I can’t say enough amazing and positive things about Christine and the Entire Fancy That Team! From the day I met with Christine I knew she would be the one to help plan my wedding and it was one of the best decsions I made :) Christine is so well respected in the industry and I had the kindest most talented group of vendors working along side me to make my dream day a reality. On top of being professional, kind and amazing at what she does, Christine is on top of every detail of everything! I never once worried about ANYTHING, and if I ever stressed about a detail she was quick to respond with a text, email or phone call and had it all situated for me. The day of my wedding I was so calm and excited knowing I was in good hands– I cant stress how important it is to have an organized, well respected coordinator– Christine and her team fits the bill to a T. My parents still comment on how amazing Christine was to work with and how happy they were we had her. I have never received so many calls and emails praising how beautiful the wedding was and how flawless every detail was… Do yourself a favor and contact Fancy That!

I wanted to be very «hands on» and find a planner who would help execute my own vision for my daughter’s wedding, as opposed to someone who uses their own «one size fits all» formula. We hired Christine thinking she’d help us a little bit along the way and also the day of. We were pleasantly surprised to find out she was so much more than we ever expected!!! First of all, she really listened to what we wanted and helped connect us with some awesome vendors, secondly, she was a great point of contact person in dealing with our reception venue, thirdly she made the BEST timeline for the reception… all flowed seamlessly!!! But most importantly, she was so calm, cool and collected through all of it!!! It’s amazing how nothing frazzles her. She can handle anything with grace and efficiency!!! She acted as our eyes, ears and voice on more occasions than I can count! The morning of the wedding, my daughter called her regarding an issue of concern and the matter was handled more perfectly than I could have ever imagined. Christine was fantastic! The ceremony and reception were fantastic and my daughter and son-​in-​law were thrilled! Not to mention that I am still receiving countless notes, emails, and phone calls saying it was the best wedding our family and friends have attended! We love Christine and her team!!!

Our planning process started a year an a half before the actual date of the wedding. Christine introduced me to vendors that I would have never had the pleasure of meeting or knowing about… She attended every meeting with me and was always available via phone call or text.
It’s one thing to know vendors in the industry, any coordinator can do that, but her taste and her ability to grasp your visions and turn them into a reality is a talent that is unparalleled.
For weeks and months after my wedding I received phone calls and texts from relatives and friends telling me how beautiful and fun our wedding was.
Overall, it was my absolute pleasure to work with Christine and her staff. I can’t wait to have another special occasion so that I could work with Christine again. I’m so honored to have been a FancyBride!

After searching far and wide to find the right wedding planner — a VERY important decision for your wedding day — I hired Fancy That! Event Design. Christine Zohrabians is such a talented wedding planner. I am extremely picky and had a very specific vision for our wedding. I was also probably a hard bride to work with (I like to examine ALL of my options before committing.) But she pulled it off perfectly. She has excellent taste and made my dream wedding a reality. Literally, my vision was executed perfectly. And all of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, thanks to the meticulous details and planning.
Also, Christine prevented me from making multiple bad décor decisions (remember the fake diamonds, Christine?). She has great relationships with vendors that in the end save you money in planning your wedding day. That in itself is a great reason to work with a planner like her. Christine also has a lot of experience in planning weddings of different budgets and different cultures, which is a major plus.
On your wedding day, you don’t want to worry about the details. Seriously, you want to enjoy your big day. You need to hire someone that you can trust to cover all of the odds and ends as well as keep the day on track. You also want someone who can manage the décor of your venue impeccably.
I interviewed many wedding planners in my search for the perfect planner. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I absolutely made the right choice in hiring Fancy That! Christine (the main planner) was already booked but I wanted to work with her so badly that I went ahead and hired her company anyway. Our wedding was perfect, and so much of that is owed to Christine and her excellent taste and hard work.

I, like Brian G. have worked with Christine for over 5 years and have never payed her a dime in commission. So it’s simply a false accusation that Christine collects commission from vendors. Fancy That! Events has grown to be one of the most sought after event planners in Los Angeles and it’s because she is FANTSTIC at what she does. Extremely talented and caring. She puts her bride’s first. Even when in the past we have had issues with an order, she always makes sure that the bride’s and groom’s needs are met in a fair and professional manner. Being in the event industry myself, i would highly recommend Christine and not believe any of the lies some people have left below.

I had the honor of being a guest at a wedding that Christine had planned. From the moment we walked in it was this amazing fairy tale and it went on like this the entire evening! I just wish I knew that Christine and Fancy that Events existed when I was getting married! Would have helped so much to know that there is someone there. Especially someone with such amazing taste! Christine was our wedding planner about 2 months ago. It was because of her we had a beautiful wedding. She was patient with us and introduced us to amazing and talented vendors and worked with our budget. I can truly say she’s one of the best in the industry. Highly recommend her for your next big event!

To begin, most brides only dream of their wedding day once (we don’t really plan on trip 2 or 3 down the aisle). So when the time comes, we don’t want to mess around. After planning my engagement party alone, I knew I couldn’t handle the stress of planning a wedding alone. Christine was a total blessing! She went above and beyond. Meeting as often as we needed, going over everything step by step (and multiple times), she went above and beyond. She provided great lists of vendors, negotiated prices, and most importantly, put me at ease. Christine is really wonderful. If you need someone to plan, she’s your gal. Always on top of things! :)

I can’t believe its been 2 years since our wedding day. Up to this day, we still receive great feedback from our guests how much fun they had during our wedding. Having moved from New York to marry the love of my life, I was lost and did not know where to begin when we got engaged. We talked to a well trusted friend who owns an event rental company who he would recommend if he was to do his wedding again and without hesitation said Christine Zohrabians of Fancy That Events! is the upcoming Mindy Weiss! This friend of ours has seen all planners here in LA and we trusted his advice.
I met with a LOT of planners! Interviewed probably 6 – 7 of them. Christine was the last person I interviewed because I had to wait for her to get back from giving birth. This woman went back to work I swear the next day after labor! I had an instant connection with her right away! Because she has great style and taste. We sealed a full package coordination with her… which I think is the only way to go. We are both full time employees. I work in finance and was about to start MBA school and my husband works in entertainment. We needed someone we can rely on to make decisions.
Christine connected me to the best vendors in town who match our style and personality: Flowers from Tic-​Tock; Photographer: Marianne Lozano; Invitations– Creative Works; Accessories– Creative Touch; Cake and Pastries– Rafi’s, etc. The whole process was enjoyable because of her. She would even call me just to say hello when she hasn’t heard from me for awhile. She stayed late the night before putting together our place cards. Christine will get things done and will give you your dream wedding. But brides, be realistic too, you have to know your budget and what it can get you. Granted we invested significantly on our wedding, we know our wedding looked and felt way more than what it costed us. She made sure every detail is in place and guests felt welcomed and special that day. She hired an assistant (Erica) that day to take care of the church details so Christine can take care of the reception. Both of them were exceptional! We had a very classy and sophisticated wedding. Christine even helped my husband keep his surprise gift from me. Christine sneaked in Brian McKnight in the bridal room and kept me away from the room until it was time for him to come out and sing.
I love Christine! She is really great at what she does! The wedding industry respects her. It is important for you to treat your planner like a friend too. Great attitude just pays off. Weddings are happy celebrations of love and should not be a stressful process. I am very happy that I chose Christine of Fancy That Events to help us celebrate this memorable day! She will be planning my baby shower when the time comes!

I planned a 550 person wedding in 3.5 months. Sounds crazy? I thought so too, until I met with Christine. My wedding was Thanksgiving weekend of 2012, and I had the most amazing experience with her and the vendors she uses. Christine is professional, creative, down to earth, and organized. She made the entire process stress-​free. She recommended several of the most amazing vendors for each element of the wedding, and I chose the ones that worked best with what I had envisioned. Her network within the wedding-​industry is endless, and she knows how and where to find exactly what you need, but she never hesitates to explore new vendors that I heard about from other sources. She is an advocate for her brides and will always make sure that they’re getting what they want for their day — whether it is negotiating prices down for vendors that I loved, or figuring out a way to incorporate a type of look I wanted. Because I had a huge wedding, things came up at the very last minute, and Christine never lost her calm, reassuring professionalism. I would recommend Christine to every single one of my friends and family for a wedding. She went above and beyond and helped execute the most special event in my life!

Being new to LA/​Beverly Hills, I had no idea where to start as far as picking the right vendors to help plan my wedding. All I had was my venue and my photographer and after that I was overwhelmed in my decision making process. I started picking up magazines and jumped on the internet like most brides do. Every wedding I liked and gravitated towards was one of Christines. Her work speaks for itself and so does all of her published weddings. It takes vision, patience, wedding industry connections, and so forth to pull off what she does with her couples. I must say, she pretty much paid for herself with the money she saved introducing me to the several vendors she works closely with. A girl would be lucky to say she has had a «Fancy That» wedding.

Fancy That Events! The best decision I’ve ever made, after saying «Yes» to my husband of course! Christine is incredible! Not only does she have amazing taste and class, she’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced! My husband and I were on a budget since we had just purchased a home and had to do an extensive remodel, on top of paying for our own wedding. We had so much going on but thankfully we had Christine to help keep us stay on track with the wedding planning and within budget! We had a stressful few months leading up to the wedding but Christine was there to keep us calm and reassure us that everything would be fine. Working with Christine was extremely easy; she was always honest and very compassionate. She had a list of amazing vendors ranging within all budgets. So if you’re having trouble finding a vendor, have no doubt that Christine knows and works with the best! The few days leading up to the wedding I was actually very calm because I knew I had nothing to worry about because Christine was so organized and always one step ahead. Everything turned out to be perfect on the day of the wedding and I couldn’t have done it without her!

I am proud to say I work along side Christine of Fancy That! Every event she is a part of, turns out magnificent! She had incredible taste, attention to detail, and gives her clients endless amounts of her time. As a fellow vendor, I am shocked to see this review below from AUDREY. This person claims Christine collects money from the vendors she refers which could not be more of a malicious and false statement. I have personally worked with Christine on well over 30 weddings and have never given her one penny! To fellow readers, call Christine; she is fantastic and will make your day absolutely stunning as she has for her past clients!

Our wedding was in May of 2012, and having Christine as our planner was the only reason it turned out the way it did. She took my wife’s vision and turned it into a reality. She is a true professional and I would recommend her to anyone I know.

Young, driven, hardworking I’ve watched Christine turn into one of the most successful event planners in LA. Her website, blog & Instagram are all on my favorites list as I anxiously await daily updates for inspiration on all things pretty in the industry!

First off, I never write reviews on anything, but this I feel stongly about. I had my wedding in July. I figured I needed a wedding planner because I had 5 months to plan a wedding while enrolled in my last semester of grad school. I came across Christine’s page on FB and thought, why not. She charged $ 7,000. In that 5 months time, the biggest contribution she made toward our wedding was recommending a great photographer and setting up an appointment to check out Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, where we eventually held the wedding. Though the wedding turned out amazing, it was less due to her than it was to the effort my and my husbands families put into it.
1. She hardly had time to meet with us, leaving important details to the very last second. For example, she asked me for the guest list and laptop containing our slideshow the morning of my wedding. Although I gave her clear directions on how to access the slideshow (go to windows movie maker. Select the one and only file there), she did not follow them, showing, instead, an auto-​saved earlier version of it to my family and friends. I had put a lot of effort into my slideshow, which contained pictures with family members that I wanted to acknowledge. Upon being confronted, she was very defensive and offered no apology, which only served to irritate us further.
2. Unprofessional. She was consistently late to every meeting, hardly made time to meet and was poorly dressed on the day of the wedding.
3. Does not fight to get you the best price. Does not even try. I was able to find better bargains for equipment such as chairs, lights, etc. than she was. And of course, upon being confronted, she defended herself while making very little sense.
4. Tasteless. Had absolutely no original suggestions/​ideas. She just steals ideas from peoples weddings and shows them to the next customer.
5. Unhelpful. All she did was tag along to meetings we had with the florist. All she did was paraphrase whatever I said. Once again, contributed nothing.
Do yourselves a favor and save yourself the extra stress, irritation and money and hire a professional!

Christine from Fancy That is AMAZING! She is creative and smart! I love her ideas. She is planning my wedding for July 2012. We actually booked her over a year ago, around June 2011. I am not an easy bride at all! I am OCD, high anxiety levels, and panicky! I am also VERY PICKY when it comes to anything and everything. Fortunately, Christine makes me feel completely at ease and comfortable. She responds to e-​mails right away. She is also HONEST with you. No games or hidden agendas! She is upfront with you regarding opinions, pricing, etc. She has the most fun and cute ideas and her designs are gorgeous. Any problems arise with vendors or venues, she handles it and handles it quick! You will not be disappointed. Highly Recommend! (more updates to come after my wedding in July!!)
