In my top 2 of highly authentic, Grace filled, loved filled, and biblically accurate churches I’ve ever been to.

This is the best church in LA! The culture of love, amazing worship, and teaching has been life-​changing for the 6 years I have attended the church!

This church is rad! If you want to have a spiritual encounter with God come here. I’ve been coming here for like for five years now. It used to be located in Studio City and then move to Sherman Oaks and then I moved again I don’t I forget how many times we move but we been in this building in Glendale for couple years now and it’s awesome. I feel that the church should be demographically diverse. here we have families young people old people homeless people rich people industry people nonindustry people it’s a mix of everything and that’s LA a mix of every type of person.
If you like to paint dance etc. there’s freedom to do that at this amazing spirit filled church. Come check it out you’ll get hooked. You’ll also probably learn some amazing life principles and have an encounter with Jesus and have your life changed forever which is amazing!!!

We love Expression 58 from day one we’ve felt the Presence of God in the building and the people from the church! Our experience with the church family has been exactly that family! Love this church, and are so blessed to be a part of it’s community!

This is definitely a hipster church. Everyone is very good looking mostly 20s and 30s and they have a focus on justice and the arts. I’ve been here a few times because my best friend goes here and every time i’ve come i heard someone different speak and different people play worship as well. They have very talented musicians here. The worship is probably my favorite part. Its a smaller congregation, laid back and causal. They don’t have a parking lot so you either have to park on the street or i park in the rite aid plaza just up the street and walk down. They have child care and a small bookstore. There’s coffee and snacks afterward too for fellowship and stuff.

Okay, so I went back again this past Sunday and decided I really like this church!
It’s really laid back and casual and the people are really, really friendly, caring and open!
I really enjoyed the worship music and really got into the spirit during the time. Afterward, we also had communion which was a touching experience for me and then the moderator asked the congregation to pray for all the people of California because of the flu epidemic that had reportedly hit our state and a few others. The moderator asked if there was anyone in the congregation that was ill with the flu so we could all pray for them but excitingly enough, no one in the congregation was sick or had family members who were. That being the case, we continued to pray for all the people of California to prevent them from catching the flu and/​or to be healed from it.
We then prayed for anyone who had any other illness or sickness. One interesting thing is that a fellow sitting two seats to my right, named Jack, stood up after it was requested for people who need prayer for an illness or medical condition to stand up so we could pray for their healing. We, who were close to him, gathered around him and laid our hands on him and started praying for his healing. One of the guys from the church asked him specifically what he needed prayer for and Jack said he had wrist pain when he moved his hand. The gentleman then starting praying specifically for his wrist in conjunction with us. He then asked Jack after a few minutes to start moving his wrist and let us know how much better it was… i.e., was it 25%, 50%” better etc. Jack started moving his wrist and said it was 100% better because he didn’t feel any pain! Hallelujah! God is good and faithful. It goes to show that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever just like the bible says and He continues to heal people just like He did in the past and will continue to do so to those who believe!
After service, they actually happened to have a meeting that afternoon for anyone involved in the entertainment industry which I attended and found very beneficial and encouraging in terms of support and prayer. Since I also write music on the side, it was totally something that I needed and consider myself very blessed to have found this group.
I will definitely be returning again going forward as I believe I’ve finally found the right place to worship and fellowship since I’ve been searching for a place like this over the last few months. Praise God for His faithfulness!
