Joel was absolutely the most perfect dance instructor for my father and I (father/​daughter dance). He was very patient, knowledgeable, polite, and such a great teacher! He is very flexible with your schedule and is very responsive via email, text, or phone. I wish I went to him for my own lessons for my fiancé and I, but we currently live out of state. But, when I visited LA, I went for a lesson with my dad with Joel. My dad learned so fast with him and and actually remembers each dance move, which is amazing! I highly recommend him! Thank you, Joel. I cannot wait to show off our moves on the dance floor soon at my wedding!

Joel and Francis are the sweetest people I have ever met. Joel is a fantastic instructor and has good knowledge about all the dances he teaches. Both Joel and Francis really put an effort to treat and relate to their students. They are welcoming and make you feel at ease.
My husband and I discovered this place while we were doing an evening walk and joined the group classes. We started with the beginner class and I then moved on to intermediate. Its amazing how the level of expertise changes with different levels and Joel makes you believe you can do it.
Very well organized and choreographed. All the people who come to the classes are so much fun to be with. I love the dance parties every month and you get to dance with different kinds of music, its a good learning method.
The prices are not expensive and its $ 60 for 6 week of classes — $ 10 per class for one hour. which is very reasonable and its totally worth it.

Fantastic.
This is a fantastic class with a good core of regulars and two outstanding teachers. We couldn’t be happier.
The structure of the class allows for one-​on-​one time with an instructor at regular, repeating intervals. Both teachers are very charming and pleasant and, of course, great dancers.
The 8pm beginners class changes it’s rotation regularly, which keeps it fresh and so we’ve been repeating it, learning a little more each time.
It’s very inexpensive relative to other group lessons. We’ve learned a lot more (better structure and better teachers) and we really enjoy it. More so, it’s good whether you’re by yourself or you come with a partner.
I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Joel is amazing! We used him to teach my husband and I a dance for our wedding. He was so patient, kind, talented, and wonderful. We looked so great at our wedding and blew everyone away with our amazing dancing skills! He also was extremely easy to book lessons, considering we both have busy schedules. He even met with us the week of the wedding on a Sunday night at 9pm. He so rocks!

I took this class having had no experience with dancing and was pleasantly surprised. Joel, the instructor is such a charismatic, easy going, and funny teacher. He makes dancing so fun and effortless that you find yourself getting better each time. Joel is not just a good dance teacher, he is a good teacher. Try him out, come see for yourself and allow him to reveal your rhythm.

Joel isn’t just another dance instructor, he’s remarkably talented and easy to work with. He can probably teach a raccoon how to do the Cha Cha. Try out the group classes and you’ll be coming back for more. He choreographs beautiful routines and really puts in the effort to build a relationship with his students. It’s a rare quality you will find anywhere.

I am not a dancer.
That being said, Wednesday night’s beginner’s course with Joel was enjoyable. Joel’s instruction is easy to follow and at a good pace. My wife was especially happy that I joined her as she had been asking for quite some time. :)
