Brand Grill

This review is for their service. I was greeted 5 minutes after I walked in, even though he saw me before that. No apology for the wait and took my order. He said it would take 20 min. and all I asked was if there was something else that would be quicker because I was so hungry. He just looked at me and replied, «this is not fast food.» Not with a laugh, said it with a pure look of disgust. I was shocked at how rude he was, so I left. I heard some yelling in the background and he then came out to ‘apologize’ for his bad English. Someone came in after me and he was really friendly to that customer.

Awful! This place is so dirty. I used to go here weekly until I went to a catered party where the food was contaminated. Never again.

I read some of fifty review about this place, so I decided to go there last week. At first time as i noticed, the view was amazing. The foods were great, I enjoyed a mushroom soup here. The drinks also have ⁹⁄₁₀ points, beers are fresh and cocktails are amazing. The staffs are friendly, you will be well-​served here. This is a good place for you to enjoy Brand Grill foods.

Even though this place is a «hole in the wall,» you would be doing yourself a disservice if you skipped over it. There is no shortage of good kebab joints in Glendale, and Brand Grill should definitely be considered one of them. All the meat they use is fresh and grilled to perfection. They have a wide selection of salads and will even do fresh fish orders if you call ahead of time. With really low prices, Brand Grill should be your go to for any event that requires catering.

I order from Brand Grill very often. Every time we have a family event, my family always knows where to cater from; the food is top notch– everything is always fresh and savory. The owner is also such a great guy, every time I walk into the restaurant he’s around to say hello and ask how my day is going, such a sweet guy! Anyways, if I’m not catering from here I’m probably ordering from them for lunch. I always get rice with the luleh chicken and hummus on the side. Me being a picky eater, I get tired of the same food very easily but I can always count on Brand Grill’s food to be just as great as it is every time. This place is truly the hidden gem of Glendale when it comes to Mediterranean food. You have to try from here at least ONCE, you won’t regret it!

I want to begin by saying that this place is simply AMAZING. Rating from its CLEANNESS ending with its DELIGHTFUL taste in food. I have been coming here for many many years now and made this my go to place along with my family. I highly recommend Brand Grill if you are looking for a good lunch or even if you’re trying to impress your guests at home for any given celebration. If you have not yet tried you are definitely missing out!!!

Love love this place. I buy lunch here all the time and catering for birthdays and other events. All the food is home made and the lavash is amazing. This is the best food for chicken, beef, everything they make is great. The owner is so nice and great. I will always continue to come here.

Their beef and chicken luleh kabob is very good. I come here for it whenever I’m in town. Although I have yet to try everything, this place has satisfied me so far.

I’m a big fan of Brand Grill. For a fraction of the price as Raffi’s you can get high quality food and service. The pork chop is amazing!

Simply amazing! The quality of the food is cooked to perfection, and everything tastes outstanding! The service was wonderful too! Great value for the quality, service, and experience that you get here! Definitely worth a try and will not let you down! I’d give it 10 stars if I could and an A+ for sure! Definitely coming back, and probably going to be a regular now. Going to try everything on the menu!

We were waiting to order and was completely ignored even though they saw us. Walked out and went next door to the teriyaki place with better service.

Bad attitudes of the owners means no sale to me. I was the only customer in the place. The woman and man working there acted like I was invisible. I left.

Came here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The taste of the food makes up for the language barrier. I ordered the beef shish kabob with a side of hummus and I loved every bite of it. The beef was a perfect medium rare, the food warm and fresh, and the taste was delicious.
The highlight of my late lunch was when the cook came out to ask in his broke English if everything was ok, when I said «yes» the look of genuine satisfaction on his face was priceless.
I will be ordering from here again, but will allot more time. It takes at least 25 minutes from the time you ordered, but well worth the wait.

Wow this is a hole in the wall… very small place inside but they give you a lot of food and it’s good! I got the number 5 combo and couldn’t finish it !

This hole in the wall place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Glendale.
Let me start off by saying I am really picky when it comes to Mediterranean food. This place left me speechless.
I came here for lunch with a coworker. We shared plate #5 beef and chicken with rice and hummus. The owner threw in potatoes as well. The potatoes were so good and seasoned to perfection. The chicken and beef was so tender and juicy. The rice was so good with the roasted tomato on top.
One thing i really loved was that he gave us both complimentary salads just for mentioning Unilocal.I am really glad i did because the salad was really good. the dressing was citrusy and made it taste really great.
The owner was very friendly and talkative. He made us feel welcomed and definitely made us want to keep coming back.
Brand Grill also caters so I will have to convince the office to cater some lunch for us from here.

Decided to try this place after all the great reviews! Although there weren’t many reviews, but I work near this place & wanted some healthy food, so thought I’d give it a shot!
Thank you Unilocalers for leading me in the right place!!! Like everyone says the owner is super nice and the food does take about 20 – 25 minutes, so call ahead if you’re doing take-​out or make sure you have time to eat if you want to sit in. But it is worth it, they make the food cooked to order, isn’t that how it should be! Everything was fresh and spot-​on, while I was waiting he even asked how I wanted the beef cooked!
I got the chicken and beef kebab combo plate (5) — came with hummus, rice, roasted tomato, and pieces of chicken and beef (I’ve also included a picture of my to go box)
I would definitely come here again, he liked the fact that I worked around the area and supported a small local business and offered me a free drink after chatting it up. Very nice man & definitely didn’t have to do that, but either way I was greatful for his kindness!

Just when I was starting to feel like I’ve eaten at all the good food stop in Glendale… I come across this gem! I was driving down Brand on my lunch break trying to think of a new place to grab lunch at the sign for Brand Grill catches my eye. I quickly check my Unilocal app and I saw 3… yes 3 5-​star reviews. I can’t say no to a Mediterranean place so I pull into the lot.
I come in and boy this place is small… I’m talking real hole in the wall. There are 3 2-​seater tables and, what looks like, a covered deli counter. Above that is a row of entrees and sandwiches… just about all of them under $ 10.
I make my order an the guy behind the counter says that there is about a 20 minute wait as everything is made from scratch… me likey.
THE ORDER
#5: 1 Beef Shish Kabob and one Luleh Kabob Plate — 5 out of 5 — Wow… just. wow! First off the plate was HUGE! This was enough food for two people. I take a bite of the beef shish kabob and seriously almost fall out of my chair. It was moist, tender and perfectly seasoned. The luleh was equally good. It was super tasty and juicy. Also on the plate was a huge serving of rice, some white onions and red onions and a roasted tomato and pepper. Add to this that the platting was done well too.
OVERALL
These are some of the best kabobs I’ve EVER had. It’s up there with Mini Kabob also here in glendale… maybe even a little higher as the service here is very pleasant. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot.
