We provide an open shared office space and a special room for children to play for those members that are parents. At Collab&Play we organize multiple events (mastermind group, mixers, workshops) that can help professionals connect with others, improve skills, prefessional and personal life.

History

Established in 2015.

We believe that the traditional working environments do not offer a fair opportunity for parents to thrive professionally while truly maintaining a flexible lifestyle and enjoying their kids. We created Collab&Play to provide that fair environment much needed in our community, a place where parents can develop themselves and children get to play. We strive to be change-​makers in our community by also allowing freelancers, creatives and business owners to connect, learn new skills, and be inspired by other like-​minded people. We host several events such: mastermind groups, lean coffee sessions, mixers, and workshops.

It’s so great to have a place to go where I can work and my kids can play. The vibe is friendly and (yes) collaborative — people share resources and the environment is very encouraging, for those who want it. If you want to hole up and bang away on a project with no interruptions, that works, too. My kids have a great time there — the hardest part is getting them to leave. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky — look around the corner by the Enterprise rentals place or across the street at Cerritos Park.

This is a fantastic place to go and get some work done. I have 2 little girls and it’s really hard for me to work at home. Here I know they’re having fun and I’m actually able to focus for a little while.
I highly recommend it to others with little ones. I plan to go back.
Plus they have great collaborative workshops. Worth looking into.

I love this place. My daughter is in the room next to me while I work, with a nanny she adores. And I can pop in and out, if I want to. I freelance, so coming here 3 days a week allows me to save a bundle on childcare. I literally started a Unilocal account just so I could review Collab&Play…they’re new and I want to help them build their business… not least because I want to keep using them.
