History

Established in 2013.

FirstLight HomeCare creates a new standard in non-​medical, in-​home care customized for seniors, new mothers, adults with disabilities and those recovering from illness, injury or surgery. The demand for high-​quality in-​home care is at an all-​time high, with more than 12 percent of Americans over 65 years old and wanting to remain independent for as long as possible.

Meet the Business Owner

Boyd L.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Bergen County my wife and I started FirstLight HomeCare as a family business.

I am focused on providing services to others with extraordinary people, and exceptional care. I also served as an Active Duty Marine from 1982 – 1986 with overseas deployments in two military conflicts which has led me to a clear mission to aid our veterans here on the homeland.

Prior to opening FirstLight Home care, Boyd ran his own technology company, focusing on system integration and design of warehouse operational systems.
