Dr. Van Sluyters offers comprehensive care in nearly all aspects of general dentistry. Despite receiving perhaps the finest dental education available, he attends over three times the required amount of continuing dental education classes every year. Besides the high standards of clinical care and customer service, chances are you might even have a laugh or two while in the office. We know that dentistry isn’t tops on everyone’s «To Do» list, but we do try to make it an enjoyable experience for all.

History

Established in 2006.

Dr. Van Sluyters came to Arizona in 2004 and assumed ownership of his office in 2006. Since then, he has molded it into a high level private practice that focuses on excellent patient care and personalized customer service.

Dr. Van Slutyers was raised in Northern California and attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He moved to Arizona in 2004 and worked at two dental offices before realizing his dream of owning his own office. Since then, he has focused on ensuring excellent patient care through a significant amount of advanced dental education classes. Dr. Van Sluyters feel so strongly about advanced dental education that he formed Arrowhead Education, a company dedicated to providing clinical and management courses to dentists from all over the state.

I absolutely love Dr. Eric and his staff! My family has been attending his practice for years now and I began seeing Dr. Eric too once I outgrew pediatric dentistry and I haven’t regretted it since.
I recently had braces and the process was amazing! All of my appointments were personable and precise. Dr. Eric is very talented at what he does in both dentistry and orthodontics. I highly recommend Dr. Eric’s practice if you’re looking for a dentist who loves his job, takes the time to know each patient, and someone who you can trust.

Dr. Van Sluyters is great! I have been going to him for years. He is so personable when he greats you. I feel so welcome when I go there and comfortable. Very clean office. Heather is great too. Everyone there is very nice! Highly recommend this dentist.

WOW!!! This is the first Unilocal review I’ve ever written and this office earned it!!! From Dr. Van Sluyters, to the staff assisting him, to the office manager Heather, it was a great experience. I visited (quite nervous and scared) after not going to the Dentist after a very long time. I had a chipped front tooth that was taken care of quickly and painlessly. I already have a cleaning scheduled and will be comfortable and happy to go back. If you are looking for a great, caring experience, go here. The office is beautiful with great windows and I can’t find one thing I would have changed. I am no longer nervous to go get my teeth worked on, and I look forward to working with Dr. Van Sluyters in getting my mouth as beautiful as it can be. Thank you for making a big difference already!!! I hope many people go there and share in the awesomeness!!!

I’ve seen DrEVS now twice for check-​ups (March 2014, & March 2015). March 2014 I had a cavity, and was scheduled for a filling the next day!
Dr. Van Sluyters is a great guy. He takes the time to connect with you. Clean office, cool magazines in the waiting room. Big windows to look out while getting treated. Smooth check-​in and check-​out.
It’s the little things, like putting goggles on my face, so water splatter doesn’t get all over.

I have been going to Dr. Van Sluyters since he took over the practice from my old dentist. Since he has assumed the practice, he has updated the office with all the newest technology that is available, as well as remodeled the office himself. He and his staff are very personable and he is always willing to «fit» you in if you have a problem come up. Twice in the last 6 months, I have had 2 different caps/​crowns come off, and both times they squeezed me in to reattach it with no further problems. I have to add that he did not do the initial work, but had to fix someone else’s work. I cannot say enough good things about Heather, the office manager. She always calls to remind me of appointments, and will always work with you and your schedule. Bottom line is that if you are looking for a great dentist that is up to date with the newest technology and very knowledgeable in his field, Dr. Van Sluyters is the guy to see!!!

Dr. Eric and his staff really are fantastic. After going to the same dentist for over 20 years, I was very hesitant to try someone new. But a friend I trust told me that Dr. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and willing to spend as much time with me as I needed to feel comfortable and that all of my concerns are addressed. She was right. And Dr. Eric does so in a very genuine and caring manner. His staff were equally as helpful and pleasant and, I think for the first time in my life, I actually look forward to going to the dentist. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Eric to anyone looking for the finest dental care in the best environment.

Dr. Van Sluyters is the best! The very first time I went to see him, my car wouldn’t start when I was leaving and he tried to help me get it going! After that, I decided to become a patient for life :) Not only does he care about his patients, but he is personable, friendly, and his staff is amazing. His Office Manager, Heather, is super friendly and an absolute pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good dentist!

We found Dr. Van Sluyters and his office staff to be both personable and professional. He actually spent time talking to us vs. previous dentists who rush in and out of the room. The ultrasonic cleaning was quick but thorough and was followed by an exam and further cleaning by the dentist himself. I would definitely recommend him for excellent dental care.

We were very impressed with Dr Van Sluyters and his office. After using revolving Army dentists for the past 6 years, it is nice to be able to see the same staff. The whole office staff was very friendly. Dr Van Sluyter was also very knowledgeable and personable. They are also able to schedule you within a reasonable amount of time. My husband was happy that they open at 7 am so he is still able to get to work on time.
