Meiganne Serrano Catering + Events

This is my third time using Meiganne Serrano Catering to cater an event and I cannot say enough how great she was. She was wonderful to work with — very professional and on top of things. And the food was BEYOND delicious — so fresh and tasty — everybody was raving about it! I will use this company again and again!

Meiganne catered a brunch party at our home for my mother’s surprise retirement party and we could not have been happier! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. There was plenty of food, and leftovers despite our guests going back for second and even third helpings in some cases. She had made several suggestions as to the types of food, and how and when to serve it. We went with her suggestions and everything flowed seamlessly — my guests all commented on how amazing she was, and how many things she was able to do at once, all the while making it look effortless. We will use Meiganne again for any events we have, and will highly recommend her to anyone — she’s amazing!

I work for a German non-​profit and Meiganne catered our classical music concert at Lincoln Center last night. The entire experience working with Meiganne was absolutely fantastic. To begin with, she was willing to work with our budget (did I mention we are a non-​profit? Limited funds!) yet the foods she provided did not reflect our limited budget at all. Everything was not only delicious but well thought out — our audience is mostly German and Meiganne, on her own accord, came up with a Kilbasa/​Sauerkraut/​Mustard hors d’œuvre that was a big hit. The pastries she served were scrumptious and disappeared all too fast for my liking, I only got to try 3 different kinds myself ;) Meiganne also provided two staff members, a captain and a bartender. They were both extremely professional and helped make everything run very smoothly. As the event manager, I didn’t have to worry about anything which was a nice change. We will have more events at Bruno Walter Auditorium and will not hesitate to hire Meiganne again.

Meiganne catered a progressive dinner that I was a part of. The food was plentiful, fresh, delicious, and healthy. The dinner guests are STILL talking about the food and the event was a few weeks ago. Meiganne herself was organized and professional. She is invested in her food and it shows.

I attended a holiday event in NYC at the NY Public Library’s Bruno Walter Auditorium, that is, in a location that is not really a catering facility. The hors d’oeuvres were from Meiganne Serrano Catering & Events. WOW!
I’ve been to a lot of places with walk-​around hors d’oeuvres service. This food was some of the best I’ve ever had, bite size or full service. They served a variety of bited sized items in various edible cups and crusts — a usual place for mediocrity — not these. They were all light flaky and delicious regardless of fillings like sundried tomatoes or absolutely amazing empanadas filled with grass-​fed beef and served with the world’s most amazing cilantro salsa. A vegeterian white bean and something, gorgeously seasoned veggie item on a crisp oval of flatbread, and tiny cups of shrimp ceviche with avocado were amazing. Her servers were competent and a few were absolutely great.
The desserts were to die for — light apricot sandwich cookies, a variety of adorable mini cupcakes and over the top, death by chocolate, chocolate dipped chocolate truffles — MMmmmm…

Meiganne did an amazing job catering our daughter’s Communion. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests could not say enough about the selection and how delicious everything was.
