they provide. The prices for some procedures can be a bit steep, but its truly worth it for the quality of lasers and products that they use. With other laser centers, you may need to return for numerous sessions, but the lasers used at Glendale Laser Group allow you to have minimal sessions. I’m really happy with the results!
The only reason for my dinged star is that I had a chem peel done here about a year ago which did not really help, but made my breakout worse actually. Parking is also kind of hard to find on the street. In terms of their lasering services, however, I would HIGHLY recommend this group!

I have had great experiences at Glendale Laser Group, I started going there due to the multitude of positive reviews, and am now surprised to see the string of negative reviews. I have been going there for over a year, and recommended two other friends who also have been going there for several months, all of us with great experiences.
PROS:
1. Pricing. Discounts for packages. $ 25 for any referral and for your birthday. I’ve gotten $ 100 worth of free services due to this.
2. Coffee/​Tea/​New Issues of magazines — (some places have June US Weekly when its September, come on!)
3. Ani responds promptly on all emails which is how I make/​move my appointments or ask any questions.
CONS:
1. Building is sketchy, I have never seen the doctor who’s office it supposably is, the bathroom is down the hall with a bathroom key.
2. Watch your clock — if you are paying for a certain amount of time of something, make sure you get your completed time, I’ve had them try to end early before which could have been an oversight, but I want to get everything I pay for, nothing more.
3. Also for bikini services, the most awkward areas are sometimes skimmed over and you feel bad saying — can you redo my butt or whatever — and I wish I spoke up sooner as I feel my regrowth has been very uneven easy to reach places look great, closer in areas not so much, these are nurses, they’ve seen everything, speak up and get what you want and what you are paying for.
My only thought is that it seems many of the negative reviews came from people who bought deals through sites like bloomspot/​groupon/​etc. In my personal experience elsewhere, I have felt treated less than a full customer when they know I have such an extreme discount/​coupon and while this isn’t fair and against the point of buying a deal to try out a service, not only are groupons over 50% the price usually, the company only gets half of that money, the other half goes to groupon. Again, this is not excusing any company if they are shifting you around etc. because you are not paying in full as they agreed to run the promotion, but as someone who pays in full and so do my two friends, we have had wonderful experiences. And the prices are extremely reasonable in comparison to all other salons.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend after having horrible experience with some other laser hair removal places, and I have been nothing but pleased with my service so far. I have light skin and medium hair, and I’m already seeing results after 2 sessions!
The location is clean and they have always been really organized as far as my appointments. The staff is always courteous, knowledgable and friendly!
What more could anyone ask?
I enjoy the experience so much, that I can hardly wait to come back!

Although I’ve been pleased with the results, there are better places to go. Two out of three visits they took me in late to my appt. Parking on the street is a pain and one time they had no available customer restrooms; understandably restrooms go out of service but obviously they made arrangements for the employees but didn’t extend that to their customers. My main issue is their lack of follow up. On my first visit, the nurse rotated the treatment table and caught me before the table shifted and almost dropped me on my head. They apparently never fixed it and continued using it. On the second visit a month later I was not so lucky. The same chair again abruptly tilted, causing me to slide down head first, slamming into the wall. I had a headache from hell and was sore all over my upper body. I was still recovering from shoulder surgery and rammed my shoulders pretty hard. I ended up having to cancel my evening plans. The office manager was very apologetic and said I would get the «VIP treatment from now on.» I’m not sure what VIP treatment entails, but I was not offered any kind of price break or service. No one even called me the next day to check up on me. When I arrived for my third appt, there was no mention of the chair collapsing on the previous visit. While waiting (late again), I asked if they had finally repaired the chair because I was not getting on it until I knew for sure. The receptionist only said, «oh that was you, I heard about that.» So much for VIP treatment.

My first treatment went well (full Brazilian, ouch). The nurse, Amie, was very nice and did her job efficiently, covering the entire area thoroughly in a short amount of time while making sure I was comfortable. Some of the areas with denser hair hurt quite a bit (snapping/​burning sensation), but it was ultimately bearable and didn’t last long. That, or I should’ve applied more of the numbing cream there, because some areas barely felt anything… A day later there was no skin irritation from the laser; time will tell how well it worked to remove the hair.
The girl at the reception desk was nice and scheduled my next appointment promptly. The office and treatment areas are clean and pleasant, although it gets very cold when waiting for the cream to settle in if you’re scantily clad.
My only complaint is that the numbing cream is $ 10 for a dollop each time. At that price, it would be nicer to give the entire tube — or bump the price to whatever the cost would be and let us have our own. The treatments already cost a large amount, no need to upcharge for a bit of cream. I don’t know who to blame for that, so I won’t knock any whole stars. 4.5 overall.

Worst customer service ever! Double booked appointments and then forced me to me to move mine, even though I had made my appointment one month prior. And were completely unaccommodating with my schedule when they forced me to move MY appointment. As other reviewers have said, they are VERY unprofessional.
Please go ANYWHERE else for laser services.

I didn’t falsify any events. My appointment was originally scheduled for July 2^nd. I received a phone call on June 21^st, stating that there was a double booking for July 2^nd at 6:00 PM and I had to move my appointment. This was not my fault, but the fault of your office; you were incapable of properly scheduling and therefore, I had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate YOURS.
And please don’t tell me that your stuff had to shuffle patients around to accommodate me. When I spoke to the receptionist yesterday morning, I informed her that I may not be able to be there by 6. She then told me that I was the last appointment of the day and that the office closes at 7, so if I cannot make it by 6, then they can still take me in at 6:30. It is now you who is falsifying events, which, by the way, is «not only unethical, but it is also against Unilocal review guidelines».

I also got the Bloomspot package for 3 sessions. Went once so far, but already I’m getting hardly any underarm hair growth after 3 wks. Yipee! So, here’s my take:
Pros: The hair removal is working, it was fast & painless, the front office girl and tech were both really nice.
Cons: The building is really old — like an old, musty apt building — which made me feel iffy about it, but the office is neat and clean; I couldn’t figure out the parking — the garage was closed so I found street parking.
Know before you go: Apparently the laser detects and targets the dark hair follicles so dark hair/​pale skin is the ideal combo. The tech told me their laser won’t work on dark skin or light hair (e.g. grey, blonde).
Overall, totally worth it. I want to do my lower legs next!

They are super UNPROFESSIONAL!
They cancel appointments often.
And when you do manage to get an appt, they don’t show up!
I really really wanted to write a positive review about this place since I liked the lady who performed the laser hair removal for my first appt. (yeah it’s painful, but that’s to be expected. But it’s nice to have a friendly person).
The receptionist is rude and curt. And if I could give this place less than 1 star, I would simply because I had an appointment re-​scheduled (because they couldn’t honor my booked one) and then when I showed up, NO ONE was there. I waited an hour outside an abandoned building before I gave up and went home.
If your business provides a service, at the very least SHOW UP TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE! Also, your customer skills should be excellent. This place doesn’t even have the bare minimum customer service skills.

I have never had anything done at all before and was very scared about going. I picked GLG because they had no complaints or «horror stories» like other places did. It was also nearby. I loved how you can secure an appointment online and you get 50% off first treatment. The receptionist was very nice, it was an updated and clean office. The technician I met with for a consultation was informative, nice, understanding and very soothing. I felt good about moving forward with the treatment. It really helped that she had treatments herself and could tell me what would happen realistically. The treatment was really easy and it didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would – seriously just a tiny half second long little pinch but barely anything… super happy with this and will keep going for more treatments.

I purchased package on Bloomspot back in December and began my treatments in January. I got 3 sessions for both my underarms and my bikini line.
The staff at Glendale Laser are lovely – warm, helpful and welcoming. I felt very comfortable in their hands. From what I understand, my pasty self has lucked out finally (for once!) with having dark hair follicles … light skin with darker hair tends to react the best to the laser treatments. I saw results after the very first treatment … by the third I wasn’t having to shave daily! This is a big deal. My people grow hair like chia pets.
I do plan on getting more treatments in the future (it’s been a few months and I definitely need to hit it 2 – 3 more times) – they say it takes 6 sessions per area on average to have longer term results. My experience with Glendale Laser Group has been so positive that I am very likely to purchase the sessions with them.
I also have to mention that another friend of mine bought the deal and was coming in for sessions when I did. She suffered a tragic family situation on the day of our last appointment … and ended up not showing up for the appointment (she was scheduled right before me). She’s not normally a flake and later called them to apologize (her excuse was incredibly legitimate and involved the death of a family member) … they were not only gracious and understanding, but they honored her last appointment and rescheduled her. Obviously, no one should be abusing their kindness … but I was really touched by that. I love the staff here.

Glendale Laser Group is awesome! I got a laser hair removal package for my b-​day and it is the best present ever!
The staff is all extremely friendly, but still perfectly professional. I feel so comfortable with them and the place is always spotless.
Highly recommended! I had my chin and upper lip done and the results were ok, but they explained that the hair was too fine so I switched to having my underarms done and after one treatment I was almost hair free! So happy!

i’ve been going to the Glendale Laser Group for my hair removal purposes for quite a time now. They have a very up to date equipment that allows for almost a painless ordeal with amazing results. The stuff is super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They are always ready to assist you in finding the best suiting procedure for your skin type and your budget!
This summer go hairless! Call Mel, the hospitable assistant, and give your body a new soft and smooth start;)

I have received five laser hair removal treatments from them but I had to stop because of how RUDE the staff at the front desk was. They were NOT accommodating and had really BAD attitude, which is such ashamed because the laser was working for me.
A couple of times they cancel my appointment but did not even call and tell me. I showed up there on time for my appointment and waited over an hour till someone came. She then told me that my appointment was cancelled because not enough people signed up for that day for laser. And the laser technician was not coming in till later that day. This happened to me twice and I finally had enough of this place.
I guess the saying is you get what you paid for :(

If I could give less than zero stars, I would have. I purchased a promotional package of 3 laser treatments from this place, because it was for a really good price. However, after arriving for my first session and filling out paperwork, the receptionist then informed me that they wouldn’t do my laser hair removal because of my skin color (I am black).
I want to note that this wasn’t exactly a racism issue– at least I don’t think it was. I’ve had laser hair removal done at my dermatologist’s office many times, so I do know that only the most modern lasers are able to detect the hair follicles in darker skin tones.
Still, wouldn’t it have saved a lot of time and aggravation to simply ask patients BEFORE booking their appointments what their ethnicity is? It might be a bit delicate, but they could then simply explain their situation with lasers and darker skin tones. Instead, I was left in the waiting room feeling humiliated and pissed off, because they have crappy outdated equipment and couldn’t accommodate me. What a bunch of jerks! They screwed up big time, and never even apologized to me. I wouldn’t recommend this place even to my white friends, just on principle.
Looks like I’m going back to my dermatologist. It costs more, but clearly, you get what you pay for.
