Archers Lock & Security

I called Archers about two locks, and they were able to send someone over the next day. The locksmith did his work quickly at the price quoted to me on the phone. He ran out of receipt slips, so I gave him my email and they sent it a few days later. It was a smooth transaction, and I would use them again.

Wonderful experience with Archers. I had a very difficult-​to-​copy apartment key. Over New Year’s weekend, the owner sent someone to my home to re-​cut my keys for me because of my personal situation with needing the key in a hurry. They couldn’t have been any more helpful or kind about the situation from start to finish. I will definitely be back for future locksmith-​related needs and was truly thankful for all of their help!

I called to compare prices for a small rekey job. To justify his higher prices he gave me false information about a contractor’s license being required to do my work.

I called Archer’s at about 1:300 to get my back door re-​keyed to match my front door. It wasn’t an emergency and I was expecting to have to wait a day or two. They said they could be there by 3:00 and they arrived perfectly on time.
The locksmith who came out was Dylan and he was friendly, knowledgeable and quick.
I gotta say, it was a pretty near perfect transaction.
I’d definitely refer them to a friend.

These guys were a godsend. The lock to my business was stuck and we were suppose to open in 45 minutes. They were out in 15 minutes and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price, especially considering the emergency nature of the situation. So appreciated. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

My deadbolt between the garage and the house broke and we could not open the door. I called them and he was there 10 minutes early. He tried to fix it to save money, but had to replace it and the overall price was still reasonable. I would definitely use them again, but hopefully I will never have to.

Archer’s service is outstanding! My lockbox was stolen and I was desperate for a lock change today! Even though they were completely booked they found a way to fit me in due to the urgency of my situation. Gabriel called his guys Sean and Dylan and they were at my house in 20 minutes! They were so professional highly educated on safety locks and keys. They were FAST and thorough and helped fix part of my door that was coming apart. Outstanding service. let me tell you there work is always on point. They were highly recommended they had the key I needed that Home Depot didn’t. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

These guys are not only professional but reasonable they put in the locks on my brand-​new Nissan NV 2500 within 10 minutes they’re great fast and efficient I will be recommending them to all my friends and family

Great locksmiths. I went to 3 other places that couldn’t make my copies or just made bad copies of keys but these guys can do anything. Alot of new and old locks keyes made here.

Called Archer’s to come by my house and re-​key all the locks and to install a deadbolt. They sent a guy out same-​day (within 2 hours) and the work was complete within about an hour. Super convenient, efficient, and well-​priced! I would definitely use Archer’s Lock & Safe again for all of my lock and key needs.

They came 10min early of the appointment even the other Locksmith come hour late.

Archer’s Lock & Safe got the job done right and quickly. Called them needing a deadbolt replacement (the mechanism that turns the bolt itself had broken so the door literally couldn’t lock).
Within twenty minutes they had someone at my house, the job itself probably took another twenty. Not only did they replace the deadbolt (allowing us to keep the same keys), but they realigned the door to prevent the problem from happening again.
From initial contact to final transaction, I was very happy with Archer’s Lock & Safe and would definitely call them again.

Went to 4 locksmiths to have a truck toolbox key made with no luck. Went to Archers and he did not have the key blank, but he said he would order them. A couple of days later I had my keys. He was the only one who offered too order the blanks. Thanks for the great service and quality work!

Had key made at Home Depot. Simple house key. Guess what? Didnt work. Went to Archer and had them copy key. Works perfect. Gentleman explained why they are always cutting keys for big chain store mistakes. No one takes the time to recalibrate key cutting machines. I will never use big chain store again. Not worth the aggravation. Will use Archer again. Highly professional and knowledgeable. Thanks Sean! Semper Fi!

Stopped by to have two copies made of my 2001 Prius Master Key. I ordered micochiped replacement keys online and brought them here to be cut. Service was excellant. They copied them and the cost was only $ 4 for the cut and labor. If you don’t want to order online, they have replacement valet keys available there (although I’m not sure the cost). The dealership can charge you upwards of $ 200 for a replacement key, so do yourself a favor and stop by here first!
I will come back for all my locksmithing needs!

These guys are amazing! Friendly, professional, and honest. (And with a contractor’s license!) I should have called them from the beginning! They will be my go-​to locksmiths from now on.
I didn’t think it was even possible to give a 1 star review to a locksmith… but I had to leave one for Golden Locksmith today because they are so unprofessional *and* expensive!
My mother passed away two months ago and our family has been going through her home and boxing up her possessions. Her home has 4 exterior storage closets (with wrought iron security doors) and the keys were nowhere to be found. Naturally, we needed a locksmith. I have no idea what made me call Golden… they had a few good Unilocal reviews, so I wasn’t too worried. Wrong.
The guy that came to the house tried to pick the first lock and the second lock with no success (for at least 20 minutes). Then, he told me he would have to drill the locks (thus, ruining them) for $ 120 apiece! I thought the price was too high, but didn’t really think we had another option. That would have been $ 480 PLUS the $ 45 service fee (really?!? you couldn’t just throw that in, guys?!?)
Luckily, it took him about 40 minutes to drill the lock. Yeah, you read that right. FORTY MINUTES! WTH?!?@# Anyway, that was plenty of time for me to call another locksmith and see if I was being overcharged.
I called Archer’s Locksmith in Glendale and they were so professional right from the start. I asked how much they would charge to drill a lock if they couldn’t pick it, and Danny said it would be $ 85 for the first door… and $ 35 for the remaining doors, but he was also pretty confident they could just pick the lock. That was the exact moment I knew Golden Locksmith was screwing me over. I paid Golden dude for one door (which was more than it would have cost me to have Archer’s complete all the doors!)
Even though they were extremely busy, the guys from Archer’s made a special effort to come the same afternoon — including the owner, Matt, who looked around the house and saw that the balcony security gates were similar to the storage doors and guessed that they all used the same key. Sure enough HE WAS RIGHT! Professional and HONEST… and super friendly.
Matt & Danny looked at the lock the other guy had destroyed and immediately knew that he must not have had a license and clearly didn’t know what he was doing. I learned a HUGE lesson today and hopefully, this review will save many unsuspecting Golden customers in the future. I should have hired Archer’s from the start!
