History
Established in 2006.
Located in the far west valley, Desert Gardens Mini Storage was built buy our owner to serve the storage needs for her neighboring apartment communities, Desert Gardens and Desert Gardens II, and the ongoing storage needs of our many deploying military members stationed at Luke Air Force Base. While the apartment communities and air force base had been established valley entities, there was a huge growth happening in the Surprise, Avondale, and Westgate areas that did not have sufficient storage to accommodate it. Our owner saw a need and filled it with a business that would offer a great product at a competitive price and still allow for personalized customer service. Added services, like the Post Office onsite, notary and faxing were implemented mainly as a convenience for our many apartment residents that have limited transportation available to them, but have embraced my our current clients and passers by as well. Although it might be our candy bowl that everyone likes best!
Meet the Manager
Karyn O.
Manager
Karyn is our Property Manager, and while she has been at the storage facility since 2009, she started with the neighboring apartment communities in 1999. She was involved with the building of both this facility and Desert Gardens II. Karyn was named Runner-up for Self Storage Association Manager of the Year in 2010, a nationwide contest. Having lived in the west valley her whole life, she is very familiar with the area, climate, and needs of our storage client.
