Hampton Inn & Suites Chadds-Ford

Originally reserved room for two nights. On second night we decided to stay a third night after picking up daughter from lacrosse tournament. Woke up after 2^nd night and had bill for three nights under our door (even though we only stayed two), the third night hadn’t even occurred yet and we had to convince staff we were only there two nights. The worst part was we reserved a roll-​away for my daughter on our final night — well guess what, my daughter wound up having to sleep on the floor because there were no beds available — they gave them all away, even though we had reserved one and had already been at the hotel for two nights. No apology, no discount, NADA! lost customer.

Just stayed there this weekend– what a lovely place to stay! Clean rooms, very nice pool area, staff were helpful and pleasant, parking was ample. The breakfast was very nice and tasty– lots of variety and fresh fruit and healthier options were available and coffee and other tasty hot beverages 24 – 7. Really enjoyed our stay all the way around! Wait a minute– I’m laying in my bed back home, missing the Hampton inns comfy bed??? Five stars! :)

This was my first time at a Hampton Inn and I can say that I will definitely check out this brand on my future business trips. The thing I appreciated the most about this hotel was the layout of the room. It was shaped like an L with the bed as far away from the door as possible. Until someone can invent a hotel room door that doesn’t slam when it is closed, I want to stay in a room shaped like this. It was so wonderful to sleep through the night instead of being woken up every time someone else in the hall went out or came in.
The gym was pretty good too — two treadmills an eliptical machine, free weights. I was able to get in several good workouts while I was there and I consider myself to be a committed gym rat.
The breakfast was also good. It was the standard hotel breakfast fare, but everything was replenished frequently and seemed fresh. I also liked that they had skim mild and lots of fruit, yogurt, and cereal so I was able to eat my normal healthy breakfast.
This hotel is located in an area with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby and there was ample parking.

Nice front desk guy, but had to change room twice, first room had dirty towels on the floor and the second did not get the local networks. After the initial room problem, not bad.

I stay at this hotel a 2 – 3 times a year for business. I especially like the fact that the rooms are very quiet. I’ve never heard street noise or any other noise from other guests, with the exception of a slamming door in regard to the rooms in my room’s immediate vicinity.
The indoor pool is well maintained and you should definitely take a swim suit and take advantage of it.
The breakfasts are included in the room price and is buffet style. Nothing fancy, eggs, sausage or bacon, fruit, yogurt, bagels — you can even make your own waffles with batter that you pour into a waffle iron.

Very new and nice. The lobby space is very big and nice seating areas. Lots of conference space if you need to do work. The rooms are nice — the coffee maker and supplies are a nice touch.
The gym is minimal but well kept.
FREE BREAKFAST — take advantage!

It’s a nice clean hotel to stay at. No issues with my room. Their complimentary breakfast is on par with all the other HI’s I’ve stayed at, but their bananas were pretty sorry looking during my stay. You can eat at the steak place which is a 2 minute walk away.
When I left one morning, I noticed that one of the exterior windows had a hole, like it was caused by a pellet gun or a rock that was thrown by a weed wacker. Anyways, when I got back in that afternoon, the window was replaced.

I found Hampton Inn & Suites based on glowing reviews on TripAdvisor. This is a really nice, clean, well-​run hotel with modern furnishings and a nice airy feel. It is a terrific place to stay for a reasonable price.
The hotel cost includes a free breakfast including make-​it-​yourself waffles, egg and cheese omelettes (which look like they’ve been microwaved), cereal, and yogurt. The meal is decent but not spectacular.
This is the perfect hotel if you just need a place to stay overnight while visiting Longwood Gardens.
