Established in 2014.

I have a Bachelor’s in Mathematical Science, a Master’s in Computer Science and over 30 Years of Work Experience in the I.T. Industry, holding positions ranging from Data Entry Keypunch Operator to Artificial Intelligence Research Scientist and everything in between. I currently am running a home-​based Computer Repair business and preparing for a Funding Proposal to recast the computer repair enterprise as a Multi-​Stakeholder Cooperative in order to reduce repair costs.

Eric started his I.T. career journey in 1980, when he was hired on as an Data Entry Keypunch Operator for Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company in Omaha, Nebraska. 10 years later he landed a Systems Programmer position, having worked his way up through the ranks with only the benefit of On-​The-​Job-​Training. His moderate victory would be short-​lived however, since it was about this time, 1990, when many employers began to require a college degree in order to be eligible for any high tech jobs. When he was turned down for a programming position with the City of Las Vegas after being one of only 3 applicants who scored successfully on the written examination, Eric decided to take the refusing interviewer’s advice that he instead seek a formal education. In 1991, Eric entered the Associate’s in Computer Science program at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York, and spent another 10 years chasing Artificial Intelligence.
