Glen Rock Custom Tailors has altered clothing for my whole family (both men and women) for years. The work is beautiful, the attention to detail always there and Lee’s kind and courteous service makes you come back time and time again. This is also the place to go for custom made suits, beautiful sweaters, shirts, and ties as well as «in stock» jackets. I highly recommend this very special place.

This place is a little gem !!! My fiancé got his suit there and tailored another suit. You don’t find any small business suit places anymore everything is big business. You can tell the owner takes pride in his place and genuinely cares about you. I would recommend this place, small business is where it’s at and helping our fellow community stores.

Lee does great work. My husband has gotten suits/​shirts from him and had them altered. They all were done perfectly in a short turnaround time. He altered two dresses for me that also were done perfectly. Just a very easy, simple, friendly, enjoyable experience. I would recommend Lee to anyone– male or female.

I am not a suit guy at all. Work is casual which means Dockers, button down shirts and whatever belt/​shoes suit me. Unfortunately, I have 3 weddings, 2 Bar Mitzvahs and a dressy party, all before the end of the year. Lee has done all my tailoring for about 3 years and has always impressed me with his candor and exceptional old world skills. He did a suit for my father over the summer which totally blew me away. The quality and fit were nothing short of spectacular. Okay, so you see where the story is going.
I walked in on a Tuesday and several days later he had the most incredible suit waiting for me. The quality and fit could not have possibly been better. It literally fit like a glove. And not one of those off the rack North Face gloves either. I wore it to a wedding last Friday and received literally 5 compliments on it. Please tell me the last time you wore anything, let alone a suit, and had people comment on how awesome it looked. As far as price, it was considerably less then I would have paid at Neiman’s, Nordstrom or Saks and again, no comparison in fit either. I will never buy a suit elsewhere ever again. You shouldn’t either.

Over the past two years I’ve been trying to dress more like a grown up, by reading blogs like Dappered and PutThisOn. I’ve purchased a few different blazers over the years and never had them tailored so I decided to check out Glen Rock Custom Alterations. Lee, the owner, was very friendly and gave his opinion of the fit of the jackets I’d purchased. He’s a REAL Italian taylor, who wasn’t snooty and didn’t make me feel like I was wasting his time with off the rack jackets. After trying on four of my jackets for him, he only suggested shortening the sleeves of two of the jackets. Afterward he had me try on some of his jackets and I was very impressed. He had both half and full canvased suits for VERY reasonable prices. My office is business-​casual so I don’t need to wear a suit very often, but some day, soon hopefully, I’m going to buy a nice suit from Lee.
