History
Established in 1997.
Since the beginning of 1997, Becker Logistics has been matching companies with top-quality freight carriers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our staff has the connections, knowledge, experience and state of the art transportation software to get the job done right every time. As stated in Becker Logistics’ mission statement, we are dedicated to using our combined 100 years of experience to meet all of your transportation needs. Because of that, Becker Logistics is growing by leaps and bounds. We’re expanding into new areas of transportation management, including a new division focused solely on supply chain management and third-party logistics (3PL) services. Companies large and small continue to seek out Becker Logistics because they know that to go with the best, they must go with Becker Logistics. In 2011 our new company slogan is ‘We Are Logistics!’
Meet the Business Owner
Jim B.
Business Owner
Before founding his own brokerage Jim gained over 22 years of logistical experience within the industry as a traffic, purchasing, and warehouse manager, as well as providing research development all for the same manufacturer. He started his career working for a brokerage that grew to be an asset-based company.
Jim is very involved within the logistics community. He sits on the Executive Advisory Council for McLeod Software. This council invites only a select few to create ideas and discuss enhancements for their transportation software. Jim has also spoken at McLeod’s Users conference on the importance of customer service within our industry. Jim is active with the TIA and this year was elected as an board member. He is on the Education Committee and has been asked to speak on WebEx panels as well at the TIA conventions.
