Fade Image Barbershop

I’ve gone here 2 weeks in a row now for my cut and I’ve always walked out very satisfied. The place is chill. They play music and also have the TV on so you have something to do while you wait.
The wait itself is pretty long, but I ain’t going to knock them for that. A clean looking cut takes time. Richard knows his craft and has even made recommendations on little details for my hair.
The price is average at $ 20. Many barbers charge this amount now so it ain’t too bad. Don’t forget to leave a tip.
Parking is inside a little plaza so it can get pretty crowded, but I’ll sometimes park right next door and have had no issues.

I waited for over 3 hours just to get a seat. They only had a few people from the beginning so I didn’t think it would take too long. The didn’t even warn me it was going to take long. Every barber shop warns you if it’s going to an over an hour. One of his customers apparently went to grab lunch before coming back and getting himself and his son a hair cut. As if that wasn’t bad enough I asked the guy to trim my hair but instead he cuts it half the length that it was. We went over it a few times that I wanted it trimmed a little bit. Never going back again. If you make the mistake of going there make sure you confirm with them how long the wait is.

These guys really know their stuff. The wait is a little long but it’s worth it. These guys take pride in their work!

All I can say David is an artist. If you really want a cut hit up Fade Image. Ain’t too many barbers shop get down like they do.

The best barber shop in town. There’s nothing but good vibes the barbers are clean an respectful. If you haven’t came to get chopped up here your missing out. Ask for David an Richard you will be satisfied

Used to come here regularly for my 7 year old sons haircut. They give a great cut but you wait literally forever. This time it was ridiculous. Waited for over an hour one person in front of us. We waited over and hour and when it was our turn the guy says ‘he’s taking a break’. Beyond rude and unprofessional. Especially for a loyal customer and someone who used to tell everyone I knew about this spot. Never again. Done and done.

David is the best barber in LA hands down. He pays attention to detail and takes his time, doesn’t rush and makes sure you leave happy. His fades are impeccable, true talent. The wait is a bit long (bc everyone knows how good is cuts are), but well worth it. I would pay the extra $ 5 to make an appointment and not have to wait.

I’m sitting here in the studio waiting for my cut as I right this review. It is my 3^rd time coming here and I just know with full confidence they are gonna get my job done exactly how I want it.

Service: Gets crowded in afternoon, and expect to wait up to a full hour before you’re sat.
The barbers here are hood. They typically discuss gang-​banging, their latest tagging piece, and girls they’ve hooked up with in Vegas. They often get distracted by the movies played on the TV screens or take breaks to check their phones/​apps. Their haircuts are okay, but nothing you couldn’t receive at another local barber shop (that isn’t decorated like a 13-year-old’s bedroom). If you want good service, don’t go here. This is a hood barber shop.

Honestly today was very disappointing, I know it’s thanksgiving week and it’s busy but I went in at 12pm the barber told me I had 2 people ahead of me, after two people had gone I thought I would be next because the barber told me only 2 people ahead of me. So apparently I had another 1 to 2 ahead of me which was really aggravating because now it’s 2 pm and I still haven’t gone. So I dismissed myself from an very unprofessional barber shop and will no longer go there because not only of one incident but several incidences. Sometimes in life you give people chances and this chance was my last one with this place. First and foremost yes it’s nice to have TV’s everywhere but barbers need to focus on hair not TV nor answering phone calls!!! Come on people!

David is the man. He has been cutting my hair for 3 years now. I’ve followed him around from his old shop to his own shop. There is a bit of a wait. I try to go early to avoid it.
His haircuts are always precise and are made to make you look better. He pays attention to the structure of your head, if your face is round he cuts your hair so it looks slimmer.etc. a skilled barber with a clean, professional shop. Only 15 bucks. Be sure to tip him well.

My new go to barber shop! Tell em how you want your hair and it’ll turn out exactly how you asked for it. What more can you really ask? Definitely like the finish with the razor to get that «fresh cut» look.

Where do I go for that clean cut? Here ! David always takes care of me. True barbers only. I highly recommend stopping by here when you need a fresh haircut before that interview or party. Walk ins welcome also so you don’t have to stress prior just stop in and get a cut !! Thanks again D.

Finally after going to Downtown LA for my haircuts for years and living in Glendale I found this spot.
Price: $ 15 for a haircut $ 5 to schedule a appointment. Don’t forget to TIP!!!
Place: The place is very clean, they have 3 flat screen tv’s going on, AC on. They have great music playing and also have Water.
Crowed: So it was Friday around 4pm or so. There was about 3 – 4 guys there. Some had appointments. ($ 5 extra) The barber’s take time in cutting people’s hair as they should. They wait wasn’t bad at all for a Friday afternoon. As I see people finish I feel really good on cutting my hair. Clean fades.
Service: I cut my hair with Patrick. Very cool guy. Great conservation and makes you feel welcomed. Told me a lot about the place the hours etc. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and that’s all it took. He took his time and the outcome was great! I told him that he just got a new client. Really cool guy and gave me his cell so I can give him a heads up when I go to schedule a appointment.
Outcome: If you are around Glendale and want a great clean, friendly barber spot this is it. The price is great $ 15 for a clean haircut and $ 5 if you want a appointment. I got lucky to get Patrick because he really did great! «Don’t forget to tip your barber guys!!!

My boyfriend had his haircut today here with David. He was awesome he took his time and made sure he was happy before he continued. You gained a weekly customer thanks!

Good pricing but the barber who cut my hair was watching TV and answering calls from his girlfriend while cutting my hair. Needless to say my cut is jacked.
I already had a style that I liked and only wanted to trim the length. I asked the barber not to change the cut just to take a little length at the top and to cut the bottom as low as possible.
Either he must have misunderstood me or just messed up and had to cover it up by going shorter all around. There’s no style, no form, it’s like a «flowbee» haircut from 1982.
The owner was giving a haircut next to me and I could tell he was much more skilled than my barber because he was focused on what he was doing unlike my guy who was f**kin around. Fade is not right and its uneven. If you wanna be a good barber, you really outta keep your eyes on the hair bro.
The manager gave me a refund which I appreciate but this Unilocal review is really more of a feedback to these guys, it’s really not comforting to have someone cutting your hair who isn’t paying attention to what they are doing.

Came in here this morning for a clean up after gambling with another barbershop last night and striking out. David, who is the owner, helped me out right as the doors opened at 8AM. He took his time. blended my fade well, and complimented it all at the end with the razor finish. Very skilled barber and thankful that he was willing to fix someone else’s mistake. ($ 12 for touch up)

Well, going to a new barber shop is like rolling dice. I rolled the dice here and came out very satisfied. Patrick did my fade and it came out just the way I asked for it.
I am returning to fade image in a couple weeks. And Im bringing my son too.

Highly recommend Fade Image barbershop best of the best in Glendale I vouch for my barber David any day always a marvelous cut never dissapointed. I always get appoinments to get cut it’s convenient for me and my busy work schedule.
