Specialties
Laurel Glen Vineyard produces award winning Cabernet and a Rose’. All of our wines are made using fruit from our certified organic Sonoma Mountain vineyard. Laurel Glen Vineyard, a thousand feet up the slope of Sonoma Mountain, has long been considered one of the iconic Cabernet vineyards of California. Originally planted in the 1880’s, the 1st vintage of Laurel Glen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was created in 1981. Despite its small production, the wine has received international acclaim for its exceptional elegance and ability to age gracefully.
History
Established in 1977.
The Laurel Glen vineyard has a long and storied past. Originally planted in the 1880’s, it was replanted to Cabernet Sauvignon in 1968. Patrick Campbell bought the property in 1977 and slowly increased the size of the vineyard. In 1981, he produced the first vintage of Laurel Glen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1986, Laurel Glen Counterpoint was created, as a more appropriate expression of the earlier drinking lots from the vineyard.
