Meet the Manager
Peter C.
Manager
Peter and Marsha Comstock settled on the family’s 85 acre homestead in 1975. The farm and land was first worked by ancestors from Scotland back in the 1860’s. Over the years, the Comstocks transformed portions of the huge farmhouse into classrooms. They built a new post and beam barn to house school and agricultural activities. Separate campuses were established for the lower and upper elementary classrooms. In addition to a solar energy installation, a «green» classroom was constructed recently using ICF (insulated concrete forms). Certified teachers and Montessori educators from Washington State originally, the Comstocks welcomed their son and his wife to the 36 person staff in 2000.
