The staff here leaves little to be desired. Never have been greeted, asked if I need assistance or even thanked for shopping. The name of the store is quite securing since items are NOT99 cents only. Items can be $ 2-$ 3 on average. The selection is pretty good but they are always so busy and rarely have more than a single register open, leading to long lines and wait time. They sell EXPIRED infant fever medicine! I had to bring it to their attention only to be given a attitude about it.

If you need a 99 cent store, mindful that it ain’t a high-end concept, this one is pretty clean one. Some of their staff speak English, and they don’t have a bunch of homeless people skulking around in front of the store.

Came in, couldn’t find what I’m looking for, so I ask an employee for help & they give a terrible response«what ever is here is WHATSHERE» totally irrelevant, i wasn’t asking you to bend over backwards & go check the back. Just wanted to know where it was located. After that, I took off & went somewhere else & won’t be coming here again. There’s another one on Bell that’s better than this place. RUDE.

As far as 99 cents stores go, this is a fairly good location. Lots of good brand name options and the occasional $ 1.99 item. They to slack on check out, sometimes only 1 lane with many customers.

In the classy mall that is home to Oggi’s, Barro’s, Firehouse Subs, and Ace Hardware there is a dollar store. Actually, just drop a penny and make that a 99 cents store. I come here for non-food items. Paper plates, paper towels, cleaning fluids, and stuff like that. I’m scared of the food here. The vegetables look like they’re moments away from expiration o’clock. I would also check the expiration dates on any cans or bottles you get here. An acquaintance in low places once mentioned that as a truck driver with an addiction to unmentionable substances, he would once in a while steal cargo from other truckers. And guess what kind of place readily accepts this kind of stuff no questions asked? Yup. 98 cents stores. This place is a penny more expensive so I’m sure that kind of stuff never happens here. They also have CDs and DVDs. I once tried to sell a bunch of old CDs to Bookman’s. The only thing they bought were the crappy dollar CDs of completely obscure crap bands that I bought in this store. Go figure! The best thing about this place, though, is the fact that they have 99 cent pregnancy tests right by the cashiers. Hey — even if it turns out to be wrong — it was only 99 cents!

I don’t know why I keep shopping here… maybe because you can buy a lot of stuff for $ 20. This 99 Cents Only Store is a bit of the dirty side, filthy shopping carts, the floor is always sticky right when you walk in(like at a movie theater), and the lines are ALWAYS super long here! Why do they always have only 1 or 2 cashiers working? Whether it’s 9 or 99 people in line… OPEN more check-out lanes! At least the employees are friendly here. Located on the southeast corner of 67th Ave/101…next to Ace Hardware.
