This review is long over due. When I first started planning I was shocked on how difficult it was to find a place that offered good quality, affordable bridesmaid dresses. I searched high and low in LA but was always disappointed by the selection of dresses. Until I found cecile on Unilocal.I called her and left a message and was impressed on how fast she responded. I was able to come in the next day. I actually went back 3 more times and each time she welcomed me with open arms and gave me the same great customer service each time. I finally decided on a strapless blush dress for my gals. The color was exactly what I had been looking for and the girls looked stunning! Thank you cecile for making dress shopping so easy. Cecile was so wonderful to work with! My wedding was on 09÷26÷15 — I’m just getting to my reviews now because I’m such a procrastinator … BUT … brides and bridesmaids, come to Cecile’s shop! She is situated in the heart of Glendale and even though her shop is small, she has every kind of dress you can think of. She gives not only the bride a royal treatment, she does for the bridesmaids as well. She is easy to work with, communicate with (email, phone, text, etc) and she LISTENS to you AND your bridesmaids! She tells you the truth in terms of how dresses fit someone’s body and whether or not it is appropriate for the type of wedding you have in mind!
My girls tried on several dresses and she patiently helped all 3 of them in and out of numerous dresses until we found the perfect one! She informed us of the turn around time and arranged for their fittings to be done with her own recommended seamstress. She also arranged for another seamstress to alter my wedding dress to be perfect! Even though I didn’t get my bridal gown through her, I was able to do my final fittings at her shop. I would consider coming here for a special occasion dress anytime!
Make sure to CALL and make an appointment first — for very good reason. Cecile gives you her undivided attention during your shopping process. Have fun! :)

I have a custom made veil for that I ordered online from a random store for $ 170 that is too long and was too heavy for my head because of the designs. I need it as a cape and Cecile charged me $ 220 to turn it into a cape. I came to Cecile to fix it for my wedding happening in 1 month from now and I showed her a design where I wanted to convert it to a shoulder cape. I had a wonderful experience with Cecile and Anoosh to help work out a design that will work to turn it into a cape and she even let me keep the 2^nd tier of my veil with the comb to use along with the cape they will make for me. It will be made with an added shoulder necklace my mom bought for me. Seeing their pictures of past weddings they helped on their walls, Im more than confident it will turn out great. Im excited to see the outcome.

Ceclie’s dresses are the best! She has many selections/​styles for bridesmaids to chose from. More importantly, she is very helpful and organized. She is always available. She will go above and beyond to make sure you (as a bride) get everything you want. We went to her for my sister’s wedding as well. I will recommend her to any and every bride who is looking for bridesmaid dresses at affordable prices. Thank you Cecile for everything!

I remember coming to Cecile’s several years back when I was a bridesmaid for my cousin’s wedding. We had such an easy and enjoyable shopping experience, that I knew I wanted to stop by Cecile’s when it was my turn to pick out bridesmaids dresses.
Although the store is small and unassuming, she has so many options. I was looking at a few brands online (Bari Jay & Dessy) and she had a pretty large variety of sample dresses and swatches. In addition to the variety, her pricing can’t be beat, even if you order directly from the manufacturer. She easily saved me at least $ 25 per dress and when you have a large bridal party the savings add up fast.
Cecile is also easily available via email, phone, or text. My best friend and my sister in law also purchased their bridesmaids dresses from Cecile.
For reference, I ordered the Dessy 2882 (Taupe) for my bridesmaids and the Dessy 2894 (Taupe) for my maid of honor.

I was referred to her from my sister and my best friend who all ordered their bridesmaid dresses from her, too. After shopping around LA, trust me — from Santee to Beverly Hills to even shops in Arizona, no one compared to Cecile and her dress selections! I got all my 7 bridesmaid dresses from Cecile. Any size and style, she’s got it. Her shop is very sweet, very comfortable and private. I, like many brides, get picky with color. And, she was super patient, very attentive and suggestive of the perfect shade, and considered everything under my budget. I lived out of state and all my bridesmaids lived in LA and she would mail me color swatches or email me photos the same day if I questioned a style and how the color will look. She really went above and beyond to help me and I truly appreciate it. She was also knowledgeable with the lighting in photos or how colors will look. She was prompt with our orders and on top of getting back to me like within the hour! Highly recommend Cecile’s.
Tips: She’s by appointment only. Ring the doorbell when you get there. Parking is on the street and free.

I got my Bridesmaid dresses from Cecile. From the very beginning our experience was great. She had such a good attitude and a great eye for what we were looking for. We were in and out with a decision and order so quick that I wish she was our first and only stop. The whole process was just so swift and the order came right on time as we were told with no issues whatsoever. Working with Cecile was a pleasure. She helped each one of my bridesmaids find the perfect dress for my wedding. I really loved that it is by appointment early because it gives you that privacy you need with your wedding party. The dresses arrived earlier than expected and she communicated with me regularly. I found Cecile because the bridesmaid dress I wanted was on Dessy. She was so kind and nice. Luckily I knew exactly what I wanted and the fitting was fast. I can’t wait until it comes in! She also recommended her tailor and its a $ 40 flat fee — what?! That’s amazing. Small businesses is where it’s at. I’ve been in many weddings and haven’t had a nicer fitting. The last time I had to go to David’s bridal, not only were the ladies rude as hell, they ordered my dress in the wrong size and I spend a wedding in a dress I could breathe in. I know I won’t have this same experience with Cecile.

I found Cecile by searching Unilocal reviews. I liked everything that I read and I called her for an appointment. She got me in the same day. I had been looking for a Mother-​Of-​The-​Bride dress for weeks prior. Finding Cecile was the best thing that happened to me regarding the dress!
Cecile was wonderfully warm and friendly. She had me try on tons of styles and was completely patient and helpful in helping decide which would be the best dress for my body. I can back 3 times and kept trying on dresses and narrowing down my selection. She never pushed me to decide or made me feel rushed.
I decided on a dress and Cecile called me when it came in. Then the real fun part began! She had me pick out lace to match the dress and we decided together on where to put the lace on the dress to make it a one-​of-​a kind! The results were stunning! I got so many compliments on the dress and I felt like a Queen wearing it.
I wish I could give Cecile 10 Stars! The entire experience was a pleasure. from the picking of the dress right down to the price which was ridiculously affordable.

Cecile LOVES what she does & she will show you exactly that. We picked out our bridesmaids dresses & they all cam earlier then when she had told us. Everything was wonderful and the bridesmaids looked amazing. Super easy & pleasant to work with.

If you are looking for a pretty woman experience of service, you have come to the right place. Cecile was so beautiful and accommodating. My brother recently got married in a last minute full-​blown wedding. He was getting married to a friend of mine that I met in the cast of ‘Tony-N-Tina’s Wedding’ ironically.
Due to the 7 week notice on this full blown out of town wedding that I was to stand up in and M.C. for (no pressure),
I needed a bridesmaid dress fast! I am very curvy and needed something flattering in coral and with next to no notice.
Cecile had me try on all of the floor samples. I fell in love with one that was slightly too small, and had a snag in it. It was the perfect color and style though. Cecile said not to worry. She said her seamstress was a miracle worker. Indeed she was!
Because I wanted the dress shortened, they took off the snagged layer and the bottom, and used the cut off fabric to fit the bodice with side panels to alter the dress to perfectly fit me. In just a week and a half I had all of my fittings and hemmings were done (4 all together.) She even had back up heels when I forgot to bring mine for the hemming. (Shame on me. I was a theatre major and know better).
They made sure it got put first in line due to my time crunch and gave me a floor model and a cash discount. They were so sweet and efficient, and fun to talk to.
It was a bridesmaid emergency, and they really came through. I put up a pic of the finished product. It turned out absolutely beautiful.

I haven’t been into the store yet — but I already have to rate Cecile well for her initial customer service. I inquired about a bridesmaid dress over email and she responded within 24 hours with an answer and her number. I spoke to her on the phone today and she was able to confirm the exact dresses I am looking for, gave me very reasonable pricing information, and let me know how soon I should come in to order.
It’s not common these days to experience great, friendly customer service so I had to speak up about it. Need a bridesmaid dress — email Cecile! It’s not always an easy experience to try on a bunch of dresses that probably won’t fit you well — so it makes a big difference to have someone be nice and helpful during the process.
I’m looking forward to going there to try the dresses on and meet Cecile to tell her in person!

Cecile’s is a great place for bridesmaids dresses. The prices are affordable and Cecile is great to work with. After visiting several shops we arrived at Cecile’s and found the perfect dress within minutes. I would recommend all bridal parties to check this place out.
