We help our scholars get on the right path towards achieving their academic goals by collaborating with families and schools to build academic relationships. This gives scholars the necessary foundation for a promising future.

Our tutoring programs show progress and our small class sizes provide individualized attention for subject work and test preparation.

Test Preparation: PSAT, SAT, ACT, SHSAT, ISEE, TACHS, state tests, regents.

Subject Preparation: Math: grades 1 — 6, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-​calculus, calculus, English, Social Studies, Global Studies, Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics

History

Established in 2007.

Studor was founded in 2007, offering private tutoring for subject enrichment. When the founder discovered the greater need of parents who could not afford private tutoring, Studor expanded its services to include quality, small group instruction at an affordable cost. Parents often expressed their lack of access to effective supplementary education and their inability to help their own children because of various reasons. That’s when we realized the importance of the inclusion of parents in their own children’s education. We believe in educating the whole child, and this is better possible with the involvement of parents and families so that we can adapt our delivery of instruction to meet the culture of each scholar. We strive to understand the needs of our families, and our programs have remained flexible to answer to those needs. We have helped hundreds of scholars over the years and continue to work towards helping many more to become independent, life long learners!

Business Owner

My name is Hetal Jani, the Founder and President of Studor. As a graduate with a Master’s in Education from Harvard University, I am passionate about equitable access to education for all. I am a proud product of the New York City Public School system, attending Stuyvesant High school, one of the most competitive high schools of NYC. The rigorous curriculum and competition that made me into the individual I am today and I have a strong belief that everyone deserves such a curriculum to help develop them into a strong contributor of society. I am dedicated to listening to parents and evolving Studor to help meet the goals parents have for their children. Together, I believe we can provide the best education for every child!
