We are a maker/​hacker space. We are a community-​operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and/​or collaborate.

History

Established in 2009.

Originally located in Naperville, Workshop 88 was the first maker/​hacker space established in the Chicago Suburbs. From very humble beginnings we have grown to be a wonderful place to learn, collaborate and socialize with people that like to hack, fix and create.

Manager

Russ founded Workshop 88 in Naperville in 2009. He has served as the President since the spaces inception. Russ likes programming, vi and UDP.
