Business Owner
Specializing in treating patients with glaucoma, cataracts, laser surgery and general eye care, Dr. Barnes joined Glen Ellyn Ophthalmology in 1986. As clinical associate professor of ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center, Dr. Barnes has supervised the glaucoma service and has lectured extensively on glaucoma.
Dr. Barnes received his medical degree from Rush Medical College and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society and the Chicago Glaucoma Society.
